I have a GS4 from windmobile. I rooted it a few days ago. Now i have a problem where sometimes it takes along time to boot up, no music will play(says file can not be played), phone freezes when calling and can't receive calls. This issue is really concerning me. I have unrooted the device and wiped the cache but still the ame problem. If you know how to resolve this please help.

I've got problem with my S4, today i flash it with OMEGA v10 rom... After this my phone get some problem with sound, i can't play any mp3, I don't have any notification sound, even when samsung is booting, also when I try to play video. There is one more thing, where someone is calling, my phone is stucking and I can't do anything untill stop ringing, there I having message "system is not responding". I was flashing it with Omega V9,V7.1 and It didin't work(also wipe data and chache in recovery), than i tried to flash with orginal stock firmware and wipe in recovery. STILL NOTHING ;/ can anyone help me ?

I wanted to upgrade my firmware for my i9505. It was rooted so I went back to a stock firmware I had used a month or so ago. Xxuamdm. It went perfectly fine and after rebooting I set about upgrading the software. The first upgrade was nearly 400mb. This downloaded and then installed OK. The next one was about 50mb and the same happened again. Then there was a third one - about 50mb again - except when my phone rebooted it got stuck on the loading screen. I tried to reboot several times but I couldn't get past the Samsung loading screen. Eventually I decided to reflash the stock I had before using Odin again but this time when I went to update the firmware I couldn't turn my WiFi on and also I noticed my sound had stopped working. This is for calls notifications music YouTube everything. I have then tried to update via kies and still I get the same problem. I went to Sammobile and downloaded the most up to date firmware for my device and still no sound or wifi. I then tried a Google ROM I had flashed previously and the WiFi was able to turn on again but still I have no sound. All I want is the latest stock firmware and if I can then root it afterwards that would be a bonus.
I have searched for answers but I can only find two threads - both of which have not offered a solution to my particular issue.

Sorry if I have posted in the wrong area but does anyone have any ideas on this? I have managed to flash several different custom roms today - Foxhound, Google Edition, Echoe - each of these has working wifi however none of them have fixed the no sound issue. When I call my phone it I hear ringing from one end but my phone does not even show someone is calling for a good 30 seconds - and I cannot hear anything when I pick up. Once I hang up my phone still thinks I am on a call and wont disconnect for a good 30 seconds.
When I get home later I am going to try and flash the following stock firmwares using Odin:
I9505XXUDMH8_I9505OXXDMHA_BTU
I9505XXUBMGA_I9505OXXBMG3_BTU
Is this a good idea or am I wasting my time and need to do something else?
I desperately need someones help on this - my only other option is to get a new phone and I really cannot afford to do that.
I was trying to install the GoldenEye Rom 12 for the S4 i9505. I don't know how, but I accidentally installed the Rom for the S4 i9500. Now I'm unable to make/receive calls and Wifi is disabled.. It occasionally lags on almost every app. When I'm making calls, I'm able to dial the number. As soon as I hit the call button, my phone screen turns black and the notification bar starts flickering. As for receiving calls, I'm unable to pick up calls as the screen doesn't even appear. I tried restoring from a nandroid backup, flashing a stock rom/recovery and it doesn't solve the problem. Any ideas how do I solve it?

Is your phone definitely GT-I9505?
Which operator/telco are you using, in which country?
That happened to me when they first upgraded to the new bootloader. My guess is you're still on the older non-KNOXy one?
It's weird that your phone's not bricked. I would make sure that you're actually using a i9505 then download a rom for that device and flash it.
Hello guys, i've been using ZTE Open for months now but i have a problem. It hangs most of the times. First of all i thought it was an earl build(1.0) so then i installed 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and running 1.4 now but the problem is same. It hangs! and when it does i have to lock the phone and wait for sometime to unlock it or just direct remove the battery(sometimes it doesn't solve the problem but sometimes it does). I can't know now for sure that will i be able to receive my incoming call or not?
It just freezes most of the times. Tried so many things like clearing cache installing different ROMs(1.2, 1.3) etc but same problem
Anyone having the same problem?
Any suggestions?
Hey guys. Long-time lurker here. Usually try to solve my problems on my own but.... I'm at a complete loss here. I have a Galaxy S5. I was running stock rooted 4.4.4 earlier today. Suddenly, in the middle of the day, I was completely unable to access the internet in any way. Both data and Wi-Fi were non-functioning. They showed up as connected, but I couldn't access anything using either. When I got home I decided I'd try to update to lollipop, see if that would fix it. So I used Odin to flash to 5.0. The problem still has not been resolved. It's actually worse now. My signal goes on and off indefinitely. I have no idea what to do; I've tried everything I know to try.
