Okay, since i flashed Alliancerom v3.0 on NB1, Everything works charmingly but this phone app causes my blood pressure to spike up. It's just a minor issue but it is very annoying for me.
whenever i run my phone app, it crashes with 'Unfortunately the contact has stopped'. my contacts work fine and i can recieve and call people through adding their number to the contacts and also can use voicemail. but the problem is that i cannot check my missed calls, and everytime i have to add a number to call. Because i cannot check my missed phonecall, this little 'missed calls counter' on the phone icon will never go away. I tried factory resets and force stopped and cleared everything but this problem will never go away. Can someone help me or at least tell me how to make this little counter thing to disappear?

Hi everybody, I seem to be having a major problem when making outgoing calls, (ie. to Voicemail and other contacts).
Sometimes, whenever I try to call my voicemail or other people, I don't hear any ringing, and when the person picks up.. I hear no sound. This is usually fixed by clicking speakerphone then unclicking it, and I can hear people fine.
But sometimes my sound works perfectly fine... but lately it's been on and off.
I've tried a soft reset, and even went to T-Mobile to get a SIM card replacement, but it still happens on & off? For example, one hour I may make a phone call and I can hear the ringing as well as the other person on the line. The next hour, I may not hear any of the ringing or the person's voice... UNTIL I press speakerphone and unclick it.
I even re-flashed my G1 back to the official Android 1.5 update, it was never rooted in the first place.
I hear incoming calls perfectly fine, and receive text messages perfectly fine as well.
Do you guys think this could be a software or 3rd party issue?
Is your fone rooted?
If it is, then try reflashing your current ROM (or another build maybe)
What ROM are u running?
Have u tried flashing the radio with a newer version?
Be careful if you are running the newest SPL because downgrading the radio will brick your fone.
It sounds like a software issue because you say turning on speakerphone and then turning it off seems to make it work IMO. This would reset the software's interface with the hardware.
No, my phone has never been rooted.
I only flashed my G1 to the official UK cupcake update, then flashed it back to the official US cupcake update when it came out. I re-flashed the U.S update, and I'm STILL having this problem on and off.
I recently performed a factory reset on my non-rooted Note 3. Somehow between all the app killers I had and using the Galaxy Gear, it kept freezing, I kept having to do battery pulls to get anywhere. I also rooted and downloaded null_ ROM version 11 on my Gear, if that bears any significance.. today I was in the middle of sending someone a text when I received an incoming call. but rather than the screen taking over everything and stopping whatever I was in the middle of doing, I got this minimized version which just popped up at the bottom of my screen. I thought maybe it had to do with Themer, so I uninstalled it, but got the same thing on another incoming call. Has this happened to anyone else? Do you think it has to do with the Galaxy Gear? (even though bluetooth was powered off and the gear powered off at the time this call was made.) or did I just randomly get a lucky break?
In the call settings you have checked the incoming call popup notification....If you don't like it just uncheck it.

As the title says, when somebody calls me on one of my sip numbers and I'm on wifi I need to put the phone on speaker a number of times before I can start hearing anything from the call. After that it works but it might lose audio again at some later point and cycling the speaker setting brings it back.
I haven't noticed this before 4.4.2 and I can't reproduce it while on 3G. Any ideas?
Actually phone also directly drops the call or even reboots from time to time while doing this. Cool software, bro.
As a late update - I followed Samsung support's advice and reset the phone to factory defaults (from recovery) - then only installed a minimal set of programs and modified a minimal set of options. Receiving sip calls is still buggy or causing the phone to reboot.
Hello.
From 2-3 weeks I have random problem with incoming call - screen not respond when call screen is shown, I cannot answer, but when call is end - touch is working ok. This not happen always, and I not have any other problems with touchscreen, not any system or rom modifications in this time. How to fix this? This maybe problem with app? I suspect Facebook Messenger App - I saw that when chat bubles are active I cannot answer, but I'm not sure that app is the problem. Any ideas?

Click to collapse
If you suspect that facebook is the cause simply uninstall it and check out,
If problem persist try factory reset.
Otherwise try to flash a stock rom and sees if the problem still excist
So whenever I am getting a call on my phone I am not getting the caller screen. Its just staying in the notification bar. So in order to accept or decline the call I have to pull down the notification bar and then do the following.
I don't know why is this happening.
If somebody knows the solution ,let me know, please asap.
+1 and this is irritating. Is there a fix?
Don't get it quite don't you have notification head's up on incoming call so you wouldn't have to swipe notification bar. Or you are talking when the phone is locked ?
Are you using bluetooth?

Just try to force stop phone app in settings and clear data. It should fix it. Clearing data won't clear your contacts. Happened to me. I did this.
Erasing the app data is work for me ,thanks.
