What exactly did you try yet? Have you already tried installing the android sdk? Have you set up any udev rules yet?

Okay, great! If it works, could you please post the link to this script/guide here, so other users with the same problem can solve it, too?

I apologize in advance if there already is a thread on this, but I couldn't find anything. Any way to possibly run Linux off of a USB stick or dual boot or anything? I saw the thread about natively running it but I was just curious as to whether or not there is a way to run both? (Android and Linux)
Yes, there's a thread on it, in the dev section.
This thread? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1158260
Does it talk about Linux on USB? Or is it just referring to installing it instead of the android os?

There are several step by step guides.no.apk. or complete done for you. Zip file.it does require Linux knowledge. Im not comfy with the procedure when it gets easier I might give it a try.but my tab does as I need for now.
EXTREMELY helpful videos for a no0b like me on setting this stuff up... he explains 32-bit and 64-bit setup...
I'm glad you found the videos helpful. If anyone has any ideas for further video tutorials, I'm open to suggestions. I'm inexperienced when it comes to Android Development as a whole, but I try and help out as best as I can.

I figured as much.
Thank you for this videoguide!!!
My adb server won't start on my os (Ubuntu 11.10 x64 bit) and i've solved the problem installing ia32-libs
sudo apt-get install ia32-libs
This must be helpful for some users that have my same problem.

First advice: have a 64-bit linux distro (i.e. Ubuntu).
If use don't dispose with a linux computer, any other advice is meaningless.

I see, do you happen to have any documentation on how you accomplished this then? or could you write down the rough steps so I could attempt to replicate this? Would be much appreciated

the guide is at the main post now with the files to download
I did this on Bliss OS, it works aside for the fact that in my VM the settings wont open now, but I didnt test it to see if they did before so whether or not that is an issue due to the steps provided is unknown
EDIT: The VM I use is Hyper-V
