incoming caller screen is not visible - Xiaomi Mi A1 Questions & Answers

So whenever I am getting a call on my phone I am not getting the caller screen. Its just staying in the notification bar. So in order to accept or decline the call I have to pull down the notification bar and then do the following.
I don't know why is this happening.
If somebody knows the solution ,let me know, please asap.

+1 and this is irritating. Is there a fix?

Don't get it quite don't you have notification head's up on incoming call so you wouldn't have to swipe notification bar. Or you are talking when the phone is locked ?

Are you using bluetooth?
anyway: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a1/help/black-screen-incoming-calls-t3741578

Just try to force stop phone app in settings and clear data. It should fix it. Clearing data won't clear your contacts. Happened to me. I did this.

Erasing the app data is work for me ,thanks.

I had a similar problem, 4 or 5 rings before my own phone (XV6700 Verizon) would ring. I uninstalled and reinstalled a dialer (Mogul Big Button from ppcgeeks) and it now answers after 1.5 - 2 rings. You might try re-installing your dialer or installing another one.

S4 speaker goes dead after text message while on a call. PLEASE HELP!

I am having a problem on my S4 that I had on my S3. I am stock rooted on MF9. It happens when I am on a call and receive a text message during the call. It also sometimes happens when I am on a call and receive a call (call waiting) and do not answer it. After I receive the text or missed call waiting call I can continue the call that I am on. However, when I hang up 2 things happen. First my notification volume goes down to almost 0. I do not hear any notifications such as texts, etc (at about 5% volume even turned up all the way). When I try to make my next call my speaker (earpiece) stops working completely. I hear the beep from it that the call connected and the timer starts but I can not hear anything on the other end. This was a big problem on my S3 and now it just started happening on my S4. I am using handcent for my texts. In handcent I tried turning the alert on and off while on a call. I have to reset my phone several times a day as this is the only thing that fixes this issue. Can someone please help me figure out what is wrong?

I have solved the issue. It is being caused by an old app that I had installed called call waiting configurations 1.9.9. This app was messing up the sounds on my S3 and S4 so if you have it DELETE IT.

[Q] Incoming Call - No vibration

Ok this is a really odd problem that I am having with my galaxy S4, running 4.4.2 NO custom roms/root or anything like that.
So whenever I get a phone call (this just started happening a few weeks ago) and I'm on the 'vibrate' profile, the phone will get the incoming call with the person's face on the screen showing me that the call is coming in, like normal. However, the phone does not vibrate at all, in fact, I see the silent logo on the top notification bar (even though the phone was on vibrate) and once I answer the call, the silent symbol is replaced by the vibrate one. This is only occurring with phone calls, not texts or other app notifications. So to recap: phone will not vibrate for incoming calls even though it is set to do so. Anybody have any idea of what is going on?!
Thanks.

[Q] stock phone app often doesnt show its gui when receiving a call

hey all,
a while ago, suddenly one day without notice, my phone started behaving funny when receiving an incoming phone call.
Often, the Phone App's GUI wouldn't appear in the foreground. the phone would ring and vibrate properly, i could silent the ring with the volume rocker, but i have no way to answer the call. i know when it is finished ringing when i can see the missed call notification in the notifications bar.
also, during the ringing, i can continue using the app that was already in the foreground, the home button is disabled, and the notifications shade is disabled (cannot be pulled down)
i have no idea what i did to cause this (maybe playing with Handy Call?) and no idea how to get out of this state.
the worst part is, it seems to be random, i have no idea why it happens sometimes and not others. it is super annoying. ive actually started assigning specific ringtones to important people so i know immediately who is calling.
any one encounter this? any ideas?

No Notification Vibe/Sounds During Calls

When I am on a call, the Postmates Fleet app (My Job), does send me a notification of a delivery request, but it does not make a sound or vibrate and I miss out on job requests while taking an important call on my down-time. This has been going on for a very long time, and the app company says that it's the phone, it's not the app, because they say that it's set to make sounds/vibrate while sending notifications during a phone call. But If that's true, why doesn't this app wake the phone up during a notification? It just flashes its designated led color and plays a sound, all without the phone screen turning on. And I say this about it happening for a long time, because it happened on my Sprint Galaxy S6 too before I upgraded to the Edge. Any suggestions? I have tried clearing cache and factory reset, because I have to factory reset it sometimes anyways. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
