I tried upgrading the OS of my phone from Jelly bean to Kit-Kat. I rooted the phone first and then installed the new ROM using ODIN. Earlier it was working fine but the wifi wasn't working properly so I again downgraded the OS to Jelly bean but now it shows no network. I went in the service menu using the code *#0011# there it shows IMEI corruption. I even showed to many service centers they couldn't fix the problem they tried to overwrite the IMEI but they weren't successful in doing so some even told that it can't be repaired. The phone is out of warranty. Is there any way to get rid of the problem without changing the motherboard ?

You cannot downgrade Kitkat to Jelly Bean coz u have new bootloader now. Make a full wipe and install Kit Kat again :highfive:

I have updated my Nexus 4 with 4.4.4. Then my phone starts reboooting often and later on get into a bootloop. I downgrade it into 4.2.2 and there i got past with the bootloop but i cant make a call now. When I dial *#06#, its showing IMEI is unknown. Baseband version is unknown. All i did was flashing the 4.2.2 stock. What should i do now??
Flashing the 4.2.2 radio and it should work again.
owner says that he got an error in his m201 softbank android and he took it to someone who flashed it with wrong firmware. before flash imei was ok but after flash imei showing "0"
it is running now us verizon xt907 4.x.x
at this stage i tried to restore its orignal imei and get success in log but when see in android still same problem imei "0"
now how to solve it?
I am having hell of problem with my At&t G2 D800. For last 2 months I had issues like INVALID CARD every time I restart/Power off my device.
From last week it got permanent and now I have IMEI=0 , Unknown baseband and Service disabled.
Don't have backup of EFS
Tried Flashing Stock KK Firmware but no way.
Tried to fix IMEI with EFS Professional and it says succeed but after restart its still same.
Can any expert help me or anyone can say is it possible to get my phone fixed? Or should buy a new one
I have 2 different imei's.When I check the imei written on the back of the device on imei checker then it tells me its model is d802.The second imei (which is different from the first one) I get is from the phone settings. When I check the second imei on imei checker,it also tells the model as d802.But when I checked the model number on the motherboard of the device by actually opening it,there is written d800.
Also, the I am running the d800 software(I bought it that way)....it worked fine till it mysteriously lost the cell signal.I am thinking that may be if I change the imei of the phone to a d800 one,I might be able to regain the signals. But I can not find d800 imei anywhere.Any suggestions??
