fake 00499901064000 IMEI problem on s4 i9500

BRO I FLASHED A ROM on my gs4 i9500. after flashing i lost my original imei no. and network not work now . after this i flashed another but nothing happend remain same ... as a brother can anyone help me to how can i get back my original imei and use my sim cards again . Lots of user said that they are facing a Fake IMEI problem in Galaxy S4 it showing 00499901064000 as IMEI. i have the same problem.. pls pls help anyone

You have a Efs backup?

Have you tried flashing a different modem? That usually fixes it for me. Try flashing the DDUBMF8 modem, it works great for me.

I assume you don't have a efs backup but well let's make this simple
if you do have a backup you can easily get the IMEI back to original state.
if you don't

it has been working for many users (but i'm not sure if it works for S4) i've never had corrupt IMEI only stone dead one :laugh: (on s4)
i had the s2 with the fake IMEI but i was never able to recover it, now i can't give it a go since the last person who had it "my friend" says her friend of her has it and her friend of her says that my friend has it so it's lost case to try recovering it even though i'd like to recover it
Well i wish you all the best! you will need it samsung and their efs partitions are tricky i know they've got an tool to write the IMEI to the correct partition but not sure its released,

1. IMEI, not emei
2. do you have efs backup?
3. ROM version?
without these info I can only advice you to send me your wife with her phone for some two weeks.

[Q] Not Registered on network (gt-i9500)

I have downloaded a latest stock Rom from sammobiles and flashed it using Odin.
After flashing everything works fine except Sim card. phone detects the Sim card and shows the signals also. and when I make a call on my number, I can hear the tone like call is receiving at other end but phones does not ring.
My IMEI number has changed to something like this 004451121002 .
I don't have the backup of EFS partition either.
I had same problem on my Galaxy s3 few months back and solved it by flashing patched kernel and patched modem.
not been able to find any patched modem for galaxy s4.
Please help to solve the problem.

Seem like a modem bootloader mismatch.....

I have Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-i9500
I have flashed this rom I9500UBUGNI1_I9500PSPGNI1_PSP
sorry but dont know what was the last rom I had.
but my phone region is KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).

More details needed I think.
Has it EVER worked? (i.e. did you just get the phone and it failed?) (just in case "working on Android 5" means that is what is on the phone and not that it WAS working on v5 )
What was the last thing you did before it stopped?
What firmware or ROM are you using?

the phone is working fine except network issue...
MY android firmware is N9005XXUGBNL8
The imei no and baseband are also ok .. plzz help me
The firmware is orginal downloaded from sammobile
i have been using this lollipop firmware from 6 months

Change your sim card .
Check your APN in mobile network settings .

i also have the same problem. possibly hardware issue?

the sim works in all other mobiles..
and other sim also not working in my phone

This is sounding like hardware issues. Last thing to try would be download and install fresh version of your firmware, just in case something in your set up has become corrupted.

Backup your EFS partitions with EFS Pro. Then flash latest Samsung stock.

For network, you need QCN file, search google for N900 QCN CERT, you'll find a lot of them.

yes i find alot but when i install anyone i lost my original imei and imei is changed with imei certificate. :crying:
network issue is not solved. again i repair my original imei by z3x but then i lost imei certificate -_- i can't find my original imei certificate. what should i do plz help me if you know about. i have imei cert problem

Flash any combination file for your device model.
Then flash original firmware.
That way it should revert your phone to it's 1st state.
