Alcatel one touch fire - bricked? - Firefox OS General

Hi guys. I'm sorry if I put this thread on a wrong section, i'm just in a hurry and freaked out.
Anyways, my friend was looking to put android on his phone - Alcatel One Touch fire which had firefox OS. We followed this tutorial:
After doing all the things he did (I don't understand Portuguese), I ended up waiting at the splash screen forever. The phone just sits at the splash screen and nothing else.
Bear in mind that I haven't even rooted it or put custom recovery in it.
Please, help me fix this.
Million thanks in advance!

[Q] HELP with running android

Hey all,
I've tried running a couple versions of Android and unfortunately for me - they all get stuck on the black screen with white writing (relocating kernel etc... - right after you hit haret).
Anyone know where I'm going wrong? Android is on the root of the sd card.
Do i need anything else?
Obviously I'm running a hd2 - the aussie version T919blah whatever it is.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Dude there was no need for this thread, Dont you think that this has been asked before or do you think that you are the only person to ever need help with this topic?
Please go and look at the forums, there are plenty of stickies and guides that clearly explain what you need and what to do to prepare for android.
You could've just pointed me in the right direction rather than being a jerk.
what rom?
what radio?
CW or not
we need more info

[Q] Android on the HTC HD2 (HELP!!)

Hi,
I hope someone can help im trying to load Android on to my HD2 and ive not had much success so far.
Ive got through forums after forums and im now at a dead end!!
I have a typical HD2 - on the Virgin Network now ive been looking through youtube vids and forums and all there mobiles have been T-Mobile models (i dont no if this makes a difference) althought i no some one with a Virgin Mobile one and theyve done it they gave me a link to use that they used but its not longer active.
Ive tried serveral different Android Roms but nothing works i start the intall proces and i either end with this -
HaRET boot
Sutting down hardware
Turning off NMV...
In preloader
PSR=600000df
Tags reloadedto 0x11b00100 (size 0x00000f00)
Kernel rel0cated to 0x11B0B000 (SIZE 0X0026F2EE)
Initrd rel0cated to 0x12200000 (size 0x001cfde1)
Jumping to Kernel (custom) ...
AND FREEZES
or i get this -
The boot loader starts and seems to be loading and intalling and then for no reason just stops mid flow and fades out.
it this untill i take the battery out and put it back in again and it loads windows 6.5 fine.
this is doing my nut in and i would like to get rid of Windows 6.5 and have android put on to here it so much better!
I hope you can help thank you inadvance!
Cool Breeze
Firstly this section is for development not Q&A.
Second, What you are doing isnt going to replace your winmo 6.5, it will still be there. The process you are trying to do is simply to make your phone reboot into android kernel and boot from sd card from and android "build" NOT a "rom", You are not installing anything.
If you want to replace winmo you need to install MAGLDR and then flash one of the NAND roms to your phone.
I noticed you didnt mention anywhere about your spl or radio versions which makes me think you haven't even bothered to go and read any guides before creating this topic in wrong place.
Go and do some reading of the guides which you will find in the stickies or by searching forum.
Cool
Thank you i think! new to the website trying to find a little help and all i get is attitude wicked!!!
Sorry i posted in the wrong place but rather than giving me attitude you could point me in the direct of a threat that would help me!!

You haven't even bothered to do the most logical thing in a forum, which is to read the stickies where 9/10 the info you need is located.
So please give me a reason why I should wipe your arse?
I dont mind helping people alsong as they also try and help themselves, but people who come here and go directly into posting a topic is just pure lazyness. If you want help and support at least have the manners to attempt to read a little first.

Tri-Colored Screen wont go bye bye

Hello folks!
I need some of your expertise. I have been on here and I rooted my HTC HD2 with android and it was all fine and dandy till my phone started being dumb, so i need to send it in and i cant have android on when I do so I was trying to take it off and I flashed it with the stock htc hd2 rom for TMOUS. and after that finished i'm stuck on the tri-color screen. I am sorry if this was already posted but what i saw about being stuck on the tri-color screen, is not the same way they got stuck on the screen. So, if you could tell me how i messed up that would be great and how I may fix this problemo, or have I bricked it.
Thank you in advance, sorry again if this is double posted but i looked!

Well, the last WinMo device I owned was a 6.1 Titan/Mogul, but last I remember, getting out of the bootloader screen was a matter of running the official carrier RUU. Is that what you mean by "flashed the stock rom"?
well if the device boots in to bootloader on its own sounds like the volume down buttons is busted,
if the phone doesn't boot a rom then sounds like u havent flashed a stock rom properly,
and good news bootloader means its not bricked

[Q] Help please

Hi ,
My daughter has had this phone for about 18 months and it has never missed a beat until last week. It will not start, it will not get passed the Samsung logo.
I have tried to flash the phone without success, again it will not get passed the logo screen - now, i could have done the procedure wrong......very probable, could somebody point me to a complete newbie guide, including links for progs required and if possible a step by step, including rooting the phone ( i fear i may have done this wrong)?
I am assuming that the phone is salvageable and not bricked? I have had some experience of flashing before, with my HTC Sensation, had numerous custom Roms on that , but it has been some time since.
Really chaps, any kind of help and guidance wouid be really appreciated with this problem.
Regards
Rob

Please post support questions in the questions and answers thread
You will need to flash stock rom via odin - you will find instructions on my firmware thread at the top of the dev section or by clicking the link to goto my list of threads in my signature
For rooting please search - you will find lots of root zips and guides - in fact theres one I think currently on the 1st page of the general section
fixed

HTC Magic Ubuntu Touch

Hello folks,
I have an old HTC Magic, actually a Japanese HTC-03A. A lovely little phone.
Ideally I'd like to flash it with Ubuntu.
Can't find any images for the Magic, can anyone point me in the right direction?
If it can't be done, I'll just have to root it and flash a nice, clean, fast ROM onto it. I'll let my son play with it.
What do you think, folks? What can I do? Did I post this in the right place, apologies if not.
Thanks a lot.
Talk to you all later.
have you found any roms for the htc magic?
