[Q] CM11 - BetterBatteryStats - Defy Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, battery problem on latest CM11, but I had it on all nightlys. I have 3 times more phone awaken then screen on time. Battery usage say Android os is using more battery then screen itself. No installed programs that would wake device constantly and I always have clean install.
Settings. 3g is off same as sync, data is on and only viber is active, no hangouts. I use betterBatteryStats but I cannot understand what is keeping phone awake.
kernel wakelocks: wakeup_driver 22 min, power manager service 5 min...
partial wakelocks: connectivityservice, audioMix and alarmManager
alarms: com.android.phone 8/hour, viber 6/hour, and com.google.android.gsm 6/hour
cpu states is OK, every mhz is used
process: suspend is firs one used with few hours. 2:25 hours and others is in few mins only...
On original ROMs and CM7.2 battery was good. I dont want to give up on CM11 because of this.:crying:

[Q] Battery problem, stand-by

Hi all. Here's the thing. Yesterday i've charge my galaxy (up to about 90%) set up alarm for morning, and going to sleep. In morning my battery was empty, i don't have idea why, because i push power button to "sand-by" on my phone in that night. What's the deal? Stand-up time was about 7h - is there any fix for that, or maybe it's some kind of bug? Oh that was my first stand-by mode for so long time (phone is pretty brand new, about 3 days from purchase)
Few words about phone:
-i9000XXJF5
-no root, flash, and any modyfication
-in phone i have about 20 instaled apps, 4 widgets on
-no task killer
-about 3 days from purchase phone
-home screen set on LauncherPro
Any advise guys?
Sorry for my english.
There must be some app draining your battery. My SGS usually drops only 4% in battery percentage during the night (I turn of 3g at night using SwitchPro, and I'm on JM2).
Have you installed the latest Facebook for Android app? It drains battery a lot because it keeps the phone awake 100% of the time. Uninstall it, or at least Log out from within the app, so that your phone can sleep in idle mode.
Yes... the problems of Android... I use CPUMonitorMini to keep an eye if any apps go rogue and start hitting my CPU 100% and draining my battery dry.

No i don't have this app. Maybe the problem was autosynch option ON.

Battery Statistics Thread

I thought we could have a thread posting battery statistics in the similar fashion to the one on the Captivate General forums.
1. Make sure your battery is properly calibrated.
2. Charge the phone overnight.
3. Start using your phone in the morning and do not charge throughout the day
4. When your battery hits ~5% record your statistics.
Here's my latest stats:
Still using K10H 256hz kernel on BUPJ8 Doc Rom v9
Have a black background with a black theme, brightness on Auto today.
5% battery after 14h4m
Display 95% with Time on 3h41m6s
Cell Standby 3%
Phone Idle 1%
In Battery History
Running 40.3% 5h40m without sleeping
Wifi on 16.7% 2h21m
I was using JuiceDefender till I got home and also had 3g disabled a majority of the day, however after I got home I wanted to see the drain without juicedefender on.
Drain without juicedefender when on 3g was pretty appalling, probably a % every 5-10 minutes.
Mostly just
-Bit of Tweetdeck
-Few minutes browsing web
-Texting
-Emails
-1 phone call (5 minutes)
-Read Ebooks for 30 minutes
-Played Dungeon Hunter for 23 minutes
-Music for 1hour
-Grocery list for 18 minutes while shopping

[Q] Battery drain in deep sleep

Hello,
I have a rooted stock nexus 7.
I have the following situation:
I turn the screen off and leave it for 30 minutes. Using better battery stats and cpu spy I verify that 28 minutes were deep sleep and the rest around 200-340mhz.
When I check batter monitor widget (set at refresh once every minute) i see that I have around 343-156 mah drain in all those 30 minutes.
I even forced my cpu frequency when screen is off to 51mhz and by using cpu spy verify it is indeed true. When checking with battery monitor widget I still get values around 343-156 mah. Also tried to force at 100, 240mhz - still the same values.
Wifi, gps, bluetoth, nfc is off.
Partial wakelocks are (sumed all of them) 3-4 minutes total.
Anyone has any ideas regarding the source of the problem ?
Thank you !

[Q] Cure for the nlp wakelocks?

Hi!
I'm searching for the solution to cut off wakelocks caused by NLP. I've tried all that I can find — install/reinstall/update Google Services, turn off location reporting/history/device manager, turn off Google Now.
Nothing works. Battery loses 30% for 8-9 hours (charge to 100% — go to sleep — wake up to find my phone only have 68-73% battery )
Number 1 in battery stats is "Android os" with 1.5 - 2 hours of "keep awake". In Wakelock detector number 1 in the CPU eaters is Google Services with 20-30 minutes in "NLPWakelock" and "NLPCollectorWakelock".
Android version: Cyanogen 10.2 (M1)
I don't know what to do.

[HELP] N4 Won't Enter Deep Sleep! Extreme Battery Drain!

Recently, my N4 decided to no longer enter deep sleep.
I have no idea what the cause is.
I'm on Mahdi ROM 2.5 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/orig-development/rom-mahdi-rom-2-4-t2581007
My kernel is Hell's Core B46 T4 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/general/qa-kernel-hells-corejb-kitkat-b43-t2495373
I have never had any problems with the Kernel, so I don't think it's the kernels problem.
As well as, I have switched to several different kernels, and nothing's changing this behavior.
About 1 week after using Mahdi(about yesterday/the day before), this problem began occuring.
I tried a full wipe, and just installing the ROM no GApps or anything. It still would not enter deep sleep.
I tried flashing PAC Rom 4/18 Nightly, and no success there either.
I have been suggested that I am having WakeLocks.
So I downloaded WakeLock Detector, and Better Battery Stats.
According to them, most of the wakelocks are coming from " Android System" & "Google Services".
I have tried using the WakeLock Blocker installed in Mahdi to stop the WakeLocks by these two, it seems like it's working a little bit.
As now, I am getting a 1 minute or 2 of deep sleep per hour, as before I wouldn't even get a minute in a whole 24 hours(I haven't touched the phone once within these periods) But, the rest of the time it just sit's on the lowest CPU Frequency(81 Mhz).
I am pretty much stumped on what to do now, so I am coming here to ask you smart fellows of XDA. :good:
I'm in quite a rush as school starts back up tomorrow, and I need my phone.
Any suggestions are helpful :3
Edit: It might be helpful to know, right before I began having WakeLock Problems, my battery was all psycho. It would "charge fully" in 5 minutes. Die in 15 minutes. Then I can reboot it and it would have 60%.
I ended up rebooting it everytime it died, to COMPLETELY drain the battery. Then when it would no longer boot, I charged it fully & that was fixed. Now it's just these dumb WakeLocks.
Did you try stock ROM? If you still get wake locks in stock ROM then the one or more of your apps is rogue.
For finding the best results, turn off always scanning in WiFi, turn off location.
