Anyone know how to build CM for the 6p (Angler) as of yet? I always like to fool around with new version of CM but I can't find any info at all about getting it to build for the 6p. Very surprised I haven't seen a build yet on a Nexus device.

The process would be no different than any other device.

Thanks for the update!
There's a new CM13 Nightlies Rom thread by nowy57 over in Development section...

I can't seem to find anyone who is working with this so I'm going to attempt to build the new 20.0.0
Any pointers people can throw my way would be appreciated as I have never built a rom before.
I've worked with java and C++ so I think I can pull this off. Gonna start by building and testing CM10.1 first before I attempt PACman.
Sounds good. Update us on how you go.

Well, it won't take a whole lot of work, I thought there was root box for the n7 (kinda like PAC man) but mabey that was the n4.
Just pull PAC man source tree, add grouper kernel and config files and build.

No offense, but you clearly weren't looking very hard. It's the seventh or so thread in the original development section.

The linked thread provides the link to the team's Goo.im account. If there's not a new build there for 4.3, then it doesn't exist yet on the team's official repos. Do your homework.
Find the latest info on the paranoid android g+ page.

The PA g+ page is more regularly updated than the xda page. It might be the case that most stable builds are posted on xda.

I have been running PA versions 3.91 and 3.94 without any problems on my 2012 N7. Works great! Some people have had issues but I think mostly because they haven't followed the directions. Check it out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1800268

The latest commit uploaded by cyanogenmod looks they are looking to support the new kernel source and bootloader so there's hope.

Not a clue mate I found this commit because it was being mentioned on the forums as being a potentially quite important one. Tbh the whole commit and branch system confuses me.

I bought a used Nexus 6P and it came with this build???
Seems fake to me... Baseband version is weird.
That's weird. March images aren't out afaik.

It's most likely a custom ROM of some sort, definitely not official.
From the navigation bar we can know it should be a rooted device or have been installed a custom rom definitely not a official rom
Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
Not trolling or fake guys. Stock AOSP has layers commits which is how I changed the nav bar. As for the rom being custom, I dunno. The guy I bought it from said he got the phone from his job. I never asked where he worked, but now it's apparent. Google?
Must be some sort of preview build... and AK is compatible with it? Wow.

No. I installed AK.
Pretty easy to make it say whatever you want by editing build prop.

Hmm. Well, nothing you can do about the build number until the March OTA shows up. I don't believe it would go backwards in lettering, To me, it looks like a build.prop edit.

gonna go with that
I would go back to stock flashing the latest directly from Google, then unlock the BL again and customize however you like. Only takes 20 minutes to go back to full latest stock and then you know where you're at.

He wouldn't need to unlock the bootloader again, flashing the factory images doesn't touch the bootloader.

Not so fast - you can't change the baseband version, at least as far as I know.

The OP seems pretty knowledgeable. Why ask where can it be found when it's already there on your phone? Post the image and let everyone see and/or develop it rather than making cryptic and somewhat exclusive posts about something that's already been modded and is therefore suspect.

Looks like MHC19J has a March factory image for the 5X but I do not see one (yet?) for the 6P. I'm sorry to say this but...you may just have early access to firmware updates.

Today, AOKP released their first Nougat build for our Shamu!
https://basketbuild.com/devs/aokp/shamu
EDIT: Was confirmed that it was a mistake and Nougat isn't yet being made for our shamu, false alarm.
Been soooo long since I've ran an AOKP build.

I always loved their roms! They kind of abandoned their website it seems (aokp.co) but their basketbuild and Google+ is very active!

Just tried to flash open gapps 7.1 to it, and it failed because the rom check says it's Marshmallow 6.0.1. not sure, haven't got to test it, anyone get it working?

It's still there, at the very bottom of the page. Guess it's not actually Nougat when you flash it though.
Confirmed is not a Nougat build. I posted on their G+ page and one of the devs said it was a mistake and removed it. He also said it's not being built "yet"

Figured I would blow the dust off this thread to say that it looks like some magic is happening.
http://xfer.aokp.co/?developer=AOKP&folder=shamu
With a size of '0.0 Mb', I guess the only magic happening is a bricked phone.
I LOVED Aokp ... all I ran on my N4 until they stopped..... I MAY try it... but I finally found a perfect stable ROM at the moment that has SMartBar. AOKP was the first one I found that I could edit Navigation bar .... can't have it any other way now.
