gprs network problem

Hey everyone!
Not long ago i bought this htc touch 2
But once in a while i get these network problems. Sometimes, it just cuts off after turning phone off and on. Sometimes it just says i have network, but no one can call in, or send sms. have tried this:
- turning off 3g
- reset the phone with two methods (back to factory settings, and just ordinary default settings reset)
- "restarted phoneoperating settings"
- tried two different sim cards
- searched for phone network, but phone says "cant register on chosen network etc."
looked around in phone settings, changing all sorts of things, but aint getting anywhere. getting furious!!
another thing, have tried to switch between gsm, and wcdma
All these changes seemes to work SOMETIMES...after the network disconnects again, i have to use some other settings. It doesn't work with just one simple setting....
soooo...anyone uptil now who have had these problem yet?its a bit frustrating to have a phone u cant use...as a phone...still cant ring or send msg.....

connection can not be realized

For several days I have a problem in the sense that one of the people can not connect to my phone. After dialing you receive a message that the connection can not be realized.
I do not use any program from the "black list ". After inserting the card into another phone it works. As you can see the problem is in the X5. I tried to upload other dialers, removed and re-entered the contact, however, is still on the phone the caller's message appears. Does anyone know what could cause this situation?
What connection? data? calls? computer?
You mention sdcard and a bunch of stuff but you need to let us know WHAT connection you cant initialize.
Problem solved. In the menu / connection settings tab, however, is the black list (I did not know). I do not know how it happened, but one of the contacts on it went.

Phone not reachable issue

Hi All,
I have been facing a strange issue with my Yureka.
Many of my friends and clients are complaining me that your phone is not reachable. To test this, I dialed my number from another phone and found they are right. Sometime it says, phone not reachable and sometime it doesn't say anything... just ... ping... ping.. ping and gone. Not even any message. I can see full network signals.
This has become now very annoying.
In last 1 hour, I have tried my phone 10 times and got connected only 2 times.. rest of the times either it doesn't say anything or says, not reachable.
Any ideas what could be wrong?
p.s. A little more info... while phone is not reachable, I can see full network and my 3G is also working fine.
which Rom installed on ur phone? & did u try calling to both sims?
Thanks for your reply ujilraj.
I am on stock CM12 ROM
I have no issues in outgoing calls. Issue is when someone is calling me.
They get phone unreachable message or nothing at all.
Today I tested myself and saw the same.
Earlier, I thought it might be some network related issues but it seems something else... may be hardware issue but not sure, therefore, asking for community help
Do u use dual sim? & did u set the network to automatically choose network? (settings > mobile networks> network operators> choose automatically). Also, Is ur preferred network type set on LTE? if yes, then change it to 3G or 2G...

Galaxy S5 G900P mobile data connectivity issue

Greetings, friends!
I seem to be having an issue with my Galaxy S5. Many times when I receive a message (via WhatsApp or Snapchat for example)
my phone does not show any notifications. However, when I open the app manually, it recalls to use it's mobile data and only then,
when the app is running, I receive all of the notifications I haven't received yet.
This does not happen when my phone is connected to my house WiFi. My phone can receive data from my mobile network,
and my data is always turned on, but for some reason it's shut down for most of the apps (if not all of them) unless the app
is running (not in background).
I have tested this without power saver mode and app power saver, same result.
Is there any way I can get my phone to enable mobile data at all times?
So I'll be able to get the notification the second someone sends me a message.
Things worth mentioning:
Phone model: SM-G900P, unrooted.
Firmware: Sam Mobile's stock Sprint (G900PVPU3CPCA)
Hardware version: G900P.04
Android version: 6.0.1 (Marshmallow)
Baseband version: same as firmware.
Kernel version: 3.4.0-7603580
[email protected] #1
Build number: MMB29M.G900PVPU3CPCA
My device was bought in Europe (in Russia), but I use it in western side of the middle east.
That means I cannot activate my device via my network (using the hands free activation).
Whenever I restart my device, the "activating your device..." notification pops out.
It retries 5 times finally it opens the "Activate this device" app (from settings) and it says
the activation was not successful and that I should contact costumer support.
I have already set up my network's APN with their provided settings and it is the one
I currently use. I tried changing the APN type to " "(empty), "default", "internet" but it doesn't help.
My carrier provides a 3G network. The phone always has some bars and it shows the 3G sign in the
network icon in the status bar.
My network mode is set to Automatic (although I've tried all of the others and it didn't fix it).
I don't have a roaming option at all... ?
I can use my phone properly to make phone calls in an average quality.
This problem started only AFTER updating to marshmallow using Sam Mobile's firmware (via odin).
Resetting my cache partition did not solve this problem.
I will contact my carrier and ask them, but I'm pretty sure it's something in the new firmware that prevents
mobile data without forced usage (or is unable to connect unless a request is forcing it to change network type).
Any help will be much appreciated!
Update: Even when my phone is connected to my home WiFi, it won't show the notifications before I open WhatsApp.
Could it be a firmware issue?
I am also having massive problems with the APN after flashing my G900P with ANY custom rom. Have yet to find a fix for this.

Googlefi - phone not showing network it's registered on

Hi,
I have noticed the following: if I put an active googlefi sim card in any android phone, it will show me the actual network the phone is registered on. However, if this phone has ever had the googlefi app installed (even if subsequently uninstalled) the network name that is shown is always "googlefi". What does the googlefi app change in the android settings? Other than a full reset, what can I reset to get the phone to show the name of the network it's registered on instead of "googlefi"?
Many thanks to whoever has a clue!
