works nice but:
- google search has to be installed manually (look for 4.0.xxxxxx version)
- if calendar problems, needs to be wiped cache via CWM again (it helped to me)

Mirror? Will mirror the rom when finished downloading. Just takes alot of time...

I guess that works, thank you anyway.

Hmmm. The rom works flawlessly, apart from Bluetooth audio. Music plays in slow motion and off-key, with stuttering.
I tried fixing it myself, but I absolutely don't know what I'm doing. I tried replacing all libaudio.so's with the ones from a working CM11 rom, but that only caused a bootloop
Does anyone know where to find the original author's (Ivan) thread? I really can't wait for the next update...

PurgatoryICSAndroid_4.0.4

I just found this ICS rom, and it seems as good as all others found here.
So far, it suffer from the same wifi battery problem. With wifi on, the battery last 7h 55m.
It has several languages installed, and I am using portuguese.
Download it here: http://www.mediafire.com/?30u4e55824rodgs
You can find the forum that I found here: http://www.microsofttranslator.com/...tp://forum.donanimhaber.com/m_71249706/tm.htm
I didn't like the launcher that comes with it, so I install this one ( TouchWiz SGS3 for all device ) and it is working fine:

How's the Wi-Fi on off toggle problem? Does it still reboot when we turn on the toggle?
Do I need to make memory repartition?

Looking at the system picture: this kernel looks a bit older than the kernel of JokerRom (gc95 vs. gc98).

strange, must be a typo on my side. I don't use Karma right now, so I can't check anymore. Mainreason for not usig is I didn't like the icon-set. I had also a feeling that reconnecting is a bit slower than my aurora version.

1. I consider it stable for daily use. No reboots, no FC, everything is working (at my phone at least): wifi, mail, gps, etc.
2. Dunno how to find out.
Hi,
I discover, in the forum posted in the first thread, a link to the autor's blog (I think!??) http://www.microsofttranslator.com/...3/01/huawei-ideos-x5-u8800-purgatory-rom.html and in the blog are a diferent link to the ROM, maybe new version, not sure! (http://www.mediafire.com/?92n9d3b6kh9dt48)
Even with the translator is difficult to me to understand Turkish and information about this ROM is too low!
Is it possible without install the ROM know which one is the newest?
EDIT: The files inside the .zip in the ICS.zip (this one) are newest so i presume that this one is a new version! But i do not know if it is stab!le or not

Sorry for the interruption. I cleaned up the thread and removed a lot of off topic posts. It is often permissible for there to be a little bit of off topic chatter in a Development thread, but there shouldn't be 2 pages of it. It is especially important to get back on topic when the OP requests it - and he did!

[ZIP FLASH] Bypass And Unlock Any Android Lock Screen

My idea is to replace the lock screen data with an empty null data
and the phone will be restored to basic slide to unlock
and from here, you can access your phone and insert new password or pin or pattern...etc
without format or modify any data "settings, media, apps, Rom data ..etc"
So what is it ?
It's a zip file that bypass any unlock screen
-Pattern
-Pin
-Password
-Face
How
Just flash it with CWM
[BACKUP FIRST]
Why to use it?
So you forgot you pass? no need for format..
just download it on external SD-Card then flash it CWM
Happy bypass guys :good:-

This is good. I ever tried bypassing pattern by removing something from /data/system, it works. But as I remember it won't work for all roms (as I can't seem to bypass some AOSP based roms)
Nice
Nice idea. Does this work on Stock only or also AOSP ROMs? Don't they have different paths?

Can this also be used to overcome the lock screen pin/pwd requirement of Androids stock encryption?

I used K5. First I flashed franco and got system ui crashes. I went to recovery and flashed k5 and got the same thing. I reflashed the rom and the ui crashes went away. I figured it was the kernels doing that because people were reporting similar behaviors with other kernels on g+

Do not update software. Might brick. If you accidentally updated software. Use fastboot to flash stock zui rom.

The battery backup is around 5hrs+ sot. Similar to miui. I cannot post sgsi if i haven't tried it, and i dont think i am gonna try oneplus port anytime soon. But most sgsi's follow similar procedures to install.

Nice ??
wallpaper back to default every restart
Installation instruction tells us to use narshi shuckls's ROM for Vendor. Narshi shuckla has used moxie kernel. But in your screenshot shows prototype kernel. Did you use any other ROM as treble base or is the screeshots are from another device?
