Hi,
while waiting for the Nexus 7 KitKat 4.4 OTA i found out that my Nexus 7 is still running JWR66V (rooted).
There has been a minor Update to JWR66Y, but my device never informed me about this. When I am checking the systems updates there is "nor update available".
I had installed FOTAkill.apk half a year ago, but i did remove it from /systems/app
Any idea how to get OTA back online again ?!
I just got a notification about a new update. About 122mb.
I won't proceed 'cause I'm afraid of loosing root.
Any further Infos about what's included?
Hi,
I have a Nexus 7 ME370T (Wi-Fi Model). I'm currently on 4.4.4 but if I check for updates the message is "System is Updated". No 5.0/5.0.1/5.0.2. OS is original and was never rooted. How can I get OTA updates (don't want to flash from factory images).
Thanks in advance
Stefano
I would stick with Kitkat for the time being until Google works out all the issues
wait!!

The Android 5.0 update for the Nexus 7 had loads of performance issues. So they stopped rolling it out.
Based on what I hear from the forums, Kitkat > Lolipop for N7.
Should I update the bootloader and radio on my Nexus 4 running stock Android or will OTA updates take care of that?
Ota updates take care of both.
Hello
I bought my Nexus 6p 3 days ago, and I immediately enrolled in the Android Beta Program to get the latest version of Android via OTA. It has been 3 days since I enrolled and I'm not getting the OTA update, and I don't wanna flash the factory image on my device cause I don't want to void my warranty. I'm not even getting the public Android 7.0 Nougat, my phone is currently on Android 6.0.1 and I constantly checking the update through settings-About device- Updates and nothing.
Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

You need to be on DP1. If you are on 7.0 stable, you won't get it
