I have a Note 4/N910G and an old (and great) Note 3.
In the Note 3 Contacts app when you are adding a contact there is an option to directly scan a business card. For me this has worked very well, most of the time.
On the Note 4 the Contacts app does not appear to include this feature. Have looked through most of the Settings options and cannot find it. Has anyone seen this feature?
There is an app in the Samsung App store called SnapBizCard. It works similarly, but is a separate app and frankly isn't as polished as the in-app feature for the Note 3. It doesn't square up the image and doesn't seem to do as good a job with text recognition.
All ideas most welcome. I can install the Note 3 Contacts app on the Note 4 if needed, but, sigh...
I too miss the app

Has anyone found an easy way to get S-notes from a Note 2 to a Note 3? Evernote sync is the only way I've found so far but it's a pain.
Sync through your Samsung aco****. It takes a minute and mine failed a couple of times before it succeeded

That doesn't work if you have a VZW Note 2 with stock software. VZW borked the ability to sync the Samsung Account a while back.
How did you sync it to Evernote?
Does anyone know how to move the templates? Like to do the math formula's?

There is an sync option under setting and it lists Google docs and Evernote. It does work but you have to convert each note one at a time.

I got so pissed I just redid all of them from my N2 which was a huge PITA......
download Samsung Smart Switch Mobile from play store. if you still have both old and new phones.
I can find nothing on the ir blaster. I am using the Samsung Verizon Note 3. This is supposed to be a feature of the phone. Did Version block it out am I just not finding it?

Look for an app, perhaps in the Samsung folder called WatchON?
Yes, WatchOn is the stock app for using the IR Blaster. After setup it will let you control your devices with a remote icon in the top right corner of the screen.
If you look up top your phone and see a little black dot in the right side you have the ir blaster but I wouldn't recommend the watch on app, look up for the Smart IT Remote Samsung/HTC app on the play store it's just worth it, i have configured more than ten controls and controls like my DISH one aren't supported by the watch on app

Great advice, Thank you.
I couldn't find it because I disabled watch on when I first got my phone because I didn't know what it was. Next time I won't be so stupid.

Yea, you need to use WatchON or a different app.
I ditched WatchON, as it kept running even if I didnt use it. (also, the puns were starting to become too irritating.)
Plus it only works for tv, and the media guide only works in the US. Where at least 750 million of us are not.
Swapped it for this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.remotefairy
This controls everything with an IR reciever, even my DSLR and the lights.

I've got question for note 3 owners who use evernote and s-note.
I've read that note 3 has some really great features as far as s-note and evernote integration goes such as s-note note preview in evernote or s-pen hover preview of the note in evernote.
I would like to know whether these features keep working after the update of the evernote app. It would be shame if it stopped working, as it happened with youtube and scrapbooker integration.
Thanks,
Lucas
I use these heavily, and love them. It all works fine with the latest app update.
Thank you. That's great.
Another thing crossed my mind.
Is it possible to search through all evernote notes using s-finder or only the ones that were created using s-note?

You can set S-Finder so it also searches Evernote. I just checked. I also did a search and S-Finder also pulled up results from Evernote. So for your question: Yes S-Finder finds notes you created on the phone as well as the Evernote database.
Thank you very much. That resolves my doubts. Now I'm sure it is worth to jump from s4 to note 3

I knew it would save to Evernote but I can't figure out how to get it to see other things in the database

Hi,
I have a friend with a Russian note II and access to Russian Samsung store. He showed me a free new S-Note app upgrade for his note II available on that store. When I am trying to open the same app (by shared link) on my Canadian Samsung App store it says that this product is not available in this store. I also tried to register with different accounts, got the same result.
Is there any way to get new S-Note on my Note II without rooting device? I own a new Note 10.1 2014 and I want to have synchronization.
And rhetoric question, why we don't have new S-Note in Samsung App Store?
You can get it on the Samsung app store.

My Samsung Apps doesn't show it...
Mine too...
Well, I got a link for a working new S-Note downloaded from Samsung Apps. It is little bit suspicious. I checked it with AVG and it looks fine.
Here is link to the S-Note at Samsung Apps, which is not working for me.
Not work in my device...

Have you upgraded to 4.3?
Nope
I hope that there will be a way to SNote work on 4.1.2. I go to 4.3 only when Neak kernel will work
I guess that is another way to boost the sound on the headphones ?
Is there anyway to get these apps on Extreme Syndicates v4 ROM? I use a galaxy gear 2 and I have a a lot items in the memos app that I need for work. I would love to have these back on my phone.

Do a search for "apk" and the name of the item you're looking for. I've seen both.
I have but neither one will open?
