We have a Diamond Background Changer which changes wallpaper according to time of the day. Would it be great also if we also have a wallpaper changer that can changes background according to battery life remaining?
Probably we can also 'remove' the battery indicator at the top taskbar (freeing up space for a cleaner look) if such an app is possible.
* Just a suggestion. I do not have any programming knowledge hence i don't know if this is even possible.
Thank you
Would you really install it and use it?
sure its, even quite "easy" to do, just adapt the mortscript from the daylight background changer, to take the batterystatus as input instead of the time...
i remember i saw some commands in the mortscript manual whic make it possible to read out battery status...
but on the other hand, why would you want it? you already have a battery indicator right on top of all things....
having a changing background to indicate status doesnt seem logical to me...
Well Ithink it would be very handy if the background would slowly change from green to red using backgrounds in according colours...
i think it's a great idea.
of course i would use it, haha. I have to admit that i'm an app / rom junkie.
Anyway i was thinking if it would be great to remove the whole top and bottom taskbars for a totally 'windowmobileless' look. BUt to do that we need something to replace the battery/ network/ connection/ sound indicators.
The Quickstart menu shouldn't be a problem as i have high hopes for 'touchlaunch'
I actually think this is not a bad idea at all. If you look at some of the colour battery icons, this kind of makes sense. The moment your phone is activated for whatever reason, you can immediately see that status of the battery, without having to look at the (rather small) icon on the taskbar
Hence.. Hello to developers.. any takers?
Great idea, I would use it too! We could add a corresponding battery symbol on each wallpaper, like in S2U2 but smaller
Cool idea, I think also if the wallpaper could change based on the weather that would be really cool.
I installed a ROM yesterday and now my notification bar, once it's expanded/pulled down, has a certain amount of transparency... a lot more transparent than I'd like.
Are there any simple mods I can do to change the alpha values to make it more opaque or have I just got to put up with it? Or is it possible to install a different notification (expanded) screen?
Thanks.
The notificatiin bar can be modified from theme, so you have to find a good one for your rom.

I see, so I can't just modify that current screen? I have to overwrite the whole current theme? Was kind of hoping to keep it how it is and just get the background colour to solid black of the expanded notifications bar.
Thanks anyway, was beginning to think this could be a possible scenario.

Of course you can just change the background.
Thats how a theme is done, taking all the files and modifying them.
You would have to find the files responsible for the notification bar and change them to suit your needs.
How to do that i don't know, but i'm sure the forum search and google will help you out, when you search for something like "android theme tutorial" or something like that.
I remember when the S4 was released the taskbar was 100% transparent. After that they rolled out an update which made the taskbar semi-transparent. They have adopted this same technique with Note 3. Can someone show a way I can make the taskbar fully transparent? Thanks!

You can download the Xposed Framework application for the Note 3 but this requires ROOTING your device to be able to edit the low level functions to get your desired result. Should you wish to leave your phone STOCK, you can download the Super Status Bar which will allow you to achieve your desired results and then some:

Hope this helps!
Are you referring to the notification bar? Because mine is fully transparent I can't for the life of me find out where I set it, though....
Edit: Oh, it's part of Apex Launcher.
Is there a way to change the background color of individual notifications? What I mean is on the attached picture, the drawer background is set to transparent black but the test notification itself has the grey background to it. Does anyone know of a way to change that? I tried searching but i'm not sure what terms to use for it. I'm willing to mod framework-res, but an Xposed module or something would be nice.
Forgot the picture ;P
So I'm trying to live with the fact that I can't remove the 3minit battery and clock from the ROM I'm using, but I have an issue that is driving me insane. The battery and clock are set to white, so when I go to a screen with a white background, like settings, the battery and clock disappear.
Is there any way to make them change to black like the rest of the system status bar icons? If not, I guess I will be going back to my old ROM...

Go into the 3-minit clock app and tap each one of the bubbles to open up the settings you can change the color of the clock parts there then click on the bubble at the bottom and select apply changes.
As for 3minit battery you can change the colors of the battery if you download one of the colorable battery themes

Yes, I understand that, but there is no way for the color to adapt to the background. So if the background is light, the color should be black. If the background is dark, then the color should change to white. With 3minit, it's either always black or always white (or whatever color I set it to). The system default is to adapt to the background. Why is that not an option?

What I always did with 3minit (before this V20 which I want battery in the second screen) I used it to hide battery, then use system settings for battery percentage in status bar. That way it should adapt.
Id look into the ModControl and ModInstaller apps being developed here for the V20.
It has the ability to add and remove a ton of ui mods. Depending on the rom it may change a good bit as it replaces the systemui with a modded on.
But it would allow you to turn 3mini clock mod off or on in your rom. Making it a revert to stock kinda option persay. It should be very universal on v20 stock roms.

Unfortunately, the mods are hard-coded into the ROM and are not configurable through ModControl, which would have made better sense. I like customization, but not at the expense of options. If I wanted that, I would have stayed with an iPhone. I think the best solution is to just go back to your ROM.
3minit clock
Hi,
Please did you manage to get the clock changes the color based on the background ? Thanks
