If you are able to do anything usefull with the source you'll figure out the difference by looking at the commits.
I don't know it from the top of my head as the last code release from google was two years ago.

So i managed to compile 4.3.2.1.000.000 Grouper ROM from Google Source today.
Was wondering why I'm getting 4.3.2.1.000.000. I've never seen this before when compiling.
I assume this is PURE AOSP?
Can upload if anyone want's ...

When you compile AOSP from the master branch, it has a version number like that to show that it's different from the stable releases.Android 4.2.2 from master was 4.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.

and that's what I got. Was very confused ... lol
Thanks.
Anyone know how to build CM for the 6p (Angler) as of yet? I always like to fool around with new version of CM but I can't find any info at all about getting it to build for the 6p. Very surprised I haven't seen a build yet on a Nexus device.

There's a new CM13 Nightlies Rom thread by nowy57 over in Development section...
Hi there,
Having seen that this device is gaining popularity in the Southeast Asian region, I have taken the time to start an unofficial development of CM for this device. Right now, having gotten the kernel to build but without the device I won't be able to extract the required blobs and such to start a device tree. So I'm asking here if you guys wanted to help and extract the blobs using the method here: https://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Doc:_porting_intro
Build a device tree based on @hondajohn88 repo and right now doing changes to it to support CM.
https://github.com/webhaikal/android_device_leeco_zl1
You can use this for Method 1 in the porting intro: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862684212. You either need a Linux distro or Ubuntu Bash on Windows..
Here's the kernel I build: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862684239
As I don't have the financials to actually buy the device, that's why I'm asking here...
Thank you..
I really don't know anything about building ROMs, but reading method 1 all you need is boot.img?
Hi, me, @hondajohn88 and someone else are working on a source build. Please dig in github for device tree and so on.
Let's keep in touch!
edit: checked updater script and it is referred to Xiaomi device (ferrari). Is that ok?

Sorry about that, yes, the spec sheet not updated.
Later this evening I'll try to get everything I have updated to git, but what's there now is a decent start (my first commit, so there are a few changes)

I'm not sure about the codename. I think it's "le_zl1" at least this is what "ro.build.product" contains. Here some relevant properties from my LEX720 (the chinese version which has dual-sim):
Code:

I agree, and I have since changed to using some of oneplus3. I hadn't changed the device spec on my repo, but merged the change given to me by @haikalizz.
Mostly I was using the Kenzo files as a template, but changed it up a short while after.
Thanks

Yes, of course. This is the original unmodified boot.img of the chinese LEX720 model running the latest EUI version for the chinese model (5.8.018S). Note that for the US version there is already a newer release (5.8.019S).
I uploaded it here to my server: WAXCNFN5801811012S_boot.img
the lastest cho x720 is eui 5.9 20s which available from

This is a custom release. Is there also somewhere an unmodified official download to look into? The OTA server still responds with version 018S for my device:
You have to replace the XXXXXX.. with your actual IMEI (and maybe also model and product) to get a response from this server.
im downloading the package. I will flash this build for test ( x720 is my 2nd phone )

Do you think we will have a lineageos build for huawei nova?
That would be great, but first we need a rom base for any rom....
After my exams in february I would like to try porting Lineage OS to our huawei nova...but thats not a promise, it's an "Let's try and hope.."
Too bad there was not activity on this phone yet.
I really really hoped this gonna replace my Nexus 5 ( the >5 inch / 70cm width trend sucks - phones are just too big!) - but nooope..
I had it already in the hands, good that I didn't bought it. But I maybe would if someone would work on it
Once huawei releases kernel source I will start working on it.

Did they release those for previous phones too?
I figured since this is a snapdragon device the chance for roms will be much higher. Since they don't really release anything for their own chipsets iirc.

I think they released the kernel for many phones in the past..but you can also extract it from the stock firmware..so that shouldn't be a problem to build lineage for this device, but it takes time.. ?

any update guys? i'm hating EMUI
I've just read on lineageosrom.com that our Redmi Note 3 is getting LineageOS 15. This is great news and the site says it has been confirmed. I know that it isn't an official LineageOS site, but hopefully our beloved devs will start working on it as soon as the sourcecode is released.
You can find the original article here:
http://www.lineageosrom.com/2017/05/list-of-devices-getting-lineage-os-15--android-8.html?m=1
That's not official website. And getting LOS 15 for RN3 isn't surprising. What made you think it'll not get it
and here is lineage os official site https://www.lineageos.org/
