Is anyone able to port the Quick Remote apk from the G3 to work on the G2?
I extracted the APK from a G3 rom and posted it HERE
I know that the G2 QRemote app works perfectly on AOSP roms but the G3 version is so much nicer.
Thanks!

QSlide is a nice feature, but after seeing it, MultiVeiw on the Galaxy S4 looks far nicer. Is there any known port or known method to port this feature to the LG G2?
Hello, it's build in Omni Rom
Edit: sorry I was thinking about SplitView...

You should definitely try out one of the awesome g flex rom ports with dual window or if you prefer running stock lg rom you can download the g flex split view mod and flash it in your recovery. This way you get resizeable windows in multi window just like on the Note 3

Sure I can recommend Rayglobe Flex rom which I am running with built in split view here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2590613 or you can just flash this mod to your lg g2 stock rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2590613 Have fun!

I have a D801, but the ROM says it's only for D802. Is there any D801 version, or could I do the kernel overwrite procedure here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2522808)?
Try this rom instead and don't forget to flash the d801 patch http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582845

If you compile for D802, I can test.
If all goes well, I advise you to create an official topic in G2 ANDROID DEVELOPMENT.
I'm sure many people will like AOSPB ROM.
Wow this is great! Looking forward to this. Ill try to flash this on my D800 this weekend. Thanks for this

Hey man, I just curious.
You are using AOSPB + CM device tree + CM kernel?
Will you try to compile for the D802 this weekend?
Do you have a G2 (D800)?

Booted up fine. The camera shows "can't connect to the camera" error. Actually it would be nice to have the snapdragon camera instead. The light/dark theme setting does nothing. Haven't tested everything but the ROM is really smooth. I really like this idea of a simple ROM.

Guys I just flashed CM 12.1 and I don't like its camera, is there any way I can get the stock LG G2 camera on it? Please guide me completely as I am a newbie, if not possible, tell me some other good cameras that would have plenty of features. Thanks

Hellp,
This forum is for newbies finding their way around XDA Developers, it isn't a themes and apps section.
Please visit here LG G2 Themes and Apps section and find an appropriate compatible camera mod for your device.

Not really "better", just looks the same as V30 camera APK from nougat (it's ported by xpirt and also present in Fulmics ROM).
Personally I prefer original G6 camera APP, it's simpler and much faster!
So to be honest, there's no point of extracting the app and flashing it over our Nougat one, I suggest you should just wait for Oreo or if you're that "impatient", you should try this port.

many thanx, though it seems the post you've mentioned is only applicable for rooted devices. my h870ds can't be rooted unfortunately
Honestly the Google camera is 10xs better vs either lg cam. Honestly the Oreo is nice but truly still over process and noisy. Just stick with stock lg or Gcam for sure
