Did you buy a Nexus One? Have you received your shipping notification yet?
I bought mine right off the bat, already been charged, all has gone through successful, yet no shipping notification. People who ordered after me have gotten it though. Why?
I'm trying to figure out what the pattern is, so I'd like a little help. If you bought, could you post:

I got my notification at about midnight last night, I ordered it around noon. Got my phone call from FedEx this morning saying I have a package coming this morning.

Yep, check Google Checkout. My tracking number was there, but I didn't receive an e-mail.

I've been checking Checkout every hour or so, not updated at all =/ Hoping it's just an error, since I know a few people who got shipped but it took hours to update the checkout page.
I got shipping confirmation but the order has not been picked up by fedex yet.. but still it shows i will be getting it on jan 6 by 3pm.. i don't know how..

i just got my shipping notification, however it will arrive tomorrow by 4:30pm...i had to cancel my initial order which i placed at 1:30pm yesterday...i reordered the phone last night at about 10pm est
Ordered yesterday at 10:59am PST. They finally shipped and gave me a tracking number this morning -- so it won't be here until TOMORROW.
I had one original order at 10:43am PST which I had cancelled.
I ordered mine at Order date: Jan 5, 2010 1:01 PM CST.
I just got a tracking email about two hours ago as well as an automated call from FedEx about one hour ago stating the package is to be delivered by 3:00pm CST.
I ordered mine at 11:47am PST on the 5th, it's now 7:33am on the 6th and no shipping update. My status page also still says that it's Not Yet Shipped. Rats.
In AZ, ordered at 1630 yesterday and received confirmation at 0530 today. Should arrive on the 7th (tomorrow). No engraving.

Got an email at 545 today saying it will be here tomorrow "Jan 7, 2010 by 3:00 PM" That's 480 miles in two days...
Apparently, when Google says "overnight" shipping, they mean it - they just don't tell you which night...
Edit: I just got the automated call from FedUp saying it will be delivered tomorrow by 1500.

Im planning on buying a nexus 1 asap, but im leaving this weekend to go out of town? I was wondering how long it would take to get to my house if u ordered it today? I know that the site says overnight? can anyone confirm that if i order it today (sunday) that it will arrive before the weekend?

Thursday evening, you can check the status of your order in the email they send you.
Ordered Tuesday night.
First attempted delivery = Thursday 2:07pm.
So 48 hours.
If I order mine tonight will I receive the phone by Tuesday? I live in Chicago.
I can confirm that, If you buy it on Sunday, you'll get it by tuesday...
I ordered my phone on a Sunday night. Fedex got to my door by 1pm on tuesday.
Also about 48 hours for mine to arrive.
Free overnight shipping - ordered on the 5th, received on the 7th THE MINUTE the fed-ex place opened, hah.
It took me about 18 hours from the time I ordered it to the time I had it in hand. I called my local FedEx office and had them hold the package rather than letting the delivery driver drive it around until 2:59pm (their commit time.)

The entire point of this thread is to exaggerate the woes of waiting for something to be shipped. These are on every devices' forum when they're released. Obviously "limbo" is complete and total hyperbole.
I ordered mine at 10pm in UK b/c I ordered past their cut off time for next day delivery I have to wait until Friday and its killing Me.

What provider? I ordered mine from AT&T yesterday afternoon and so far no update at all on shipping
I ordered a dev edition pretty close to launch time...chose overnight shipping. Called HTC for eta and they said it is on backorder until 4/3 but my status online says I'll get it 3/26. Well, today's 3/26 and now says estimate delivery 3/27. Weird..
I heard from another person who ordered around same time and the same model that HTC will ship starting Thursday (tomorrow) based on time of order.
Guess we'll see... fingers crossed!

Yeah, it's 11 PM here and I haven't gotten a shipping notification for my Dev Edition. I seriously doubt I'll actually get it tomorrow, but one can hope.

I also ordered from Coolblue, with vodafone extension. I hope it will be delivered next saturday.
Their site says this:

I gave them a call on Monday before I placed a pre-order. According to the guy on the phone, they'll place a hold for the amount with the credit card. The money will only be deducted once the item has been shipped out.
They are sending packages today for shipping tomorrow in UK. Tomorrow will send packaes to international customer, shipping in 1/5 days depending the country you live.
I hope I can get it on Friday to test it this weekend (I'm Spanish).
Still hoping for a Thursday ship and saturday delivery to the US myself. I chose 2 day fedex shipping.

You can check transit time here: https://www.fedex.com/ratefinder/home?cc=US
FedEx won't delivery on Saturday unless the shipper specifically requests it (and pays the additional fee), but according to the FedEx site a package shipped Priority from the UK on the 25th will be delivered on the 26th by 10:30am. (I'm in the midwest.)

Handtec now updated their website showing all 3 colours they carry are now in stock! However, my order is still at processing stage.
From past experience, once the phone is shipped, the order will show as complete and an email will be send out.

I think that's what all of us are afraid of: Amazon not receiving stock day 1. FYI, Google Play store is still showing the Nexus 9 as shipping on the 3rd. The obvious (big) difference is shipping: $3.99 vs $18.99 for next day delivery.

I feel the same as @danlo. I think I will wait until I hear back fro Amazon CSR Christopher. I have been a prime member since it started and I order a lot through Amazon so hopefully that will cause them to get back to me on what is really going on and if there is a delay, how long. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
Everyone email Amazon about this. Maybe one of us will get a proper response.

I'm in Georgia. HTC e-commerce store activities are handled by an intermediary called Digital River, Inc. (DRI) who (according to their site) also handle e-commerce stores in the US for Samsug, Lenovo, Logitech, Adobe, Microsoft among many other well-know consumer tech brands (did a very brief info search). So most likely DRI doesn't have physical presence in my state, for which I got tax exempted (unlike Amazon that now collects taxes here).
This is just a standard reply they send out for pre-orders. After a set number of days passes and an item has not shipped the system sends out an email. Same thing happened to me months ahead of my PS4 shipping. If you check your order status you will see it is still set to ship on Nov. 3rd.

Glad to see that you got that message. So if there are not going to be delays win Amazon, why the "#$%"# did they have to send that e-mail alerting that "as of now we don't have a delivery date"? What's the deal with that?
(I guess I have to say that this pushed me to change stores which allowed me to save the tax charge, so at least something good came out of this mess for me)
