I recently bought a Razr M with the goal of having it flashed to work on Page Plus. It has the latest Android build 98.18.94 which I understand cannot be rooted. Do I need 98.15.66 or something even earlier?
When I attempt to flash back from a rooted stock 4.4.4 to 4.3 it takes a longer period of time for the phone to boot up, when it does I'm unable to get phone or wifi signal. I've tried 4.2.2 and the phone signal works but can't enable wifi. What else should I include doing after flashing the stock roms?
Current phone info if necessary:
Android version 4.4.4
Baseband Version M9615A-CEFWMAZM-2.0.1700.98
Kernel Version 3.4.0-perf-ga6edd5e
[email protected] #1
Build number KTU84P
For wifi/network activity you need to flash the corresponding radio of that android version aswell.
Newer radio's dont seem to work on older versions of android (eg. 4.4.4 radio on 4.3)

I've tried flashing radio .83 & .84, the wifi will work but no mobile signal and when I check the phone info it reads unknown under the baseband version.
Hey guys I to get straight to the point is there a way to flash the old radio 0.33 I think to work under lollipop and have LTE unlocked permanently?
I have followed this guide off this website and it has worked since jelly bean 4.2.2 till kit kat 4.4.4
I cannot post the link since XDA won't let me.
So I'm wondering if I can move Lollipop and have the same LTE unlocked permanently and ready to go
If so, can someone show me how to do it?
I went back to cyanogenmod running 4.4.4 because I didn't like Lollipop lack of xposed support and no LTE. If I can get LTE back up I will jump back on 5.0.
Hey guys, I've recently inherited a relatively unused xt907 vzw that I plan to use when travelling. It was still running ICS when I got hold of it. I'm currently unlocked and rooted and running the latest nightly build for jbbl. As it seems like support is ending for jjbl roms, I'd like to update the bootloader (but remain unlocked and rooted) so I can put lollipop on this phone. Having only used Samsung phones before, I'm a bit of a moto noob, so any help or advice would be appreciated.
I suspect I need to use RSD lite to flash the .10 baseband firmware, right? I'm aware of the issues with .15.
If it matters, my current baseband version is SM_BP_101032.021.32.80P
Thanks in advance.
Since your bootloader is unlocked - you can flash whichever firmware you want with RSDLite. If you want the KKBL, you will need to flash either the .10 or .15 Razr M KitKat firmware or even the .10 luge KitKat firmware - your choice.

Thanks a lot, ATTACK. Is there one in particular you'd reccommend (or reccommend avoiding)?

Flash the .10 Razr M firmware (KDA20.62-10.1).
Head here > http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-razr-m/general/guide-faq-how-to-root-boot-unlock-t2869432
Thanks again, ATTACK, this worked great I've got CM12 up and running. I had to install a CM11 4.4 build before CM12 because of bootlooping (tried multiple recoveries and CM 12 nightlies).
So in case anyone else comes across this: KDA20.62-10.1->CM 11->CM 12. Works like a charm.
I'm on Phoenix rom on 6.0. 1 and I'm sick of the weird path name it gives the external SD card. It messes with link2sd and my Manga Reader. I was wondering if I can simply flash a kit Kat rom on miui without ruining anything...
no
So I'll have to go back to stock first via Odin?

you cant do that either. Once you progress past 5.0, youre stuck
I directly downgraded to 4.4 with my G900W8. However, you need to be careful with which version you are going to flash. For example, when I flashed any other 4.4 firmware than NCG (Which is the first version of 4.4 released for G900W8), I faced bootloop.

there is a physical fuse that gets tripped in the S5 once you go past 5.0 that is there to no allow you to go back. Not sure if you were on a 4.4 bootloader that allowed you to do this or what, but trying to flash back to 4.4 after being on a 5.0 baseband is very ill advised
I don't think you can down grade to kit kat, but you can go from marshmallow to lollipop. I just did it last weekend. Check this...https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-s5/general/root-method-og5-ok3-t3290370
I hope it helps you.
Actually i can downgrade anytime from MM to LP or LP to KK
but i didnt tried MM to KK yet.... tried it many times it works.. unlocked G900F

then you dont have a MM bootloader. I just re-read some posts that confirm that the phone locks to 5.0 once you get that bootloader. Its not possible to go back, and it doesnt matter if you have the G900F or not

Then if there is a physical fuse, why was I able to downgrade from MM to KK? One difference when I downgraded from MM to KK NCG was that "Powered by Android" logo was changed to old style. I think NCG build of KitKat changed bootloader from MM one to KK one. Baseband wise, I also flashed KK baseband and it worked very well. It might be different on G900F but with my G900W8 I could go back to KK.

not sure, but ive had my G900P for 2 years 10 months and have been constantly on XDA since my OG evo back in the day (the one with the kickstand) and everything ive ever read saya that once you go past 5.0, you cant go back. Not sure what you have going on there, but there are tons of posts going back several years stating exactly this
Of course you can downgrade to kk.
Just download the kk firmwafe. Pull out battery for 5 sec. Then flash trough odin. Did it mant times and no problem with that.
i did that on my galaxy s5 and it works
