I added my Android app icon into my res folder using "Add Image Asset" in Android Studio, but it's too small compared to other apps' icons. The actual PNG image is 3 inches, but "add asset" made it too small on my Nexus 7 2013. Any fixes (preferably with code)? Thanks!

i cant get the icons to not look blurry and small.

Text icons like that I have seen at 82x72px. And yours is 300x300px and being squeezed down will make it blurry.
good day.
72x72 is the standard resolution for LauncherPro text icons. I've made them at 128x128 for ones I wanted to use on the screen, but you can see the difference when you squeeze them down for LauncherPro.
I'm using this app which rocks!!! I want to start customizing it even more but run into two issues:
1 - anyone know what the default icon size is? 12x12? 24x24? Etc?
2 - how do you get around the widget gap? I have two icons side by side and they are not flush.
Thanks!!!

1. Don't know the size for icons, but the area is 126x97, with 1 pixels between boxes.
2. Can't get around the space lengthways because it's designed for square icons.
Use one of the launcher programs that allows you to change # of rows/columns to make them square.
Look in the home screen posting thread, someone made all different sized icons for DV that have no spacing. They are all different sizes, 2x1, 2x2, and 3x3
Is there something odd about how app folders appear on homescreens on the G2? I used to have a Galaxy S2 and app folders looked really good – a circle with layered icons inside. But on the G2 it's a boring manila square with small icons for each app – see my screenshot here
Yeah they're skinned differently that's for sure. You CAN change the manila color though. Open the folder, and tap on the name of the folder and it will open a section to switch colors

I'm currently working on an icon pack for Nova Launcher, but it seems that the icon size is a fair amount smaller than normal icons. Is there any way I can make these icons a bit bigger? By the way, they were added via "Add Image Asset" in Android Studio. Thanks!
I'm looking for the default app drawer and folder background icons from the Sense 7 launcher. The app drawer button I'm looking for consists of 9 small circles in a square shape, and the folder icon is square in shape with a dark, semi-transparent background. Basically what the M9 launcher uses out-of-the-box. This thread mentions how to pull those icons out of a stock Sense ROM. I'm looking for these to be in PNG format so they are usable in Nova Launcher. Thanks!
