With the phone powered off hold volume down and power button to boot into Bootloader screen (Red Blu Green White),plug in usb cable to computer and into the phone(it will say "serial" at the bottom ( let it install the qualcomm cdma driver) Then "serial" will change to "USB" at the bottom of the phone screen, extract the ROM.zip file from download link above and click the Rom update utility EXE and follow the instructions from there.

Ok I need you help please, I have the same problem with my htc 7 surround of AT&T, but I didn´t use the tool "unlock by XTC clip". My phone worked well, but the last week, it freezing in the logo "HTC" and don´t pass from here; it do not start wp7.
I use this tool that you give from megaupload but when the program verify the image version of my htc - it is in blank, my phone phone don´t have image version- I don´t know what I have to do. I use everything to install a new windows phone 7 operating system to my htc surround.
please give me a response...

It is very important to make backup with Titanium backup or another app and also Nandroid backup before you start ​
1. Procedure is not complicated at all,..but is too risky.The point is that u mast kill and revive your device to get network unlock
2. U MUST have working SPflash tool and backup made with MTK droid tools. (when I say working it means that u test that backup)
3. U MUST have IMEI backup made with MTKdroid tools (when i unlock my device my IMEI was lost)​
So,..
♣ Switch off you phone and remove battery,Sim and SD card
♣ Start SPflash tool and load your sccater file from backup made with MTKdroid tools
♣ Conect your phone with your PC and press Format in SP flash tool,...after formating u have DEAD phone
♣ Do not switch it on !!!​
Load again your scatter (SPFlashh tool) file and press Download.
Conect your phone and wait until the download is completed
Reboot in Recovery and do wipe data/cache,...reboot.
U can after that also flash official update.zip form ZTE (not required)
Now u must flash CWM again
If u dont have IMEI restore it with MTKdroid tools
That's it,..u now have network unlocked phone,... enjoy​

Becuse i use memory swap by @Zephyrty i do this unlock procedure like this:
After formating,downloading and all,..i restore my IMEI,flashed CWM,do a memory swap and Restored Nandroid backup.​

Thanks for this, I used this on a ZTE Blade Q mini and it works perfectly.
I can also report that this works to unlock a phone that has had the wrong network unlock key entered too many times so that the phone is 'permanently' locked and won't accept any more network unlock codes.
I used the newer version of SP tools that has format on a separate tab, using the defaults, worked great, phone is now unlocked.

[TOOL]Unlock Bootloader on Sony Xperia Z1 Compact without wipe

This guide/tool will let you unlock the bootloader of your xperia z1 compact without wipe userdata (e.g. sdcard), and TA partition. This mean that you’ll be able to flash a custom ROM like Cyanogenmod or ParanoidAndroid! You do not need root permissions!
ATTENTION: If you mess something your device will be hard bricked. This mean that you'll lose your warranty. Neither I nor the forum are leable of your actions.
1) Follow this guide on how to obtain key from Sony to unlock your bootloader.
2) Make a TA partition backup (this will let you switch from unlocked to locked bootloader, and vice-versa without consequences and without any wipe).
3) Download this simple tool that I've made: https://mega.nz/#!cZRXFTIS!PLXKhwbLfTDz7A-wJL_kBDDPiwyxzsBfu9X1321v8Gw.
It requires Java>=1.5 and it works on each desktop OS.
4) Open command prompt (terminal) and navigate to the folder of the tool.
5) Type: cust-rest-gen.jar [KEY]. Where [KEY] is the key that Sony send to you for unlock your bootloader.

This command will generate a “cust-reset.ta” file.
6) Download the loader.sin for your firmware (here for .157: http://d-h.st/rvn)
7) Create a folder (call it “bootloader” to simplify) on your desktop and move loader.sin and cust-reset.ta inside.
8) Open Flashtool (download it here: http://www.flashtool.net/downloads.php)
9) Click on Tools->Bundles->Create and set it up in this way (Branding and Version may vary according to your firmware):

10) Click on “Create” button and Flashtool will create ftf file on folder “firmware”.
11) Turn off you phone and click on flash icon on Flashtool -> Flashmode -> OK -> Select ftf you have created before and click on “Flash”.
12) When the program tell you, press volume down button on device and connect on PC.

- Unlike what you say in the OP, this will still wipe DRM keys
- You can do this via Flashtool [BLU] icon directly, without downloading an additional program and less steps

A way to unlock hardbricked Meizu Pro 5 ?

Hi,
I've hard bricked my Pro 5. No recovery access, no boot to rom, locked bootloader. After many search i see this : https://forum.xda-developers.com/meizu-pro-5/how-to/meizu-customer-service-flash-tools-save-t3447678, but this is bull-****.
I test many manipulations to get something on my phone other than "Bootloader, Locked".
So i dicovered this : Press and holp Vol + and Vol - and press one time power button. We get this :

Only way to solve this is taking the phone to technical service. Done it myself. Be careful tought, they will try to make you change the entire mother board (280€), but if you insist they will "find a way" to install the correct software in your phone and leave it as if it was new

it is possible to recovery via dongle ... but sn and imei can be lost

I only ask you 2 things.....Do a firmware upgrade or root the device.
The main problem is the radio application. While I have English as my primary language, the radio only holds Polish and does not have a good signal.

Easy! For some reason, it is not described in detail and simply here.
I will try:
- download our scatter file to the computer (laptop);
- Download FlashTool with SP_Driver_v2.0 (firewood) and install on the computer (laptop);
- Download SuperSU.zip and throw in the root of the body;
- Download Android Terminal and install on the body;
- Download also TWRP, this one came up to me, the rest mirrors;
- rename TWRP to recovery.img - this is important!
- we throw recovery.img next to our scatter file;
- open FlashTool, load our scatter file, see that the checkmark is only on recovery! ;
- further according to the scheme as described on the forum - click Download, connect the switched off body and wait for success!
Success will be, of course, if the firewood is already standing and the dad-dad cord is whole.
- Now you need to reboot into recovery. to do this, turn on the body, launch Android Terminal, give the reboot recovery command;
- from TWRP we put zip SuperSU;
- ALL! We reboot and rejoice.
