I'm looking for the default app drawer and folder background icons from the Sense 7 launcher. The app drawer button I'm looking for consists of 9 small circles in a square shape, and the folder icon is square in shape with a dark, semi-transparent background. Basically what the M9 launcher uses out-of-the-box. This thread mentions how to pull those icons out of a stock Sense ROM. I'm looking for these to be in PNG format so they are usable in Nova Launcher. Thanks!

Hi folks,
I used the search function but I don't know how to search for that
I was wondering if it is possible to get that colored icon background in standard Sense appdrawer like it is in Galaxy S?
For example: In our Desire with standard Sense appdrawer we have the icon for an app with transparent background, so you only see the icon itself. But I want to have the icon on a colored square matching the colors of the app-icon like in Galaxy S appdrawer.
I like this smooth appearence in appdrawer of Samsung Galaxy S, everything is clean and each icon has the same dimensions.
Is it possible to add this feature to Sense appdrawer?
Thanks in advance!
Maybe if you manually edit each apps apk with the desired background icon...but they would appear like that on homescreen too.
Why not use Touchwiz launcher? It's not too bad...but of course you lose HTC Widgets.

Touchwiz is very uncomfortable in my opinion... and editing each apk is a LOT of work!
I guess it is only a small fragment of code which places a background behind the icons in Touchwiz, but what exactly is it?
Maybe I have some time to develop something own next weekend

MIUI does it, but that's a whole rom(no apart launcher).
i dont like the black label behind the icons on the homescreen of dell streak..i have a 2.2 android version and i want these black bar icons removed on it..please help me
get a different launcher like ADW or LauncherPro, and you can hide the labels...
With ADW, you can also lock the screen in portrait...
If Dell added the icons borders lke how HTC did their espresso roms for T-Mo, you should be able to just pull framework-res.apk, edit the image files n push it back
or as tmotytn mentioned, use a dif launcher like ADW or Launcher Pro.
Android 6.0.1
Google Launcher
Material Theme from Samsung store applied
Some icons (gallery, phone, messages) appear as touch wiz icons and not as applied theme
I think themed icons from Sammy themes only work with touchwiz launcher. I use this excellent little app to change icons: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jy.iconchanger It changes the Icons on your screen by creating a shortcut but doesn't change it in the app drawer though.

thanks will have a look...
dunno, with Lollipop behaviour was erratic: recently for sure the icons were the themed ones at the beginning they were the samsung ones, but I am not sure what had changed to cause the switch from samsung to themed icons

Personally I'm waiting for CM 13 for our device (sigh!)
Personally i'm never big on the OEM looks on any phone. I always like to have some personalisation on any phone i have.
I try to keep things simple.
Launcher - Nova Launcher prime
Icon pack - Whicons
Wallpaper - not sure where i found it.
But i'm trying to find a nice weather widget that goes with it. I usually use the Yahoo one but theres some issues with the location name not appaearing as it should but as a basic small black text.
Launcher - nova launcher
Icons - pixel icons
Wall - I can't remember
Nova launcher with each icon in similar colours chosen from different packs.

Nova Pixelated
I like the simplicity of the pixel launcher but I want the versatility of the Nova launcheer. So I combine both and this what I get.
Using Arrow launcher, standard Icon pack that comes with it and I use wallpaper changer that changes my wallpaper on every unlock or double tap. Got 100+ images in my folder
Edit: oh yea and a nice PlayStation theme for the navigation buttons and PlayStation sounds

Nothing fancy
The homescreen design built in KLWP was a preset I got from the play store that I just edited for personal use. I didnt create all elements of the KLWP preset. I also merged 2 presets together. Just wish I could hide the navigation bar on Nova Launcher like I had on my Z2 which I used root for.
Launcher: Nova Launcher Prime
Lockscreen Wallpaper: Static Kingdom Hearts Wallpaper
Home Screen Wallpaper: KLWP Live Wallpaper
Background: Kingdom Hearts Static Wallpaper
Dynamic Live Weather which moves across the screen
Interactive wallpaper so that icons can be selected to open apps
Tried to make it as clean as possible
Launcher: Nova Launcher Prime
Lockscreen Wallpaper: Wallpaper from Lines Icon Pack
Home Screen Wallpaper: Lines 44 from Lines Icon Pack
Icons: Lines Icon Pack
Using Nova Launcher Prime, pretty much a clean look with a Pixel sort of theme (nav bar and accent colour)
Update on homescreen, Blue Xperia loops still clean!
Hi,
so i just got my mate 10 pro and want to change the icons but not with a launcher because i kinda like the emui one.
I know the design app but it doesnt got what i want - it only changes the color of the icon not the icon in generall. If i just oversaw this feature in the app please tell me.
What annoys me is that Emui puts a white boarder/background on the google app and a green one on WhatApp. For example the Play Store is not just the colorfull triangle but it is a small triangle with white background.
Befor i owned the OP2 with cyanogenmod 14.1, Android 7.1.1 and Nova with icon pack set to "System" (guess its stock Android icons) and these dont have this ugly white background.
TL;DR
is there any way to change the icons to a pack from PlayStore or stock android without installing a launcher
Thanks
yes you can. use emui theme editor from playstore. you can change icons from icon packs
