Hey guys, i received my G2 (european version) yesterday and i noticed that there is an annoying noise in left ear when listening to music;
I googled a lot but every fix was really complicate for me and those threads were posted in march/april. Now that we're in october, is there an easiest way to fix this? I can't stand this noise, i'm afraid i'll have to give it back if i don't find a solution...
Sorry for my english and thanks for the help

I know this is a strange problem and people generally complain of the contrary, but even with the volume at the minimum I find the sound too loud when I'm in a conversation, anyone notice that ? Any fix ?
Running the Orange ROM.
try not removing the wax from your ears for a few days ahah
really, I don't have problems with that ...
Yes, I've noticed the same thing but haven't bothered to look for a solution.. yet
Hello , i flashed cm11 on my lg g2, the rom is perfect, im only having troubles with the speakers on this rom ... its impossible to listen to any music style with volume over 50%, the sound comes out extremely distorted , blown up and saturated... it happens on any volume but if becomes more evident with 50% or more... Anyone is having the same trouble ? is there any, patch ,any fix , or something to fix this sound? its really painful to hear anything and seems to damage the speaker...

same here on two different d802
I was wondering if anybody else had a speaker distortion issue with the g2 at 80-100% volume. I noticed after playing the song Right Now by Rihanna, her vocals sounded horrid, the middle frequency sounds from 875-3000hz seem distorted, does anybody have a fix. And are you satisfied with the speaker on the phone?

there are mods out there that address the speaker issues with the G2, search within the G2 forum to locate one of your choice.
here's a thread to get you started.

Hi everyone,
I have been experiencing a lot of crackling when on phonecalls, it turns into a high pitched kind of screeching sound. When I use my headset I experience the same issue. It is possible to hear this when playing videos as well.
I haven't done much testing with the loud speaker, but haven't noticed it then.
I'm wondering if anyone has experienced a similar problem.
Am I dealing with a faulty front speaker unit? Does that even have any affect on the headset jack?
Or am I dealing with some kind of faulty soundchip ?
Any possible solutions?
Thank you.
Hey guys, my 6p has countered a problem where the speaker does not work, I cannot make calls and the headphones do not work as well.
I wanted to know if i replace the earpiece, the speakers and the headphone jack will this fix the problem? I reckon there are a couple of hardware experts that can help me out.
Thank you
If you have seen this around, its because i posted this on reddit as well. Hope XDA can come to the rescue
