For the last couple of weeks I have noticed that the weather / temperature reading has been wrong.... I went into the settings and checked (see pic below) the appropriate box however still no update. I have even turned on the GPS and sync.
I have also noticed the rejected / missed calls (telemarketers) would attached one of my contact's picture to the number.... In the missed call log. Any one else having this issue

For mycase is little bit different with you, my weather can't show on lock screen.
But google around, and find a way, enable location, and then del all city line under weather app
then tap again the weather widget select the detected location, and i find the weather can show on lockscreen.
I wish this method can solve yours too.

Add a weather widget to the homescreen, click on it to see if it's the right location.

Actually no need to add a weather widget on lockscreen, enable it under
setting > lock screen > show information > weather (tick it) it will enable weather widget on your lockscreen.

But the widget never updates on its on.
Also must have GPS on and hit refresh for it to update to accurate temperature.

Lock Screen Text

Unfortunately it doesn't work on Sense UI:
Even if you ignore the warning and put your text in, nothing will ever show up on the lock screen.
Is there another app that does something similar and works with Sense UI?
I have Antivirus (free) installed from the Market. The programme includes a lock-screen text.

Just installed it.
I see a "Lost Message" but nowhere to put custom text on the DESIRE lock screen.
Just to clarify, do you have additional text on your DESIRE lock screen? (i.e. the leftmost picture in my signature)
First, I have to admit that I have enabled an unlock pattern (p. 195 English user manual). In Antivirus, push menu > settings > > Remote > FindeR and Remote > Lost Message: You can insert the text you wish (like your Arthur Dent details). The info is then visible on the unlock pattern screen, right between your leftmost screen and the home screen.
I too would like something like this, would be even better if could also show calendar events/appointments for the coming week

Ahhh, no wonder!
I don't use the unlock pattern so I never saw it.
I'm looking for a way to put text (my name etc) on the initial screen, when you turn on the phone (like the Contact Owner app shows).
Does anyone know of a way?

[Q] Cannot Change Galaxy S4 Lock Screen Wallpaper

I am just trying to change the lock screen wallpaper of my AT&T Galaxy S4 of MF3.
But there is just no way to use my own pictures. I've tried using systems settings menu and other gallery apps, but simply cannot find this function.
The way of using gallery app to set looks like missing, I can only choose from the stock ones.
In the system settings menu it's like this:
View attachment 2347965 View attachment 2347964
In gallery jb+ I can only set it to wallpaper:
View attachment 2347967 View attachment 2347966
I did a lot of search these days but cannot even find some one has the same problem as me.
I'm not using pattern or pin to unlock BTW.
Do I miss some simple steps to before setting? Or is there any walkaround possible to let my change it, like some plugins?
I just want change a lock screen wallpaper, can't believe can get stuck here.
Thanks.
And here is my phone system info.

[SOLVED][Q]Persistent AccuWeather on LockScreen??!!?

I'm on my Rooted SM-N900W8 running Official Samsung 4.4.2 with various mods and this one issue is the only problem I've had with it. When I changed the DPI in Build.Props from stock 480 to "phablet" 320 I noticed some times on the lock screen is the AccuWeather widget that won't go away, I can turn the display off and back on and its gone, some times its not. I have already AccuWeather from the device so I don't understand where this widget is coming from or how to disable it?

Figured it out, the AccuWeather is integrated into the stock Samsung Clock they have for the lock screen, when you pull down on the lock screen clock widget, it expands into the AccuWeather widget, the only way was to remove it from the lock screen and find a new clock widget. Found a cool skin for UCCW that I'm using now. Everything is perfect again.
In short, to anyone else who is having this problem, which when I was searching, is quite a few people, you can NOT get rid of it and use the stock clock at the same time, you need to go to Settings, under the Device tab, go down to Lock Screen, and activate the switch for Multi widgets.
From there you can go back to your lock screen, pull down on the clock, long press on the clock/accuweather widget, move it up to the trash can and delete it from the lock screen never looking back. then click the box with the plus in it to add a new widget to the lock screen.
If you're like me and simplicity is key, then once you have your one widget picked, go back to settings, device, lock screen, and turn Multi widgets back off and you will have a lock screen you can't slide side to side with the new widget you picked and no AccuWeather.
I guess the reason it was coming up now is because I have the DPI set so high it's finding there is more room to run AccuWeather widget as if it's already pulled down so this problem was always there. I just didn't notice it until I change my DPI.
I hope this helps anyone else who has this problem, I know there's a lot of people out there because I found more threads of people with problems and not one solution that works. Mine works, but you can't use the nice simple off set clock from Samsung anymore which is kind of a shame, but the UCCW skins have thousands of good ones that are close enough for me.

Can someone tell me how to make this dock? Is it Zooper?

I'd like to put a dock like this on my Galaxy Edge S7/

You can get it to look like that with Nova Launcher Beta. They have the setting to look like Pixel.

I have Nova Launcher Beta. The Pixel setting is for the Google bar I believe. I want my dock like the pic above (with the clock). Can I do that with NL?

Yes.
Pixel Launcher setup:
Drawer > Swipe to open
Drawer > Card Background > Off
Drawer > Background Color > White
Desktop > Indicators > Page Indicator > Line
Desktop > Indicators > Swipe to drawer indicator
Dock > Background > Rectangle, White, Transparent, behind navbar
Folder > Folder Background > N Preview
Here's how you do it.
Here's a picture of home screen currently.

Is that just a clock widget you put on the dock?
Yes, I'm using Nice Simple Clock. Any clock widget should work there, I just that one, since it allows me to resize it in there settings to match my theme.

How do you put the clock there? I followed your instructions but it won't let me put the clock widget there.
Nevermind. I got it...

Notifications and the music player don't show on my lock screen?

I would like to use my lock screen to check notifications directly and control the music player as I could on my old device. Is there a way to achieve that?
I am using BlackPlayer as my music player and I have allowed it to access my lock screen, but when I check it out, nothing has changed.
Any solutions would be appreciated. Thank you!
Edit: I figured it out about the notifications, but I still can't get the lockscreen to show Album Art. Anyone?
I'm 90% sure that ZenUI doesn't support custom music backgrounds. If that feature is critical to you, some third-party lock screens may support it.
Meh, third party lock screens want me to disable my fingerprints, so I guess that's that. Well at least I got the notifications right. Thanks for responding!
Yo @Blackrose110 go to config>lock screen and select NO the option skip the slide page. That's all, I'm using poweramp and Spotify with theirs lock screen widgets without any problem.

Hi, and thank you! It turns out that this is a new update to the app, so I turned it on and now my lock screen is the same as yours.
It's not what I usually had on my previous phone but it's good enough.
This was recently a beta feature: http://imgur.com/a/5QL1E
Have a nice day!
I can't able to get spotify or wynk music player on lock screen ...when the screen is locked and if i want to change the song again i should unlock my phone and should change the song.
