There's not a lot of demand for this but here we go anyway haha!
This has only been tested on dynamickat 4.2 and all credit goes to bri315317 for his awesome rom. Also this will not work well with tw so install a 3rd party launcher that supports navbars.
1. First things first back up your rom incase you mess up something and your phone goes poof.
2. open up your build.prop located in your system folder with a file manager and add qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 as the last line in your build.prop
3. Reboot into recovery and Install the Aosp systemui that bri made for his rom.
If you don't wish to customize the navbar buttons then there's no need to proceed further.
4. Download xposed additions for xposed. This is used to disable the hardware buttons.
5. Download gravity box kk for xposed. This is used to customize the navbar buttons and other parts of the rom.
6. Make sure to install another launcher besides tw launcher because tw doesn't work well with softkeys. I installed nova launcher but Googles launcher works as well.
After you've done all of the above reboot and profit
Actually I've done some fairly serious googling to accomplish what you've outlined here.
Hardware home button has been my biggest issue since buying the device. Thanks a bunch

Huh, interesting. Do they show up for you at all? I've only turned it on once to try it out, worked fine but I only used it for a few minutes, so you probably have more insight than I do.
Does anyone else here a problem with the Dialer app? I have an extra bar at the top that is only made for the settings icon and it blocks the first contact.
Edit: Do I need AOSP UI now? I'm on Dynamic Kat 4.2 and was able to get a navbar before, but when I tried to add it just now to get a screen shot of my problem I just get constant UI Crashes.
This happens by editing the build.prop file and with using GB.

With the Aosp systemui I didn't get any crashes. As far as the dialer I'm not sure. Everything seemed ok to me

This is what I'm talking about. I thought for sure it covered up part of the contacts but it still takes up quite a bit of space.
That's because it adds the menu button. Which takes up space unfortunately. But shouldn't affect anything other then an eye sore

Hi all,
Modded the Go Locker Four Key a bit... First time I do this so hopefully you like it and I didn't mess anything up
Background is like the background of the Redux2 notification/multitasking bar (very dark grey), highlight color changed from blue to orange which also goes well with the Go Launcher Transparency Skin for widgets
1) uninstall the Go Locker Four Key if you have it installed
2) install GoLockerRedux.apk
3) Enable "Go Locker Four Key" again
Note: you need to have Go Launcher and Go Locker installed off course.

Awesome! Would it be possible to change the action of the SMS to go to email instead? And the phone go browser? I am on a non-phone device and that would be awesome. Love the theme! Very good work on it.
I'm only a noob at this, so I'm afraid my knowledge doesn't reach that far, sorry
maybe someone else can help out with that...
Ok, thanks. Yours is still the best theme out there. And go locker released changeable wallpapers, so its even better!
nice bro.
thanks
Thanks, I really like this lock screen!
One question though, do you know by any chance how to make it into a 24h clock? I thought that maybe if there was an .xml file it could be modified, but I have no idea where it installs and I'm not sure it would work.
Any idea how to get it to run on a Samsung Galaxy S2? The easy way, uninstall stock Fourkey, copy GoLockerRedux.apk to sd-card, install via clicking, doesn't work. Installer stops without error message but 'Application not installed'.
Needless to say that I like your work. That's why I'm trying to get it installed.
Installed this no problem at all. Nice colour change.

hi,
I'm sorry, no idea what might be wrong... a couple of my colleagues installed it on different devices without any issue... no galaxy s2 though.
Have you disabled the lockscreen before uninstall?

I finally got it to work. Really nice theme, I'm quite happy with it. I just changed the clock's font to a one more fitting to my other screens.
Cheers
Toscha
how about using the theme wallpaper as locker background?
I like this theme very much, except it seems to be flashed when I touch the circle. Can you fix it?
nice
thanks
Hi. I'm using a GO Locker Theme called Mango. And I can set a custom wallpaper but when I slide to unlock a lock image appears. So where are the themes files (the path to them) so I can look and try to change it? Because I want my custom wallpaper all along...
Seeing as there's a lot questions about this error I made this tutorial to make it easier for all in IceColdSandwich development thread. It's not really a fix as the issue will probably continue to happen, so it's more of a workaround for the issue.
So if you end up with a screen like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
do the following to resolve the issue.
Step 1
Press "menu" button on the phone and click on System Settings
Step 2
Click on ROM Control
Step 3
Click on "General UI"
Step 4
Scroll down and select the option: Hold back to kill
Step 5
Go back to home screen and long press back key until your launcher restarts.
If and when the error appears again you just need to restart the launcher with the back key, no need to go through steps 1-4 again.
If you use Nova launcher you can instead go to nova settings in step 1 and choose Restart Nova Launcher option from the bottom of the menu. - Thanks to TransientMotion for posting that option
As I've seen the posted comments below I decided to keep this solution here because, to be fair, it's by far the simplest. I understand that many launchers have built in option to restart, and Trebuchet restarts after exiting settings, but once you set the option to kill apps with back button then it's just a click away, no digging through options I hope this way satisfies everyone just because of the simplicity
And just to be fair, most of the times I find myself also digging through Nova options instead of using this one

