I went to toggle WiFi on and accidentally changed the toggle to wifiAP.
I can't change it back. Probably because I don't know how I changed it from Wi-Fi to wifiAP.
Any help? AOSPA 4.3

Hello,
You might get a faster answer by posting this question in the thread of the ROM that you are running.

That may be true however the method should be the same between all aosp Roms. I just need to know how to toggle it back. They have a little box on the top right of the toggle so you can see which one is active. All of them are left box except the wifiAP one. Should be simple to change it back, maybe.
Edit: got it. Have to touch the little box in the toggle specifically. Hard to do with toe thumbs

So I've searched through the threads and there doesn't really seem to be an answer for this other than to use something like widgetlocker, which I don't really want to do because I would like to still be able to use the music player controls from the lock screen. I'm just so annoyed by the haptic feedback every time I want to unlock the phone!
Does anyone know of any way to disable this?
btw Running Azure 1.0.1
Same here. But sometimes, if there is no answer in search means the problem can be solved easily... But I'm still finding the answer too
Go to: Menu - Settings - Security, then uncheck the "Use tactile feedback" option. Hope this is what you need.
@Rapier - yeah, I tried that but unfortunately all it does is disable all haptic feedback except for when unlocking the phone :S
Anyone have any ideas?
have been looking for this too a while ago and i have found this in the hero forums:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6521199&postcount=174
I haven't had the time back then to test it out myself so i don't know if it will work

Strange. For me it works exactly as it should. Is disabling the feedback only for the unlock pattern, on the other keyboards, dialer and so on, haptic feedback is still present.
Are you using stock or custom ROM? I recall you've said something about Azzure. Maybe this is the issue. I'm using stock ROM and have no problems disabling through the way I told you.

Ohhh ok yeah I guess that's the problem there. I'm running Azure 1.0.1 and unfortunately there does not seem to be any option on my ROM to disable the haptic feedback for the lockscreen as it uses the vanilla lockscreen, for which I believe there was no option to remove haptic feedback. But yes, I do recall being able to turn it off when I was running a stock ROM.
Well, that's a bummer, but thanks anyway!

You cant on Stock. Shows how rushed or poorly thinked through the 4.2 update was in my book.
Edit: look for widgetsoid or something like that on play store though.
Or use CM10.1.
And configure your QS as you wish.
Stock quick settings wifi button is useless:silly:... what's the point in that? it's quicker just to go to main settings.
For anyone still don't know, if you want to quickly access Bluetooth or Wifi settings page, just tap on the "label" underneath the Wifi/Bluetooth icons and you will go directly into the settings page.
Just my 2cents
Nice one cheers mate

Looks like you have a Custom ROM isntalled, not stock one.
Cm11 is maybe Cyanogen Mod 11.
3G/2G
Is there any way to add 2G/3G switch in quick settings pan?

Nope, only 4G on/off
You'd need a framework modification for this, i'd assume.
Anyone know how can we access quickly the other settings?
I really miss that option.
Plus 2g/3g toggle would be nice.
Thanks mate, specially just upgrade from kitkat

Can someone help please. A simple thing but annoying the hell out of me. I've enabled System UI Tuner. But still can't customise the bar. At quick settings. I can see the hotspot button but it won't let me turn it on or anything. I can't see it in my notification bar.Its definitely not hidden in the status bar. So unsure what the problem is. Can someone help. Thanks
have you tried to use it? i've found in the past that hotspot does not show in settings until you've used it at least once.

Is there any way to change the button layout on the navigation bar on a stock rom? Trying to see if there are alternatives that don't involve root, since I'm debating going back to stock (I really don't use many of the benefits of root access). It seems like the consensus is that there's code hidden already in android for this feature, but it's been disabled.
I'm really only trying to switch the recent apps button with the back button, ever since my samsung days, it's been ingrained in my head

In developer options make sure animation scale on all 3 are at 1x. Then swipe down from top of screen and there should be a settings cog. Press and hold till it spins, this enables system tuner. In there you can change button layout.
It was removed from the developer preview

I should clarify. The developer preview had the feature, but they took it out when they made the official build. I am on the latest official build currently.

Ok, they must have removed it in February? I'm on January n4f26j and have it enabled.

Man, I JUST flashed back to the latest stock and got my stuff set back up. TBH i'm almost getting used to the flip, so if I can't fix this, then it's not the end of the world

Out of curiosity, do you have battery saver on when trying to get system tuner? I couldn't get it to work unless it was off, then afterwards I turned it back on.

Did anyone figure this out? I'm rooted on the latest stock rom.
Doesn't look to be, it's odd if they removed it. I was on january patch and had system tuner enabled and updated to February and is still active.
