I gave them a call on Monday before I placed a pre-order. According to the guy on the phone, they'll place a hold for the amount with the credit card. The money will only be deducted once the item has been shipped out.
They are sending packages today for shipping tomorrow in UK. Tomorrow will send packaes to international customer, shipping in 1/5 days depending the country you live.
I hope I can get it on Friday to test it this weekend (I'm Spanish).
Still hoping for a Thursday ship and saturday delivery to the US myself. I chose 2 day fedex shipping.

FedEx won't delivery on Saturday unless the shipper specifically requests it (and pays the additional fee), but according to the FedEx site a package shipped Priority from the UK on the 25th will be delivered on the 26th by 10:30am. (I'm in the midwest.)

Thanks. As for saturday delivery, if its in Houston I will go pick it up myself!
Handtec now updated their website showing all 3 colours they carry are now in stock! However, my order is still at processing stage.
From past experience, once the phone is shipped, the order will show as complete and an email will be send out.

I'm just so excited. 2 day shipping can be weird... when should I expect it?
Normally 2 business days when it ships. Ordering != Shipping. You can order it say on Monday and it might not ship until Wed, which would normally get it to you by Friday. (Thur and Friday are the 2 days). The day it ships doesn't count as one of the 2 days.
If you are outside the country, like in Canada, there can be other delays.
I believe two day shipping means it's 2 days from when it's sent. Not two days from when you ordered. For instance I also did two day shipping. I ordered Tue but it shipped Wed and it's not arriving until Friday. So technically it's 3 days.
Expect it to be about 3 days from the day you order it by the time it arrives on your front door. Well, at least that's my experience, lol.
Anyway, I ordered mime on a Sunday and received it on a Wednesday. Hope you get it soon!

If ordered Wednesday night, the SOONEST it can possibly ship is Thursday, which means you will get it either Saturday or Monday depending on if Saturday delivery is included in your 2-day shipping. Most likely you'll get it on Monday... sorry to say 2-day shipping might not have been worth it :|
I ordered mine on wednesday afternoon. According to the tracking on UPS it is out for delivery so I should receive it sometime today(friday).
Also, you should have received an email from google saying that your nexus has shipped by now. In that email is a UPS tracking number. If you click it, it will tell you when the delivery date is.

It said will take 3-5 days to process the order then ship, but no general ETA.
So those who have ordered and gotten their phone, do comment and mention how long it took from placing your order till your actually got it, including the shipping method used!

I ordered mine early on a Wednesday morning and received it the following Monday. The OnePlus site is slow to update with tracking info and the shipping emails come late too. I think I got my shipping email on Saturday and the phone was already in PA. It shipped from CA too. This is my second OPO and the first one was about the same shipping time.
I live on the East Coast. I ordered on a Monday afternoon, it shipped Tuesday from a warehouse in Rosemead, CA via USPS Priority Mail, and it arrived on Thursday. Needless to say, I was very pleased!

I placed my order on a Saturday, processed & shipped on a Tuesday and received on a Thursday. nmine came west coast to east coast btw as well.
So I'm thinking Its safe to say, it takes about a week from placement of order to receiving the phone in hand...?

It typically takes about 2 business days to process and it's shipped 2 day usps (unless you live in California and it's 1 day) and now requires a signature. So if there's a weekend in there, then yes it takes about a week from ordering to arriving. You'll only recieve an email after you order and when after its shipped.

in both instances, when they ship, it's was via USPS, 2-day priority.
The "Processing" time is what kills it.
I'm in the Los Angeles area. Got my invite on Thursday am. Placed order Thursday am, standard shipping. Friday am got shipping confirmation. Saturday am, the first time info showed up on the tracking number, showed that my package was in Ontario Ca. Saturday pm, arrived at USPS sorting facility in Fontana CA. Sunday am, arrived at Goleta, Ca station. Monday am, out for delivery.

I selected Express and it cost me £9.99. I ordered it today so hopefully it comes sometime next week!
I just placed my order yesterday and I live in Canada. There was only express shipping option which was 27.99USD. The duties, taxes, and exchange rate are going to kill me. Thought about shipping to a mailbox in the US and picking it up there and noticed there was only regular shopping option for 14.99USD. Ended up shipping to Canada. Didn't want to risk it getting lost or stolen.

Mine has been assigned UPS tracking number and is "ready for shipping". Ordered Friday at AT&T Company Store.
Mine shows an expected delivery of 8/18 by 8:00pm.

I ordered mine last night from AT&T and it has already shipped with a delivery date of tomorrow via FedEx.
My Edge + shipped on Friday 2 day (business). So, of course my Edge + has been sitting at the FedEx center since Saturday at 5:03pm, and I will be finally getting it tomorrow. FedEx isn't going to deliver faster than what the customer paid. Oh well, in about 12 hours I will have my new toy!

On Newegg, the search results say 9/9, but when you click on the actual listing it says 9/10. Doubt they ship on the weekends, so it might only start the packaging process this weekend, and probably won't ship until Monday.
Just confirmed from a Newegg Rep that they don't even have stock of the phones yet. the date of 9/9 is when they will be 'released' from the manufacturer to be shipped to distributors. I am pretty bummed out.

I guess so, because I only pre-ordered a week ago.
I prordered mine on the 7th. And the headphones were still available. They better be worth it as I had to be 36.98 in taxes when I could've gotten it tax free somewhere else.

I used the link from my order confirmation email - it just updated but still not sure on shipping speed... It says UPS Ground 1
Same. UPS Ground 1. I just checked my order online, no email.
I don't have a link on my order receipt, but when I clicked around on the VZW site I finally found something that said my order was sent to warehouse for shipment. No other info as yet...
That usually means it's ready to ship awaiting pickup by the carrier. UPS will probably update the shipping details tonight once they have it in their possession.
My page finally updated with Shipper and tracking. The page says 1Z4 is the shipper and the tracking number won't work for USPS, UPS, or FedEx. But my guess is that it is all just been entered and will get "fixed" when it actually gets picked by UPS.
I got the tracking number my phone should here tomorrow.

Mine shipped today via FedEx. Delivery is for tomorrow AM, but I'm an Enterprise customer...I get all the phones, and they always ship to me a day or 2 before they release in stores. Gotta love that.

Make sure you sign all the documents if you doing payment Installments as they may forget to send it to you. It happened to me but I act quickly

I'm a business enterprise customer too but I only preordered the G6 at 9am CST this morning. I don't have any other updates and my order status link in the confirmation email always gives me an error message. Not good news ? oh well
Sitting at UPS in my town waiting for Verizon to "upload" something to UPS so they can deliver it, according to UPS. No early pickup either so it looks like Verizon is going to hold off on letting these be delivered until 3/30. Of course they are, that's what Verizon does
