Hi, i'm new and french so I'm sorry for my bad english
I have an Android LG optimus L5 II. I accepted the android upgrade (about 'applications') and now I can't turn on my phone; it's stuck on the 'SRF' logo just after the 'LG' logo. It works but don't start. Please, help me...
Is your phone rooted? And does it have cwm installed?
You may have bricked it but thats not a big deal, the first thing you can trie is to press volume down and the home button, and press power, as soon as your phone vibrates let go of the power button and keep holding volume down and home button. Let go after 10 seconds, your phone shuld factory reset, if it does let it boot. Leave it for 5 minuts on boot. If it wont boot after that, youll need to download kdz to your PC and flash the original OS.

I tried what i could but it still stuck on the logo....
Uh volume down is a very big problem, you cant go in to recovery or in to download mode to fix your phone.
You can fix all software problems by your self, but all buttons need to finction.
Im sorry to say you may need to go and fix your button befor you can fix your boot problem.

Edit: Sorry, I didn't see the "II", my bad. But you can try the same for your model.
Actualy just fornd out to factory reset it you just need hold vol up and vol down at the same time and press and hold power till the phone vibrates, but you still need the vol down button.

Ok, thanks for your answers, my ultimate solution is in unbrick my phone with KDZ, but, according what i saw (maybe i'm in a mistake), i have to get the OFFICIAL rom of my LG E460 from France: I search but I only find dead links....
Can somebody help me please?

At step 20, I don't have the "Select country and language" window: it opens the LG update tool but without anything,... I think i've done the previous steps correctly...
Make sure you installed the driver for your phone from lg on to your pc.

I did. I don't know why it opens the LG Mobile Support Tool isteed of the Languages window ...

Ok, so I connected my bricked LG phone, then I started the 'Automatic Offline Procedure' and set "On" on the Windows Enabler, R&D Test Tool opened, I put the .kdz, click on "Normal Web Upgrade" then "Uprade start".
And the LG Mobile Support opens itself insteed of the LG Flasher, without possibilities: I've already download the drivers on this one: and now I can't see those drivers anymore if I remake this procedure (as you can see on my screen).
I've also downloaded "LGUnitedMobileDriver" for my phone just before that. So I don't think it's a driver problem ...
Where am I wrong?

Try it with one of theas links, befor you use them, re install mobile drivers, btw if you dont see mobile drvers runing or installed in programs see if thay show up when you enable LGmobile modem.
im not sure any of this will work i have the 1 l5 but it worked for me.

Hi, im reading trought threads all day but i cant find solution.
I tried to flash 6/October Android 2.3.7 CyanogenMod. I did something wrong and my phone is now bricked. When i try to turn it on i get "Arm11 is Crashed" and i can go only in some Donwload Mode (vol down+ power).
Main problem is that PC dosnt even recognise my phone. I already tried reinstaling drivers.

My LG L5 doesn't work anymore.
I can update the Firmware using LGMobile Support Tool or the KDZ updater but when i want to power on my device it won't start up.
It shows the LG logo and powers off. I cannot enter Emergency mode only Download mode.

Search for a v10_downgrade.kdz file on the web, flash it and then flash the firmware that you want

Maybe your phone is discharged completely...

I think you have to replace the battery, the icon means your actual battery is completely out of service.

I have a problem with my lg e400.
i did put cm 9 onto it but had no network.
so i flashed v10 baseband on it trought clockwork recovery on the phone and also i flashed a screen-charger mass bug fix after .
since the restart i cant start the phone.
if i start the phone normaly only the touch buttons light flash up and have black screen but vibrates once.
if i connect th phone to pc it only recognises if i put the phone to download mode
with hold volume button down with no battery.
i have searched trough the forum so i tried kdz,adb,cmrecovery,r&d tool,lg updater,flasher,pc suit to flash back or forward with different kdz files but couldnt get succes. allways have wparam lparam error codes. there was one kdz P880 V20A_00.kdz it didnt get an error message but nothing happend till this morning as i left it ongoing trough last night. or if i tried with web update it stops at 4% does not matter how i set the pc.
i have tried to mount system files from the sd card way but did not reach any succes as it has no screen and only can get into download mode.
Could someone help me with it please? it seems i knocked out my phone :/
When using kdz right click the computer button on your pc, go to properties go advanced find modem and disable LG mobile modem, restart your pc.
Then if using windows start windows enabler, make sure you installed every thing correctly.
And try every thing agen, i hope i helped a bit.

Thats realy strange, kdz is the only way you can get it back, did you try a difrent version of kdz?
I dont think your phone is hard bricked, cus you can still enter download mode, trie it with a difrent kdz version, a newer or older one.
There not all the same.

hello guys i got this phone of a friend, lg l5 e460, he gave to me to check if it can be fixed but after a fast vision i'm totally mad with it... can't boot recovery or download mode.... all i can see is : connecting it to the pc via usb cable i found this

does the lg logo show up when you conect usb?
If so you can try to remove the battery, hold the button combination for recovery and conect to the charger or usb. Dont press power button at all. Just the combination for recovery.

I already tried that... i also tried home button + volume button, also camera button + home + volume, with battery and w/o battery via usb, nothing seems to work :S

you may have a hard brick, that cant be fixed. Only if you send your phone to LG.

But there's a device in device manager when i plug in via usb, i can't believe there's no way to fix it... like some recovery tool... T_T

well if you can get it in download mode some how you can flash kdz.
But dont know how.
You can try to remove bat and hold the vol down button. (I think thats how you enter download mode) and conect the phone to the pc.
Nvm if it wont show download mode on the phone just try flashing kdz.

HELL YEAH, I DID IT !!!!!! Something is changed now, i tried to pull out the battery, after i've installed LG USB drivers, holding Vol+, Vol- and Power Button i plugged in the USB clabe (WITHOUT BATTERY), now the screens is stuck @ the LG logo with " => Download Mode" in the corner
So... what come next? i guess i need this kdz... mmh... i think i need some googling

yup you have the kdz instructions here on xda for L5 2.
just google kdz for l5 2 youll find the instructions. Its all easy after that.

I'm stucked, draggin "automatic Offile procedure.vbs" on the admin cmd, i put the kdz file, RECOVERY mode then "Normal web update test"->"Upgrade Start", then LG MOBILE support tool starts and after he recognize the phone it crash... May it be something wrong with the OS im running on? i'm on W8.1 64bit... sorry for my english
No its not the os, right click on my computer find advanced and unfer modem disable lg mobile modem then restart your pc.. And check if you installd kdz and every thing thats needed corectly.
Also activate windows enabler.

Hey Guys, Im sorry for the newbie question but I have a Samsung galaxy S4 thats stuck on the ATT logo and Im trying to reload the phones stock ROM onto it.
Ive gone through and wiped out all the cache and set it back to factory settings but that hasnt worked. So Now I have found my stock rom to upload it and ODIN cant communicate with it with the phone in download mode.
I can get into Recovery mode also but for whatever reason, I cant get ODIN to communicate to it.
Any help is appreciated.

If you're on Windows the drivers should automatically install. Also make sure its download mode that you're booting into. Hold Volume down and power button while the device is off and press volume up when a screen appears. Happy Odin flashing
