VZW Motorola Droid Razr M
4.0.4 ICS Updating to JB
Signature verification failed.
Never rooted, No custom recovery, and I personally have not modified system files at all.
Is it possible for me to use RSDlite to apply the update or should I get CWM?
Download the manual OTA Update and flash It through Stock Recovery

Is this doable even with safestrap installed? I'm currently running a backup of ICS via safestrap in my ROM Slot 1 and was wondering if it would work to flash JB over it.
Pimped out RAZR M
Can you guys help me out. I've been trying to flash the OTA 4.4.3 zip on my Nexus 4 , but it ends up showing this weird error "system/bin/surfaceflinger has unexpected contents"
FYI - My device is rooted running stock ROM with cwm and twrp recovery I've uninstalled all the xposed framework modules and the Lucky Patcher app.
thanks in advance
This should work for you http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=53176897

I am currently living in a facility that won't allow me to have my laptop. I am running 11-20141207-nightly-moto_msm8960 I would like to upgrade to cm-12-20150114-nightly which when i check updates shows me that's the latest nightly I'm not sure why it hasn't been updated since then and I'm not sure if i should use that or one of dhacker29s but i would like to use CWM and flash that latest nightly from my SD card because I've been told if i use the updater it will most likely not go well. My question is would o be able to just use the updater or should I flash from SD through CWM and if I do what would be the best procedure and if I use one of dhacker29s files which i should pick I also noticed there are ones tagged with jellybean bootloader and i am not sure which one I have. I know to wipe cache system and data, flash cm12 then gapps then wait fifteen to 20 minutes I just need advice on the above mentioned issues. Thank you.
My bet is that you have the KK BL version. Please do note that the moto_msm8960 family has been temporarily de-unified since 20150114, hence you're only getting update notifications up to that date. The newer builds appear under the "xt907" name.
Also, I highly suggest a clean flash between every major Android version jump.

You will have to switch to the newest xt907 TWRP that dhacker built. There is a change and the new xt907 specific ROMs will not boot unless you use the xt907 specific TWRP

Thank you but that is not a viable option currently without access to a pc. Would I be able to take the update from cyanogenmod update in about phone from cm11 nightly to cm12 nightly?
You don't need a computer; everything can be done on the phone. Download & flash the latest TWRP, dl CM12, backup your current build, wipe, flash CM12.

Its the only option. You can download the latest TWRP and flash it using Flashify or Rashr on your phone

Which "newest" do you mean? I have the 2.8.1.0 found on the other forum and it seems to flash both moto_msm8960 and xt907 ROMs reasonably well.

From what I've read, the deunified builds need a deunified recovery. Or at least they did when they first were deunified. I bootlooped the latest CM12 based ROMs until I switched, however, this has been a few weeks now!

Does anyone know how to port cm12 to kk 4.4.2?
Mind your spelling...
My guess is you're trying to run CM12 with locked BL. Sorry, no, not even with root. Without a proper recovery, resistance is useless. Put your weapons down and surrender.
If you're talking about returning from CM12 to 11, isn't that just a matter of clean wiping and flashing the CM11 zip?

Has there been a Philz Recovery developed yet for the l720t? I love the interface, and would like to use this instead of TWRP.... if not then what is the current build of TWRP i need to download and flash to a l720t that is unrooted and on the stock 5.0.1? Just want to avoid a brick... thanks
CWM/PhilZ are dead. Use TWRP and find a theme you like.
