hello! I make a mistake trying to install an update via update center when I have a TWRP installed... wehn phone reset, enter on recovery mode, try to install mahdi ROM with D803 path and weh reboot system, enter recovery again.
I installed via ADB Sideload philz recovery, and same result: ever time phone reset, it enter automatically in recovery mode
try to put in Download mode (holding UP VOLUME while connect to PC) but not lucky: Recovery Mode again
any suggest??

I cannot figure out how to boot into recovery from phone off state. If I go to ROM Toolbox pro and reboot that way into recovery, then it works fine, but NOT from phone off state. Thanks.
Press/hold vol down + press/hold power will get you to the bootloader, then select recovery from there.

Tried that but Then I got the android with Red triangle.

Did you "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" or "fastboot boot recovery.img"?
Got, it. Reinstalling recovery from Goomanager, worked. For whatever reason, my recovery was repalced or gone.

I got that as well when I used the root toolkit, had to download ADB+fastboot package and flash manually.

Hey the same thing is happening to me as I am using my Nexus 5. Can you please show me how to do what you did to find this. I cannot boot into recovery. When I try installing TWRP from GooManager it just says it will download but it never does and then after a while the app shuts down. I tried flashing clockwork mod recovery from Rom Manager and it downloads all the way and than says that a problem occured. Can somebody please help me with my situation. When I press the power button and the volume down button and it brings me to the bootloader and i navigate to recovery, it just brings an android guy with a red triangle. please help me. I just want a custom recovery. I don't care what it is. Either TWRP or clockwork mod.

I was trying to flash get any version of Android on it so I just extracted the image (https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#occam) from the archive to
C:\Program Files (x86)\WugFresh Development\data
where adb.exe is located, booted into the bootloader & ran flash-all.bat

Hello forum peoples. Recently I have tried to flashthe paranoid android firmware using flasherfy. I have twrp installed but idk if I was supposed to do with it. My phone is now in a boot loop because of my attempted flash. Please help me fix this. I am able to boot into both firmware update mode and factory reset mode. For the factory reset mode I am able to boot into the reset mode but as soon as I try to wipe it just reboots again. I have tried to use the lg firmware update tool using com5 and com41 and using both they stop at 49% and the phone just disconnects from the program/computer. Help Please! !

For stock recovery, yes you'll see that screen. On that screen all you have to do is press power button and then press volume up (just one quick press) and it will take you into recovery menu.

You have a LG G2, so please. Ask in you device respective forum. LG G2 got its own forum too you know.
My phone was install flex rom, but I do nandroid backup back to stock still rooted. After update to kitkat on stock rom, the phone automatic reset to twrp recovery. I can't press volume up while plug in usb cable to get into download mode for make factory reset. Is there anyway I can go to download mode from twrp recovery? My phone still keep going boot to twrp even i tried to restore different backups. Help me!!! plz
Usually the update software conflicts with twrp. U are trying to go into download mode? Or trying to boot phone. I think I had to remove twrp before I could receive the update. . please clarify what u are trying to do thanks!!

That got me back to a working rooted 4.2.2. After that, download mode and everything else will work.
Rogers d803 bootloops to fast boot mode.when i try button combo to enter recover it get stuck at strangge message saying loading recovery and just hangs there.i have twrp recovery.i can also enter download mode but cant recognise on computer so i cant flash stock rom using lg recovery tool.please help me.

Have you tried downloading the USB driver from LG for your phone?

Also, have you tried using LG Flashtools rather than the LG recovery tools? LG Recovery tools does not detect my AT&T LG G2. With the LG Flashtools you can restore your phone back to stock using a .tot 'image' file, no weird or fancy drivers, just install the USB drivers from the LG website link I provided.

Recently ive installed Cloudystock to test it but for selling purposes ive restored the stock firmware by flashing the kitkat .kdz (D80220b) file using R&D tool everything goes well but ive noticed when I try to go to recovery mode to do a factory reset it does nothing, Ive flashed the JB firmware stock recovery exist then ive upgraded to kitkat thru OTA again stock recovery is gone, is there a way to restore kitkat stock recovery? Im using D802, ESA variant. Thanks in advance!
You've got the stock recovery, try "adb reboot recovery"

Thank God you've replied mate, ill try to explore that stuff im really new to adb, a quick question so after autorec i cannot go to stock recovery by using down volume and power button anymore it has to be done using adb? Thanks a lot!
Autorec install custom recovery(TWRP)
You can enter it:
1. adb reboot recovery
2. power off - hold volume down + power until you see the lg logo - release shortly and then hold the keys again(volume down + power) - factory reset will ask you to confirm(but it's actually not resetting, it's entering the custom recovery)

if you've flashed a stock - KDZ, there is no trace of AutoRec or TWRP and by doing it you will actually do a factory reset.

Yup thats what i find weird because ive already flashed my phone with a kdz file.. when i flashed a kdz file for jb button combination works but right after upgrading to kitkat neither thru OTA from JB or flashing a kitkat KDZ file button combo wont work, right now im trying to root my device to check if im able to go to stock recovery using an app

I have an LG G2 - D802 with CM-12.1 and TWRP as Recovery partition.
After the phone has undergone several software and one hardware bricks, I suppose there is something wrong with the phone's partitions because I cannot access the Recovery partition or the Download Mode when booting by using the key combination.
I found out by trying to do a clean flash of CM13 on the phone via TWRP and External memory via Mini USB - USB Memory stick and when I have deleted all partitions including the Internal Storage, System, Data, Cache & Dalvik Cache, I tried to flash the CM13+GoogleApps but then I have booted the phone I could see only the LG logo for a few seconds and then a black - on screen.
When I plugged the phone on my PC I could see a lot of partitions and I have followed a guide I found in the forum to unbrick. Then miraculously the phone had booted into the TWRP recovery without pressing any key combination. After that, I have restored to my precious backup.
Specifically then I'm trying to boot to Download Mode (to flash the Official LG Firmware and unroot), I turn the phone off, I press the Volume Up + Power, then when I see the LG logo I unpress and press the Power button but the phone keeps booting to my CM12.1 OS.
The same occurs when I 'm trying to boot to the Recovery parition (TWRP), however I can boot there via the CM's advanced reboot menu.
The reason I wanted to flash the Official Firmware and unroot is because I thought it will bring the Recovery and Download mode back..
How can I flash the correct images for the Download Mode and Recovery mode on the phone?
Also should I leave the Internal Storage intact instead of formatting via TWRP before I flash the new CM13?

have you tried quick reboot app.?
if its missing you can try skr tools. if not then you must go back to stock..

so how can I use it to reflash the download mode and make the combination work?

i think when using flash tools it wipes everything and installs everything needed..
so you must try the srk nuke download. i have no idea how to use. i only know you can try that or.. a search for a way to get download mode...if you get error 9006 i think then you need to short circuit the motherboard to get download mode..

I have been there my friend, that was my Hardware Brick; I had a black screen and I had to short the circuit to get all those partitions back, then I could see all the partitions and reflash all the img via Linux.
Maybe I will try the SRK tool..
