Yup yup. What do you suggest?

Use Odin and flash with tar and firmware here and you will be all set.

Back when I was rooted on NCG then decided to go to NHA I flashed the NE9 factory tar and it did not wipe my data. I wanted a fresh start so I did a factory data reset as well. So I would do a reset and flash before selling the phone if it were me. Using the pit file while flashing may wipe all, it should as it is re-partitioning, but I can't attest to that with no personal experience doing such.

[Q] ClockWorkMod is not working

Hi,
I have Note 3 - SM-N900. with ROM SER [Russia].
After flashing the ClockWork, It's not working, see the attachment! I can't choose ZIP file.
Reflash it, that looks like the stock recovery. Make sure you flash the correct one for your device.

Does odin shows 'pass' message?. After successful cwm flash, you phone will reboot and automatically enter cwm. Then after some times it will attempt to reboot to OS. If it ask to flash stock recovery then choose no

[Q] Unroot after rooted with Towelroot on SM-G900F?

Hi, I would like to ask you guys if the device can be unroot after it has been rooted with Towelroot?
I heard many people said about using SuperSU to remove the root.
However, I am not sure if the unroot process is safe and be able to give me a full warranty back.
Thank you.

I've unrooted my s5 before and it wasn't hard. Just flash an unroot pda with Odin. Saves all your data. But I think it will trip the Knox counter, so It'll void your warranty. So I'm not 100% sure if you'll be able to keep your warranty

Dude, what advice is this? :crying: Flash an unroot PDA? What do you mean with that?. Just unroot from within the superSU app, flash a stock rom and do a data factory reset. Takes about 5-7 minutes if done correctly.

I have tried the method and everything works.
My device is now unrooted.
No KNOX trip after flash stock rom with odin.
The device status is official too.
Thanks!
Still a bit confused
Confused is my normal state...
In Super User the only options I have are for OTA survival and for temp unroot.
To unroot would I only need to select the temp unroot option then go into the S5's settings and do a factory reset (under the backup/restore selections) or would I temp unroot with superuser, then go into Odin (on my pc) and flash a factory rom?
With the Odin option of doing this,if it is necessary, where can I get the factory rom for Version's S5 for this process?
I just unrooted using SuperSu's full unroot option and wiped cache from the stock recovery and boom. Worked for me.

Thanks klacenas, Where/how did you wipe the cache "from the stock recovery"? Also as an aside... did this cause you to lose any apps or files (photos, music, txt files type stuff) when you did the unrooting?
Sorry to be a pain.

By Unrooting only, you will not lost any of your personal data that stored on your phone. However when you do factory reset, your personal data that stored on the phone will be lost.

SM-G900F STOCK ROM, please help

Hi,
I have been using RR for quite a while now, but lately I am having several troubles and I'd like to go back to the stock version, now that MM is available on S5 officially.
Is it possible? What is the best way to do so? Can I use TWRP to update the rom instead of odin?

Yes it's possible, just download your official stock rom from sammobile, then extract the tar.md5 file from the zip and flash via odin. 1 point I will say is do a factory reset via twrp first as it's a clean fresh start. Once phone is done reboot to recovery and do another factory reset vis stock recovery. Then reboot and enjoy. I personally went backwards and went back to kk

Because it's the official software and unmodified Samsung firmwares must be flash via odin. Plus it's the safest way to get stock back. If u can find a stock MM rom that's already been tweaked and made into a zip u can but modems and bootloader's (which come in official firmwares) can only be flashed via odin. It'll take around 30-50 mind to download on pc, are you wanting unbranded UK firmware? If so give me 20 mind to upload it

Do a backup first and store on ext sd card, no if card do backup and move to pc, then once flashed stock just re-root and flash twrp again and then u can restore your backup.

You mentioned a few posts back that you were flashing the MM firmwares after flashing the Nougat update. You can't do this because for some strange reason, Samsung change the bootloader as a part of the update that doesn't allow MM firmwares to be flashed. I would know because after the Nougat update, I found Stang5Litre and really wanted to try it but it would fail every time.
