I have a 16 GB Samsung galaxy s5 on Verizon. I've been trying to connect my phone to one of the jetpacks from Verizon and every time I try it doesn't give an error message it just refuses to connect. The jetpack will allow every other device on it to connect except for mine. Any help is appreciated thank you

Are you sure the passcode is correct for you to be accessing it? AFAIK you have to have them passcode locked.
Yeah it wasn't the password. I found the reset on the jetpack shortly after posting and after holding that for 10 seconds everything started working fine. Thanks for the help though

Ok, so I un-rooted my phone yesterday, and now I'm stuck. Before I go on I haven't paid my bill this month, and T-Mobile disconnected my 3G connection onto I pay my bill, but I'm stuck on my "Google Start-up", and every time I put my email and password in it doesn't connect.
Is there a way to skip this setup so I can use my WiFi connection on the phone?
Thank you.

That's the problem. I can't skip at the "Create Account"/"Sign in" page.

thats because you unrooted, only the dev builds and custom builds allow you to skip google sign in. you will need to borrow a sim card that has android feature.
sell, if you have a myTouch, than the answer is here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=588017
Checked it on my phone, it works.
I do have a myTouch, but I just tried it on MT3G and it doesn't seem to work for me. I'll keep checking though. Thanks for the link.
hey so I've been able to use the stock USB tethering on my Mako using using CM10.1 RC2 but i realized that T-mobile actually has been filtering my usage on other services on my computer like Steam account verifying or any browser aside from my default so i decided to go back and use my PDA Net+ app to try it. it used to work just fine for sure on stock ROM and i believe also since i've been using CM 10.1
So anyway whenever i try to use PDA Net it says, "Internet not detected on your phone. Please make sure you have good data service and try again." the problem here is i have perfect HSPA+ coverage. i tried taking out the SIM card and rebooting the phone, which worked a few times to get PDA Net to work again but now after like 3 tries it doesn't work at all and i consistently get that error message.
Has anybody else had this problem? should i update my CM, try another custom ROM? i tried reaching out to the PDA Net support but they gave me some bull crap generic response that was just plain old butt-stupid lol. Any help would be much appreciated!
PS yes i have the paid version of pda net/fox fi
I have just recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy Note 4. I love this phone and didn't have any problems until now. My phone will not connect to any WiFi and it will either say "Saved and Secured" or "Disabled." Either way, it won't connect. I've looked on some different websites and some suggested to reboot my phone. But, I don't know if they are a safe website so I didn't do that. Please help me.
No harm in rebooting, give it a shot.
I tried searching this fourm, online, and no results after countless hours.
This is my problem. At work there is one big open network with a lot of extenders everywhere. When I got my new phone phone from BB when I broke my screen I tried to connect to it and it says " Connecting...." for a few seconds then automatically goes to "Saved".
I tried the obvious, forgetting network, rebooting phone, restoring to factory, updating firmware, nothing has worked so far. It always goes from connecting to saved. Every other device has worked flawlessly besides this phone
My last few phones have had no problem connecting. I do not have the authority to reboot the whole system, change frequently, add a pw, basically I'm only allowed to connect.
Wondering if anyone has experienced this problem, and might have any ideas or solutions. This is the only network that has ever gave me a problem.
Thanks for taking your time to read and help!

Funny thing... I just got a brand new galaxy note 3 and it does the same thing... Making me think something with this Wifi setup and the galaxy family phones are not getting along. I'll try and see if I can talk to the Web tech and see if he can tweet something to get it to work.

Hope someone can help me. I am using an AT & T sim on a Verizon Galaxy S5 SM-G900V. Works well for the most part. The one thing that won't work is the Mobile Hot Spot. No matter what I do, I get the message "Checking Subscription Status.....Unable to Connect...Mobile number not found." Any suggestions on how to make this work so I can connect to my laptop? Phone is not rooted....at least not yet if I can avoid it I'd like to, but if that's the only way.....Point me where I need to go. Thanks!
