Before rooting & flashing CM11, Swiftkey had the original LG emojis (which looking fairly close to the iPhone ones). However, after switching over to CM11 they have turned into the ugly Samsung emojis that look like all cartoony and are hard to differentiate. Is there any way to revert this or to install different emoji? Thanks so much.

slowly but surely I'm modifying my tw 4.4.2 to look more like GE (Google edition). So as the title says is there anyway I can do this?. The reason I just don't flash cm 11 is because I use the spen and camera a lot.
Hi all
So I have an interesting aesthetics / theme question. Here's the background: I have a S5 Dev Edition phone with TWRP. My first custom ROM was Team UBs 24jun version. I really liked the look of it (especially the small fonts and icons) but thought it was a bit unstable so I then installed the unofficial CM 10jun version. That worked well but some apps said they weren't compatible with it. So today I experimented with the new UB 13jul ROM. Unfortunately that wasn't too stable so I went back to the CM one. However after I reinstalled CM it looked quite different, with much larger icons and fonts.
Now in hindsight it looks like I didn't do a complete wipe in between UB and CM the first time around so CM must have picked up the system settings including fonts and icons that UB had installed. This time around after a full wipe CM installed its own defaults, which are much bigger. [I have CM on my Nexus 5 and it looks a lot more like that]. The apps that didn't work by the way do work now.
So my question to you all is do you know what UB's settings are for fonts and icons? I would like to replicate them under CM. Is there a theme setting that contains all of UB's presets?
I should also mention I have the full version of Nova launcher which I installed on CM, and UB had it as well. If it can be changed in Nova setting somewhere please let me now.
thx
PS - I tried to post this in the dev section under UB but it didn't let me, so posted it here.

Well, the easiest thing you could do is under nova launcher settings, go to look and feel, you can change the font and icon size there. I believe it only applies to launcher settings, so it won't change any of the system fonts or sizes. For those you just go to settings, display and there's a font section there... as far as I know themed roms occasionally change the DPI of the entire system, to give everything a cohesive feeling, but there are also a lot of things that need to also be modified when you change the DPI, so exactly copying the look of a particular ROM is not quite as simple as it sounds.
Hope this helps.
DPI question solved
Hi
So I figured out the best way to set the DPI is to download texdroider from the play store. It handles it across the board for the device and everything looks great. I set my DPI to 370 btw.
Thx
Hello to all,
First of all ,question .
The stock firmware of Samsung in 4.4.2 is a TouchWiz if i am not mistaken ?
If yes, let's go forward.
I have tried CyanogenMOD ,and some other ROMs,but i didn't like anything like the stock one. I just need the stock one without the bloat apps that has the company.
So i have find out with help the Google Play 5.0 ROM ,i really liked it,even though it's a bit different rather than the 4.4.2 but the 2 problems that i am having and if i can solve them i will keep the ROM is.
1. I want the keyboard of 4.4.2 into 5.0 . Why ? The reason is ,because first of all above the keyboard i had the numbers already installed, and the second reason is when you type in Greek "Good Morning" = Καλημέρα you need a tone in the letter έ WHICH it cannot be provided via 5.0 keyboard.
2.You don't have any program inside, which on 1 hand is good but on the other hand is a little bit tricky to find the "gapps" that you need like Maps.
3.The icons are PRETTY BIG on the start screen.
So any help ?
Thank you all.
Hi all, as the subject states does anyone know of a custom rom (slimmed preferably) that has black system UI (toggles, settings, dialer etc) running 5.1.1 for the n910f?
Anyone, anyway possible?
I'd recommend SimplRom v5.
It has a built in themer called SimplTool- it lets you colour everything to whatever you want so I'm sure you could colour different elements to make a black theme of your liking!
Plus it's super fast and highly reliable!
Just read the thread a little as some people have had issues- also backup your apps using Titanium as your google apps may not re-download when you install the ROM (this happened to me but it's a minor bug and the ROM is more than worth it).
Enjoy!
Hope it helps!
For apps definitely try Team Black Out if you haven't heard of them...I LOVE to black out my phones....lol
Hello xda users!
I came here cause i couldnt manage to find any answer elsewhere.
Since I don't like the stock CM12.1 keyboard i tried to flash a samsung stock keyboard with cwm but the system ignores it
I've tried many keyboards apk but the only ones i like are the stock ones... is there any way to use stock samsung keyboard on Cyanogenmod 12.1
Google lg g2 keyboard gerardroid. There is also lg g3 keyboard if you keep scrolling the note 3 themes and apps section.
Samsung keyboard doesn't work in cm.
At least the lg keyboards has number row same as samsung's.
