hi, im new here and i has loking to install a rom in my device, but i cant identify its version, please help me.
on About devices tab
i get this:

Its for 99% a fake Galaxy S5 because of the MT6572 cpu (MTK) and the wrong kernel version and the SM-G900 version doesn`t excist. Install Phone Info or CPU-Z from Play for a positive identification. You can write about anything in the build.prop. CPU- Z shows the real hard/software components.

i know its a fake, just wanted to change to a new rom and mess with it for a bit, guess i cant and better not.

I received this Galaxy S4 from a friend of mine who I no longer have contact with. For a while, I've tried upgrading from 4.3 to 4.4 using the regular in-phone option with no luck. It goes through the download and installation and optimization of apps but it still stays at 4.3. My friend had told me he had rooted and messed with the software on the phone but that it should be fine. I just can't seem to get the automatic update to work.
When I look in the 'About Phone' option, I see the following:

Hi ,
Usually the bloatware...other than that they are the same.
not that that brand is not the problem is to format the phone and be erased the imeis and does not recognize my sim sim thing that if it works for that get into another mobile and if it works as I said before is not that only brand that is a clone of s5
I got a page with a ROM a link to download a ROM but when installed had the same problem does not recognize me the sim does not leave me to put the pim and IMEI I get invalid IMEI and when cial change the code i get that fail to write imei radius due to unavailable or something else
and aside no longer it makes me Samsung s4 s5 sini I pass the data to see if I can tell where to download a ROM thanks for everything

Do you mean Overclock?
If so... try using Kernel Adiutor or Use a custom kernel.
Use VoLTaqe Kernel and overclock up to 2 GHz for A15 cores and 1.5 GHz for A7 cores using Synapse.
