So I've been hearing news that HTC will launch another HTC m8 variant at its event next month. The HTC m8 eye.

If so this would be the device we all want. M8 body and features, 13mp duo camera. If so I would be interested to see if they would offer some kind of trade in program. Cause I'm getting tired of my low quality camera. That is the only flaw. I have a dslr and a compact camera but my smartphone is always with me so it would be great to have a good camera.
Thoughts?

We have closed threads on this before as this forum is for the M8 only. All other devices belong in their own device specific forum, or if no specific forum has been created in the XDA OT section.
Also threads like these will become a device comparison or which device is better thread very quickly and these are also not allowed.
Many thanks,

Hello
I'm thinking of moving to htc one coming from an s3. I need your input regarding this, I'm tired of Samsung lags and plastic feeling of the phone. .they are all the same plastic....s3 s4 note 3..all plastic.. doesn't have the premium feel it is suppose to..
Anyone that come from an s2 or s3 or s4 to Htc one can give me his input regarding how sense5.0 is, how does the phone works, the screen, the battery its not removable (I don't like this deal)
Please give me some advises. ..you dont have multi windows on htc one, right?
Any help or advice is appreciated
Thnaks

Mate to be honest, i have couple of friends that moved from S4 to ONE, just by looking at me and my ONE... It is the best phone at the time, and you have always a AOSP build that will have (soon i hope) the split window capability.. The rest is flawless
In my opinion, the HTC One is the hottest piece of mobile hardware in the world right now. It just won the mobile award of the year. The developer support for the One is tremendous. The XDA devs love it. That's more than enough to make any sensible person turn from any other device. I mean, like seriously, most of the XDA devs use it as their daily driver and/or primary development device. Just have a look at the main portal and you'll see that most articles feature the One.
However, the best answer is to figure it out yourself. Just go to youtube and watch some reviews. Search "htc one vs s3" and "htc one vs s4" and "htc one vs anything". Watch these reviews from a couple of different uploaders, so you'll get a broader point of view.
Hi,
We don't allow device comparison/suggestion threads as there are plenty of threads for such discussions in the General forums.
Please direct your question to the device suggestion thread or just search for the answers to your questions.

Hi guys!
Here I bring a speed test between two of the best smartphones of today. The test consists of see who opens and closes before the different types of commonly used applications and a couple of games a lot of weight.
Who do you think is faster? Will it hold type the LG G2 with its Snapdragon 800?
I leave the video for yourselves ye see the differences:

How about the comparison? I would appreciate you to subscribe to the channel, click on i like and share vĂdeo.
Soon we will compare the smartphones with the new LG G3!
Greetings and thanks!
I appreciate the comparison video but just going to let you know that soon a mod will rain on your parade as device comparison isn't allowed in device specific fora. I personally think such comparisons should be OK in the general section but the staff is the staff.

We do allow device comparisons ... in the official thread only. Device comparisons usually bring out the fanboys and flaming which is why it's only allowed there.
Thank you for your understanding.

Hi everyone is it worth a switch from sony z2 to opo? I care for battery and camera that's all. Sony is slow on their updates which is terrible but i do like the phone. Don't like the low call volume sometimes people can't hear me. Please share your thoughts. Thanks

I've had the Z2 and i must say this is definitely an worthy update the one and only thing i think the Z2 excels in might be the camera but custom and official rom support is way better with the one
There are 3 threads already established that are devoted to discussions about devices, please read, and if necessary, repost your question in one of these threads: The what should I buy thread or the The Device Suggestion Thread or the The Device Comparison Thread.
There are also several other discussion threads that you probably should review to help you. They are What phone do you wish you had? or
The Worst Android Device That You've Ever Had & Why or even this place that talks about The best phone you ever owned.
So, I know that a lot of company goes into XDA and actually read the user comments especially Sony, although they still make ****ty phone. So I want to come up with the idea that you would want in the successor of the M8.
here is the rules...pick top 3 only..picking the screen size is a gimmie, it does not count as a vote.
my top 3
bigger battery
waterproof/dustproof
bigger speakers
