[Q] IMEI Issue - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have updated my Nexus 4 with 4.4.4. Then my phone starts reboooting often and later on get into a bootloop. I downgrade it into 4.2.2 and there i got past with the bootloop but i cant make a call now. When I dial *#06#, its showing IMEI is unknown. Baseband version is unknown. All i did was flashing the 4.2.2 stock. What should i do now??

Flashing the 4.2.2 radio and it should work again.

[Q] SHV-E330S Baseband and IMEI fix?

Hi,
I'm desperately looking for a way to restore my phone functionality.
Model Number is Galaxy 4 SHV-E330S!
I have been trying to root my phone now for over a week, I have managed to remove all firmware, and then restore it as there doesn't seem to be anything that works.
I now have the original firmware, however, there's no recognition of 'phone' software:
No usim detected;
Baseband version: Unknown
IMEI: Null/Null
I cannot upgrade most apps, as that seems to be blocked as well. Flashed stock ROM as many times as possible via Odin and Pilz software, repartitioned device, and still nothing!
PLEASE PLEASE WILL SOME ANGEL SWOOP DOWN AND HELP ME GET MY PHONE WORKING AGAIN?

[Q] S4(shv-e300s) Lost IMEI after lollipop update

So i just updated my s4(shv-e300s) to lollipop firmware of it. then after the update, i lost my signal and imei turn into 15 zeros / 01. How can i fix this? is there a method to restore my original imei and get back my signal? i tried flashing back the kitkat, but it doesn't help. Please help me.

No network/No service/No signal... GT-I9500

Hello guys
my problem started when I tried to upgrade from 4.4.2 (KitKat) to 5.0.1 (lollipop), I tried first to upgrade using Kies but I just didn't work it recognized my phone and downloaded the firmware but couldn't install, so I went to the other option "odin" I flashed the firmware for my region for my phone yet when it turned on I had a very week signal.
when I tried going back to kitkat I had no service at all and lost my IMEI and baseband, then I tried different regions of lollipop and kitkat, but still nothing, and I thought I lost my IMEI and that I need to write it manually using this box (I don't remember its name) until yesterday when I flashed a Turkish kitkat which restored my IMEI and baseband but still no service, then I backed up my efs folder and went on trying every modem in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192025
I tried everyone of them some gave me "no service" others "emergency calls only" and a third group didn't even recognize the sim card however all of them changed my IMEI to either NULL or the fake IMEI.
now I tried to restore my esf folder but it didn't work, so I thought to re-flash the Turkish firmware (which retrieved my IMEI and serial) but also didn't work and now I still have a fake IMEI which is weird because it worked before.
I tried every method every solution and nothing worked
I even contacted Samsung who told me that it cannot be fixed in Europe cause it is an international model and has to be fixed from where it was bought (Jordan)
and now um feeling really hopeless
please help

HELP. I9505 IMEI= null/null, baseband = unknown after attempt to update baseband

I was trying to update my baseband today and ran into some troubles. After flashing a stock ROM with the correct modem (or, at least I believe it was the correct one), my sim isn't detected, baseband shows up as "unknown", wifi doesn't work and the IMEI is listed as "null/null". I have no idea how this happened, but I'm scared I may have somehow bricked my phone (which I desperately need tomorrow - oops).
Is there any known fix for this?
It's an I9505, I use the German carrier 1&1 and was flashing the XXHOJ2 baseband. I also did not make an EFS backup (oops #2).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: I just flashed an old nightly of CM12 and now suddenly everything works again. No idea how that happened, but yeah... the problem is fixed. If any mods out there could delete this thread, that would be nice.

no. the only way to fix it use a octupus box but unfortunately it is illegal in many countries as it can be used to restore or change imei number.
Lost baseband/IMEI using Odin?
Did you used latest version of Odin 3,Downloaded CORRECT/Same firmware for your S5? Is latest firmware? Flashed via "AP" Option and Mark Auto reboot, F-Reset time and NAND Erase, Only This Options in flashing?
Downgrade to Stock 4.4 kitkat and root.. Install Xposed framework... inside Xposed you will find imei changer... download & install. after that turn off phone remove battary and you will see IMEI number..
write somwhere and turn phone.. open imei changer and enter original imei number.. click save and restart phone... now you can update to any firmware version...
