Now I want to know why my GOOGLE PLAY store doesn't want to update...It is still the old icon and UI?
Thank you

It will eventually update to the new version as soon as all other android devices get updated. Seems like your device got shoved to the back of the line. Try clearing Play Store data and cache to force the update.
This same thing happened to me. Ignored it for a few hours then bam i had it after i forgot about it lol so i wouldnt worry

Is there any way to flash back to a uk stock ics rom on my TF101 ?
I have tried flashing a WW ICS stock rom but the market seems to detect it as being foreign . I just want to get a few uk only apps working again but have so far been unable to do so , HELP !! lol
A couple of things come to mind... Market Unlocker might be worth a try (on Android market), but it could be more simple than that. I also had an issue with my market showing US currency and I used a very simple market app to update my location settings (changing it in the device settings didn't work) although I'm still trying to track down the name of it for you.
I'm fairly new to all of this but I'm fairly sure that we are in the WW region here in the UK so there isn't a UK-specific ROM.
I got the apps i needed working by turning off all location functions and installing without using the market . Its a little strange that, despite flashing stock WW_ICS and all the prices being in pounds sterling , im still unable to find a number of apps which were there before installing revolver 4 .
Weird. Just an idea? Could it be that the apps you are looking for aren't compatible with ICS?

They still showed in the market when I got the OTA update , was only after flashing revolver 4 and then reverting back to stock that they disappeared .
Never mind though as i have everything i need working now .
I recently rooted my Note and now I'm using Rocket Rom v22.
When I open the Samsung Apps store, it keeps telling me I need to update. After accepting the update, Samsung Apps doesn't install the update.
Had the same problem. Installed the STOCK ROM and I am all set now
Works fine on checkrom

Exactly the same problem. Clearly there is a problem with the app working on the Rocket Rom.
I am not going to change my ROM just to get this working but it sure is frustrating. Hoping there is an update to flash at some point.
Hello everyone,
I seem to have a strange problem with Chrome all of a sudden. I am on stock rooted 4.3.2 and most I do with my ROM is to integrate updated apps into it, other than that, no customizations, etc. When I try to run Chrome, I get a message that Chrome couldn't be run, that either it is not installed properly or that some component is missing. I might have integrated Chrome update into the ROM - but I've done that several times until now and had no problems whatsoever....
What is the easiest way to solve this? I'd hate to have to flash the stock rom, thus lose all my apps/data - because I don't have enought space left on internal storage to make titanium backup
Can I uninstall Chrome (system app?) and then try to install from Play and make it a System app from Titanium?
Thanx
D.
SOLVED!
It didn't want Chrome to be System app. By making it User app, it started working again. Strange, I'm pretty sure it was a system app...

Ok! Got it to work by chance.
Installed black star x Rom (by bigfau)
Installed flapjaxxx h0tcakez 3.0.2 kernel
Fresh install LiveView manager
Installed live view fixer (worked)
And just for the heck of it tried fb and it worked!
i717 running Black ★ Star X w/ h0tcakez 3.0.2
I did nothing and tried Facebook and it worked. Thanks for the heads up. I never would have tried again! Facebook must have fixed something.
Got one recently and it worked fresh out of the box, on both my stock rom and when i came to custom.

Yeah facebook changed stuff and it hasn't been an issue since. I do reccomend buying super fixer. It helps with the reconnect issues. I want to buy a newer model smartwatch but I'm waiting to see what samsungs putting out next month.

I upgraded my Cyanogenmod Rom, and when I got back, everything was still there, just updated. So, are there any apps I have to update, like the Google Apps?
Newbie to upgrading. Thanks.

Use the gapps that match your ROM, period. If you need to update them, do it.
