[Q] Galaxy 3 Custom Rom BY motafoca

I know the custom rom is still not finished yet.. but can some one tell me how do i use these beta(pre-releases) which are listed in these thread...
step by step guide if possible...

WOW it worked:
What i did:
1. Downloaded the custom ROM (only the PDA file basically)
2. Loaded JPF ROM To ODIN normally, using all the original files
3.HOLD POWER+VOLUME DOWN+HOME Download mode
4. Flashed it, once it was successful I loaded to Odin ONLY the PDA file which came with the custom ROM package
IT DID NOT Booted successfully
5. Turn off the phone
6.Hold POWER+VOLUME+HOME keys together
Selected Factory rest/wipe data
7.Rebooted WOW IT WORKED!

I have the same problem as you. I can´t loaded the phone after succesfull flash. But you wrote that you downloaded some PDA file too, but I haven´t got smt like this in download Please, can you help me? thanks

its not a good rom...
1. looks really bad, (looks) not at all impressive...
2. i dont see any improved speed.....
i guess gsam's stock aosp 0.1 custom rom is 100 times better than this.....
gsam , if u are seeing this, please we want next updated version of your great rom..

Hmm,
I think the custom rom by Motafoca is uite good. Atleast no bugs till now, and great battery life. As for the looks I dont think it is any different to the other ROMS. It is just a matter of installing a launcher of your choice if you dont like Ream launcher.
By the way combined with your glossy green framework everythink looks enticing!
By the way Nakul, is there a chance of having that green themes of yours in other colors too? Like sky blue maybe??

yes thats exactly i am gonna release another theme.....
blue coloured with entirely different icons..
and hope if dark lestats deodexed rom is up, my theme would be full coz the stock apps would also then can be changed.....

Hi. Just like to share my brief experience with this rom and highlight a problem to the dev. Everything was fine, but the samsung keypad no longer worked well. It could only input numbers in the portrait 3x4 mode. The reason why I'm using the 3x4 is because this phone's my mom's and it's much easier for her to hit the larger 3x4 buttons than the smaller ones on the Qwerty keyboard.

Pink colors after update to ics

I get a problem after update my galaxy note to ics official. I dont have white colors on my screen... just pink glow. help!! sorry for my english

Try maybe restarting your phone, if that doesnt work. Try pulling out the battery and wait 5 minutes then put it back in and start the phone again..

I try this like a 20 times and nothing

mybe some kernel can fix this ??

no its pink. only when i do sequence home vol down power colors looks normal

when I turn on the phone colors are good for few seconds and than its comming a pink glow

Try to install GB, root, flash abyssnote kernel. Download Some ICS with .zip extension and flash all files except the kernel.
If this wont fix your problem, i will send my note to service center...

and still the same problem. nothings helps.

I've sent my Galaxy Note to Service Center...
The mainboard was with problem (HARDBRICK by MMC_CAP_ERASE) and was replaced by a new one.
The display was with problem (PINK COLOR) and was replaced by a new one too.

hi, really need help here..after unplugged my phone, it's battery indicator suddenly drop from 100% become 96% in no time..already root my phone and using the best rom for this phone but the problem still unresolved..help me plz..tq

Which rom and kernel are u using.............? Try flashing stock rom back with stock kernel and check if the battery life comes to normal and if it still is abnormal, i am afraid u need to buy a new battery or it could be a hardware issue actually ................

I too have the same problem but it doesn't matters m using from feb and till now no problem

hate to hear if it will involve hardware....now i'm on creed 3.5..but this prob exist before i flash this rom actually..ok, gonna try back to stock and see what will happen..

phone very good for daily use..battery also long lasting..
just today i want to find the solution..and to add knowledge too..that's all...

OK, so that is it don't flash stock , it will remain then also it is a hardware issue of most of the sgy but it never makes any changes to ur device hardware.............. sorry, to say u to flash stock rom as i was not having ur full information......................
never take tension about ur sgy , it will always remain in a good condition as it is been blessed by thousands of galaxy y users......:good:

is it true this was a hardware issue? as i remember i don't face this problem before i was started to root and flash custom rom..

[Q] JellyBlast 3 F***ed up my Galaxy Pocket heelp

I recently installed the JellyBlast v3 with 3.0.4 patch to my Samsung Galaxy Pocket, everything works fine except for some.
1. Device can't detect SD card
2. Bright white screen appears once the Power Button is pressed
3. Can't connect device to PC
4. Help me pls

Just flash stock rom via odin

My God…
Am I not actualized or Jelly Blast is supossed to work too in the SG Pocket?
From my knowlegde this ROM is for SAMSUNG Galaxy Young GT-5360 ONLY.
I think that you have to restore it using your nandroid backup via cmw or flash stock rom using odin. Search for the phone that you're using man.

First of all, before flashing anything, you should make a backup. If you dont have a nandroid backup, go and search for stock roms and odin for your galaxy pocket (be specific with your phone model).

Uh huh, the same as mine when I tried to flash GalaxyY's ROM-JellyBlast with my GalaxyPocket (Mehehe I know that this ROM is not meant for Gpocket, just experimenting) so the results are the same as yours, can't detect SD card and memory card, white screen appears if the device put off and USB storage is not accessible. So, what flashable kernel or ROMs you have in your SD card storage? if you have the vM00 kernels, try to flash some of that then flash a ROM THAT IS compatible with Gpocket. If not, flash your STOCK ROM by using Download mode and download the required files. Search the thread where GT-S5300 stock roms exist

-I forgot, next time DO NOT FLASH ANY ROMs or KERNELs that is not for your device! or else it will totally softbrick your device or even worst (THE HARDBRICK STYLE)

i flashed my galaxy pocket with jellyblast v3 for pocket....succesfully but after i could not download from the play store to my fon it tells me could not install on storage or usb......can any body help me fix this problem????PLS

There is no such thing as the best rom - best rom comments also are against xda rules as you just get spam & arguments

[Q] Help screen display pixelated

Hi everyone , firstly i have search the forum (and web/googling) my phone problem but canot find anything like my phone's problem..
so here my problem,
i have samsung galaxy young
i have rooted it and curently run it with nemesis one p rom.
the problem is my display screen keeps showing blury or a bit pixelated display on anything like wallpaper ,image ,icon ,games ,ect..just like having a 150 or more density
but my density is at 120
tried to change to 100 and 110 but the blurry / pixelated thing not change at all.
tried to flash to stock rom, replace the lcd with the new one but nothing change my phone keeps displaying things like a very old cellphone
can anybody help me with this?
i would be so greatfull..the phone work fine but its realy anoying to see image and games when my phone displaying it poorly

Did you install chainfire 3d ? If yes , then change the default open gl setting and pre app gl setting i.e. Uncheck (remove tick)
on all option like reduce texture to 16 bit........ Bla bla bla
And then reboot

Make a nandroid backup of ur phone ....
Then revert back to stock via odin nd check if the problem still persist...
If it does... Then ur display is broken .. If nt.. Then mayne an app or rom is ...

sorry when ss the phone and copy it to pc the pic is normal (like other phone) but in my phone..its showing just like 8bit (colour/chanel) or less :crying:

my phone display is just like these or even a litle worst i think just to add some clue of my phone condition

Flash Stock ROM using Odin and see if it is better or else take it to a Service Center....
Since the ROM you're using is banned on Xda i don't think you'll get any more support....
however i think that these might be a malfunction of the so called 'better' screen display tweaks included...
