HMA does not work - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

as title says I cannot make VPN work. I tried its app and manual setup. I have subscription to it. I have unrooted stock rom. Can anyone help me?
It was working on my cyanogen modded note 1.

Not had any problems setting up a VPN. I take it you have setup your lock screen.
If they have the Open VPN files try https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.blinkt.openvpn
You don't need a lock screen password setup with that.

Maybe your device needs to be registered with HMA to be able to log in, or you already have another device logged in.
Personally I use Hide.Me, they allow multiple devices to be logged in using different credentials. And unlike HMA, they do not keep any records of your activity.

Unlock Code Changed (BSB Tweaks Prob)

Okay, my HD2 yesterday forgot my unlock passcode, I have not installed any version of sype, and running 1.66 WWE stock Rom. My Exchange Server security policies forces a passcode.
What i have found (tested) is that an option in BsB Tweaks is causing the problem.
The option that is causing this (or at least for me) is 'Owner Information - show or hide owner in settings'
When enabled, with the show notes, your Owner information and notes are displayed when you wake the phone (before slide to unlock) I wanted this option because it gives you a slightly better chance of recovering your phone if it gets lost.
It works well initially, then for some reason it fails to show, restart the phone and BANG, your passcode wont work!! I have experimented this and it happens every time.
Thought I'd let you all know my findings, and hopefully this bug can be ironed out.
regards
Paul
I've tested it some more today, and I'm pretty sure that it is the Owner info. Going to leave it off now, but would definitely want this feature fixed As i said before it does give me a slightly better chance in getting it back if it gets lost!
Have you tried using the Recovery Password from the Outlook Web Access for your exchange server?
It's not the Exchange password that gets forgotten, it the unlock code for the phone!!! You just cant unlock the phone, hard re-set is the only option!!
Its a know problem for some people that install sype! Same thing your passcode just will not work

You can use the EMC, the Shell, or Microsoft Office Outlook Web App to recover a device password.
You can require a device password through Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync policies. A user can configure a device password even if your Exchange ActiveSync policies don't require one. If users forget their password, you can obtain a recovery password using the EMC or the Shell. The recovery password unlocks the device and lets the user create a new password. Users can also recover their device passwords by using Outlook Web App.

Chrome kept asking for my account password

On both my Nexus 7 and Galaxy Nexus, the Chrome browser kept asking for my password. I have 2-step verification setup. I tried using the generated application specific code and it didn't work. I tried my normal password, that didn't work either. I also tried the code generated by the authentication app and still no luck. I figured I must have overlooked something very simple but can't think of what. Hope you guys can help.

Google Apps on a Nook: Two-factor-authentication forces me to re-login. Login fails?

Hey Nookers,
I just noticed that I was logged out from the Google Apps on my Nook Simple Touch GlowLight, maybe due to the switch to using Google's 2-factor authentication.
When I tried to login again it doesn't accept my password. (Yes, 100% correct )
This happened on other devices as well, but then a button appeared that allowed me to use the "browser-based login". Not on the Nook
How can I login, with 2-factor authentication active?
Thanks in advance
Create an app-specific password and use that.

Any way to modify fingerprint web login passwords

All banking websites makes the passwords longer (as number of dot increases) on pressing the login button. After login the fingerprint scanner most probably saves that long password. Therefore fingerprint login to these sites are not successful on majority of occasions. Just wondering is there a way to modify that saved passwords in a rooted phone. Does anyone have any clue?

thankss
for me it auto changes , i had a password for my bank account that i had to change .
After first failed login , I entered the new password manually then it auto recognized it and how i use fingerprint and it gets the new password automatically
yes after failed login it remembers the manually entered pw so next time it auto logins. But the problem is the banking site always add extra characters to pw and the fingerprint scanner remembers that. So the next attempt will fail. I am feeling like a third party app is the only answer.

I use something called LastPass
Whiles its not Free and its a Cost per month, It has Fingerprint reader in the App.
And it overlays all applications.
SO if i go to my Banking app, Lastpass asks for my fingerprint to auto populate username and password.
This works for all Apps and Browsers (So far)

I have an issue, whenever I'm trying to setup the intune company portal, it keeps telling me that I need to set a pin code although I'm set with a pin code but there is no way to secure startup
What's "intune company portal"?
it's an app used to securely access work related outlook etc. It works fine on all my devices.

Maybe it has something to do with encryption? Contact the developers or just try encrypting the phone
I'm on stock and phone is encrypted
