Hi,
I have a friend with a Russian note II and access to Russian Samsung store. He showed me a free new S-Note app upgrade for his note II available on that store. When I am trying to open the same app (by shared link) on my Canadian Samsung App store it says that this product is not available in this store. I also tried to register with different accounts, got the same result.
Is there any way to get new S-Note on my Note II without rooting device? I own a new Note 10.1 2014 and I want to have synchronization.
And rhetoric question, why we don't have new S-Note in Samsung App Store?

Well, I got a link for a working new S-Note downloaded from Samsung Apps. It is little bit suspicious. I checked it with AVG and it looks fine.

I hope that there will be a way to SNote work on 4.1.2. I go to 4.3 only when Neak kernel will work

I don't have the "samsung Apps" app. I am rooted I even did a factory refresh. Can I downloaded it? Could not find on Samsung site. Thanks.

Unless there's some hidden features that I don't know about, I would say the Samsung App" app is pretty useless. It shows some pretty lame looking apps that you can easily find on Android market. Don't worry, you're not missing anything.

I have just recieved my update today morning and here it is the screen shot , but strange thing is that the multiwindow button is still at the top and I dont know yet if it have the security patch (exynos abuse says it is exploitable but i cant root it with the app)

So it is - downloading now. No auto notification, but checking manually for the OTA worked.
Doesn't seem to be available to N8010 yet - I live in hope it will come soon.
The problem is that i cant root my note anymore
One new feature - the input mode can now be auto-switched to handwriting when the pen is removed. This exists on my Note 2 but couldn't find it on the 10.1 previously.

Instal on Tab from other Region
Hi all,
I have a galaxy note with details as below and was wondering if I could install this on it. I Installed Jb from another region on my UK purchased Tab 2 and it works just fine.
Any advice will be appreciated.

Yes you can install this on your rom with odin but change csc to btu so you can recieve ota updates

What I have found so far
From 4.1 to 4.2
So far I have found:
Bugfix for Facebook not showing on stock browser
Chrome, Gmail, Facebook, YouTube and more added to the multiwindow bar
Fixed crash for Samsung keyboard as well as improvements such as a tab to move the floating keyboard.
Smoother scrolling
S Note is improved, with no loss of high res photos when put in, Bugfix for knowledge search so it doesn't just take you to Google and the Idea Sketch function from the Note 2 is now integrated.
Still exploring.

Just to be pedantic - it's 4.1.1 to 4.1.2 - the jump to 4.2 (when it comes) will be more extensive. I hope.

Does it work on AOSP ROMs?
ive tried to use on cm10 but infared doesnt seem to work, the rest of the app seems to work. says incompatible in play store.
I'm also running CM10.1 and have the same problem. The app works just as it did on TouchWiz however the remote functionality doesn't seem to work. I am also getting the incompatible message on Google Play.
Let me know if someone gets this working I'd love to use this feature on CyanogenMod! :fingers-crossed:
the cm10.1 doesnt seem to include the samsung framework, so that the ir blaster doesnt work

Cannot download if we are not using Galaxy S4, I want to install on S3 and Note 2 although the TV IR feature cannot be use, TV schedule guide working is more than enough as it really useful.

Can't you use the APK and install it in that case if you're not going to use the IR functionality? I have extracted the APK and you can download it from here: http://www.mediafire.com/?oqe87okco466s9i
I've tried it running on my Galaxy S4 with CM10.1 so I don't see why it wouldn't work on other phones just as a TV guide, as I said before only thing that doesn't work is the IR blaster.

So guys I just got my Galaxy Gear and so far everything seems like working. The only thing missing is some application from the app store.
Where is speaker on that watch
When we talk through it it shud have a speaker for the one listening not like loud speaker

Having everything stock. S4 with 4.2.2 Android, 32LTE international unlocked.
Downloaded Gear Manager directly from Google Play, and everything works with the Gear just fine. From display control to syncing, data transferring, notifications etc... All apps within Gear App Store also available to download. Not too great selection just yet, but my hopes that the XDA community will introduce some new, cool stuff, once the Gear is widely available.

Which 4.3 ROM did you use on the Note 2 that works w galaxy gear. I have paranoid android 3.9 but there are issues. Would really like to get them working.
I have the leaked 4.3 on my Note2, but the only thing that works on the Gear-watch is incomming calls. No watchfaces or apps work.

Download 4.3 and just install a Galaxy Gear APP, and the watch works very fine!!!

Did latest update installed that app on others models like it did on Tmobile USA Note4. GT Ignite automatically installs: cookie jam, drippler and retail me not without user interaction. GT Ignite can not be uninstalled, only disabled.

I couldnt find it either until I ininstalled those 3 unneeded apps and it appeared with option to disable it.