Missleading
Not really a fix but a bypass.
Also you can go into Nova settings, and select 'restart nova' (its the 2nd to last option). Nova will restart and take you back to your homescreen with the text back to normal.

Great thinking will add it to OP. Thanks
Thanks buddy. I used to face this problem atleast once a couple of days. BTW sometimes only the text in the widgets gets corrupted, will this work then as well ?
yes ore press "menue" on homescrean "(laucher)settings" scroll down and hide "resart launcher". I tink workes in all ICS lauchers.
An alternative when using Trebuchet
I've found I can tap into Menu > Trebuchet settings, then back arrow out once to the home screen. This seems to restart Trebuchet and clear up the font issue. I figured this out before finding this thread so hadn't tried long pressing the back key from home.

I did try that app but it does not work properly with multiple user profiles.
Just tried it, and on cleanroom 1.3, the nav bar vanished completely. No way to restore with without rebooting into safe mode and uninstalling it.
CM10.2 Kanged rom has this feature in there as well as lots of others like the AppBar/Ribbon support, Halo Notifications, Center Clock, transparent bars, Bar colors and tweaks, theme support, AOKP keyboard, etc.
I've been using it for a few days and feels great. I'm not sure if I supports tablet mode, but I'm trying to get used to the stock UI on a tablet.

I have already tried that app and it was already mentioned in this thread as well. The app is very buggy and does not work well with multiple user profiles. Start on boot does not work either. I had sent an email through Play Store but never received any acknowledgement.
You can edit the DPI following these instuctions.

:silly: I replied in wrong thread. Anyway I just got NN7 and I'm testing it. I will check multiple accounts problem, but I cannot reproduce autostart on boot problem on any of my devices including NN7. On topic: PA rom allows to change navigation bar size or you can change device dpi as already suggested.

No worries. I think someone else said that set-on-boot does not work either. It could be related to multiple-user issue with my device.

Glad I could help.
As a long time LMT Launcher user i`d like to share this laucher with y`all, especialy when you`re running the stock rom.
Original dev`s thread link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330150.
Latest version atm to download http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2496715&d=1388963121.
Features many options that you can tweak to your liking and also you can\should disable the hardware keys so you can benefit of a full screen.
Disable\enable hardware keys:
Add a line to \system\build.prop\: qemu.hw.mainkeys=1. Save and exit and reboot.
Enable them again to change the value from 1 to 0, save and exit and reboot and the hardware keys are visible again.
For the lazy ones: you can install this app to (un)hide the HW keys here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gmd.hidesoftkeys&hl=nl.
Enjoy
Do you know a list of LMT key codes? I recently discovered that 1026 key enables to access to Power menu.

For sure. Been using this on my last few phones. Perfect on the N5 with no nav bar and Expanded Desktop mode. More screen real estate, cleaner looking, and more functional. Hard not to love it.

Anyone root it yet? Does the usual method per senor Heisenberg's directions work?
Post what's different guys.
7.1.1. Got a support tab in settings. Nothing but help guides. No support staff. New 'Moves' sub setting, which is where Gesture settings now live basically. Still looking for more...
Android Pay now pre-installed.
New Camera app? There's the grid options now.
New 'Restart' option when long pressing power button.
Keyboard has Gif support under emoji menu.
Not seeing anything more right now. Can't be bothered to check stock launcher as I use Apex. Sure there may be circular icons etc but I just don't care!
Seems like the battery Life improved, anyone?
I don't have the battery drain issue like 7.0

There are dozens of articles out there on what's new in 7.1.
I totally hate the support tab. It's completely useless for me, any other XDA member or even any non member with half a brain. In fact the whole settings page has gotten nasty post Marshmallow.
Otherwise things seem to be improving slightly with almost every iteration.

That's the only thing I haven't been able to get it to do so far. That and I don't have as many round icons as the pictures of pixel scenes show even though I have the pixel icons all installed and the pixel launcher
Probably a silly question, but I got the OTA when rooted. Is it safe to install it from there, or should I flash it manually (I've only modified build.prop for the Assistant and have the Pixel NavBar as a substratum theme).
