[Q] Flashing TWRP over RA recovery

As the title says, GooMananger appears to download and notifies "recovery successfully installed!" but on reboot recovery, its still RA-Iconia-3.17. I've done the same process more than 5 times with the same result.
I have tried to install the image via fastboot, but on reboot, again, its RA recovery.
Can anyone lend a hand?
Running FLEX-Resurrection_Rev1, Android 4.0.4

[Q] I9505 Help

Just making a post to ask for some help with my S4, to make a long story short ill make bullet points.
1. Booted into recovery (Philz)
2. Wiped it using the install a new rom option
3. Someone knocked at the door, I came back and the phone screen had gone off.
4. Turned it back on
5. tried to boot into recovery but it just hung on the boot screen with the text "Recovery Booting"
6. Tried flashing a different recovery but it still gives the same text
I've tried reflashing recovery and re-partition the phone with odin and now I'm really clueless at what to do next, anyone know how I could fix this?
thanks in advance - peter :fingers-crossed:
- Did you uncheck auto-reboot before flashing the recovery?
- Can't you get a working phone at all with flashing stock?
ps I don't think wiping and your screen turning of are related. It's just a coincidence.
TWRP doesn't work?
Try to flash a Stock ROM and reflash TWRP before. In my opinion, TWRP recovery is better than Philz or CWM, but if you want, flash the recovery that gives the better results for you.
When my screen hangs at "rebooting recovery" I simply turn the phone off and reboot again into recovery and it usually works.

Help!!! think i bricked it!

So I am working on a SM-T230nu for a buddy, We were going top root it for him but after I installed twrp he took it home and i dont know what he did. I think he tried flashing twrp again, but it failed and he just rebooted.
point being that at this point it is a black screen, but when i plug it into the computer i get the "rocovery has encountered an issue , select recover in kies and try again" screen but it only flashes it for an instant every ten seconds. and the computer does not recognize it. when i go to odin it does not show any connected devices. i already tried every button combination and opened her up and pulled the battery ribbon, but it does the same thing as soon as i plug it back in. Has anyone seen this before? is there any way to get back to recovery mode?
Go to Download Modus.
Go into Odin and install a stock rom.
The Recovery should be overwritten with the standard one.
Then it should work and you can install TWRP again.
That works for me when i had a bootloop.
infinite reboot
I have the same situation, but already I flashed the stock rom, and the problem continue, infinite reboot, I can't into recovery mode, only download mode.....any idea?
You can also install a recovery with odin. I would try first to do that and then install another rom. No error in odin installing stock rom?

Booting into recovery

When i try to boot into recovery, I see that the phone is trying to install some update. It then says no command goes into recovery. Any idea how to fix it so it just goes straight to recovery?
This is normal.
Phone is looking for updates.
No worry.
