GS vs GS2 vs Note camera

I upgraded from the Galaxy S to the Galaxy S 2 a few months ago and realized the stock camera app does not come with panoramic shot anymore. Been using another app for this but it is not as seamless or smooth as the built in function with the original Galaxy S. GS2 also has less shooting modes (for one the add-me function, it used to be a lot of fun adding random objects to the photo without post edit). I'm now very tempted to buy the Note as that was the phone I intended to get instead of the GS2 - but does the Note have the panoramic shot built-in with the stock camera app? Also the flash on my GS2 seems harsh (blindingly bright) which I'm sure I can tweak if I know how (if you can educate me know that it would be much appreciated), does the flash on the Note go as bright? My work phone which is a HTC Desire HD has a similar flash but it is not as bright and the photos come out better...

What are you talking about... the Galaxy SII does have a Panoramic function. I've just checked mine and it's there.

I also checked mine and I have Panorama, it's in the options and not just a simple flick of a button! You need to hit the options, and then shooting mode then select Panorama. SGS2 stock rom!
I can't wait for my Note!

Does note's stock camera app have time laps mode?

I can't prove it since I sold my SGSII, but somehow I have the same feeling the Note takes better photos. Quick pics I took to test its details: http://imageshack.us/g/546/20111219094914w.jpg/

I looked for the panoramic mode before under options and I can swear it wasn't there. I went and bought a pano app and have since rooted my phone and now found the panoramic mode in my stock camera app after a comment above!

I would like the panoramic mode if it didn't lose so much resolution, i think you can get beter results by taking the photos in normal mode and use some Panorama software to make the photo.

I have both the S4 and S4 lte and the problem is the S4 lte camera is far inferior to S4 anyone know the reason why it is lower in quality ?

With stock firmware on both ?
Have you checked every settings of the app and everything?
Did a test in same conditions etc ? What's reaaly wrong ? The resolution, pixels, noise ?

yeah both on the same firmware and same settings .. do you remember with old phones when you try to take picture at night there is something like a moving fog and the picture isnt as clear as s4

Image quality degrades after capturing picture?

Hey people, how are you all doing? I too got a Galaxy Note III about a month ago and after a lot of experiences, I thought of asking for some advice.
When i use the camera app, the image looks clear and fantastic on the screen but as soon as I click capture, the saved image isn't what I see while capturing. I made sure I don't move the phone while capturing and tried it in different environments as well but the same continues.
I haven't rooted the phone yet and made sure that no app installed on the phones messes with the camera. So, any solution for the problem?

I had that on my S4 it was the lens so i took it back to the store and they changed it for me

[Q] Best Camera app for the S5

What do you guys think is the best camera app for the s5 and its camera?

Stock is OK, but also consider Camera Zoom FX and Google's own camera app.

Snap Camera HDR works even with buggy AOSP Roms (I checked on S4 and S5 versions)....
I went for the Pro version quite long time ago.
Now I use stock, because I stick to the ROMs cooked on the original firmware, missing stable Cyanogemod a little bit...

Yes it has. Just use 2 finger zoom on display. And you can configure the volumekey to zoom if you like since ANG2.

Next to the stock camera app i also use Camera FX Zoom and HD Camera Ultra.

Hi all Galaxy Note3 Snapdragon users!
I wanna make thread for users can upload images (REAR + FRONT) with 13 MP size.
I seem Note3 camera isn't better so, even Galaxy S4 camera too.
My brother phone camera (Pantech Vega Secret Node) has better camera which has same feature, same MP.
I not say, camera is worse, but in shot i'm if scale size, it's loss quality higher than other phone camera.
I soon upload result between 2-phone, but i want users upload image, maybe my phone issue?!
