What ROM/MOD do users want ?

What exact mod or ROM do ROM users want since I can't decide what exactly to do....
Aosp , cm6 or cm7 but all of these are already there
Do you want something completely outta ideas
I'll try making that at my best
And please .... No " do it your style stuff "

I'm no big fan of HTC, but I'd say Sense since it would be a nice change that I didn't see on my phone before. But well, since sources for Sense are not available, this won't happen in the next time.
To be honest, I can't think of a mod we didn't already see. CM6/7 and MIUI are already ported, you brought us Touchwiz and Dellstage.
You could try porting Arc UI since there's no near-to-complete build atm.

Buddy porting ain't that easy...
The gpu and the CPU of the two cell phones should be the same so no Droid x ....

The arc UI and bravia engine is already present in tripnarc so no....
Sense maybe after the sdk is released so any more suggestions or are all people happy and content ?? Genuinely

What exactly do u mean to say

Rcadsmixhd is Sense 3.0 and there is also a version that is Sense 2.1 in the same thread.

How did they port Sense to Nexus One then? Never heard of it before. Shouldn't it really be possible to port Sense from Nexus One? I guess many of our ports started from Nexus One ROMs, right?

The HTC desire is exactly like the nexus one so it wasn't a big deal and u even have many devs....
Moreover porting a custom UI is not abt the bin , lib , etc but u have to change the change Apk and framework as they are not framework independent

[REQUEST] Windows Phone Sounds, Bootanimation *MDPI* and Themed Items [OpenPhone7]

Hey everyone!
I am currently in the stage where I can nearly release the OpenPhone7 rom (7Phone+) but I just add Wifi-Data-Baseband fixings, and now it can't boot on friends Optimus One... bummer.
Going to fix for sure, then release Alpha for you guys to test! Right after I finish this request...
Anyway, back on topic...
My Metro UI interface on 7Phone+ is really a Windows Phone theme... seeing as the WHOLE UI can be themed in the ROM [WindowsPhone7.5, iOS and Metro+] and I have compiled all the things needed for iOS theme... only I need a few things for Metro+ and WP7.5 themes.
I am requesting sounds from the Windows Phone 7.5 ROM, and maybe wallpapers, tiles, themed apps, and a biggy..
*BOOT ANIMATION FIXED FOR MDPI*
Once I get the bootanimation, I can implement it (and edit it for 7Phone+ logo) and put in... I want one where is has the logo flip in once then just loading dots after
If possible, the themed apps would be a go... Windows Phone themed apps would surefire help.... and if I get, I can release earlier
Also, I am seeking anyone who has/can make a Windows Phone Xbox LIVE Launcher from wp7 for my ROM... because I already have dev working on PSN one
So... that's it

Personally I think its a good thing that rom is based on ics cuz once ics gets little stable no one will go back to gingerbread : ICS IS FUTURE

MIUI is the bomb!

Well, it's not just that. MIUI is very easy to theme and, at least on my Droid X, very fast. In fact, it was the smoothest ROM for that phone in my opinion, and I was flashing just about everything for two years straight.

Love or hate MIUI, it’s an innovative and fresh take on Android, and one of the most popular custom ROMs out there. What didn’t sit so well with many of our forum members, however, was the fact that, despite being built on top of the open source CyanogenMod ROM, it was closed, with all development being done by the Xiaomi company. Well, was – it’s now in the process of being open sourced.
Besides the ROM itself – or, rather, a “PatchROM” that should allow developers to port MIUI to new devices – the various MIUI-specific applications are also getting their source codes released, all under the Apache 2.0 license. Not everything seems to be available yet, but then, we guess that the whole process spearheaded by the new MiCode community will take some time.

miui is nice, fast smooth and pretty but it has some limitations from standard android. anyways i would love if someone would port the new galaxy s3/s4 rom for razr m. dont know if its possible but would be cool. (pls dont tell me 'u should have bought the galxy s3 then', i bought the razr m for its incredible build )

I'll keep it real, i bought the RAZR M bc it was the best phone for $50.00

Port touchwiz? Yuk. I know there is an AOSP project for that somewhere, maybe for the d3? I forget. Anyways, I installed cm10.1 on my gt2 just to get away from that

not the old touchwiz! that sucks.. yea! well i was also skeptical about the s3 when it had been released. recently i used one and a galaxy note 2, i have to say the ui is smooth and it has some nice features. anyways im just saying. i liked it. i have used sonys and htcs ui but both are as smooth or easy for the eyes as the s3 ui. well just my opinion. right now i would take any rom thats smooth cool and stable. i guess miui v5 port would super cool for the razr m. i heard cool reviews about it. :fingers-crossed: hope they release it soon and someone make a port

I tried out the launcher and it is still a little buggy. Biggest issue is the lockscreen quirks. Like it will sometimes unlock just by touching the screen or sometimes won't even show the lock screen.

Hi !
I see dark/black themes for CM everywhere but I don't like it at all, I prefer clear/colored themes, like MIUI ones (it's just an exemple).
Where could I find beautiful clean and clear themes for CM 10.1 ?

This is the theme I've been using for a while now. Its one of the best I've used on my N4 IMO. Slap on a MIUI v5 icon pack and you have a beautiful setup if you like the MIUI look

A 4.1+ update would be great but I understand jb sense kernels are still a wip? One thing I have noticed is that I could not flash twrp via goo manager, it just said no recovery found for this device or something to that effect so perhaps something to do with device branding? It is a little laggy compared to svhd but I guess that's cause of full sense? Otherwise one of the best ROMs I've used on this device. Always seem to have random problems with jb ROMs. Thanks for all your hard work :thumbup:

The "lag" is fixed 100% in 1.4.5, but u need to wipe data+system. Also goo.im twrp dunno about that, just download it from their site and fastboot flash it. Anyway try 1.4.5 in the OP

it could be greate if you themed all the icons to sense5 and the status bar to Random theme
maybe you can reduce the size on the ROM memory
its only 10Mb..it could cause some lag after a while

Yep, that's included in OTA 1.6.1, It's just gonna delete all useless apps in /system/app that can be found on the PlayStore, but don't worry! Cos I thought ahead, I'll just shove all the deleted apps in /data/app/ so they can be kept/deleted. Just waiting for my Desire HD back.

Something I miss in this Rom is a "CM statusbar brightness mod" like it is integrated in CM10.1 or I have seen it in Viper DHD. Only make a fingerslide on top bar and the brightness goes up or down.
This is great, when you quickly wanna swich the brightness. Maybe you can integrate such a feature.
The other thing I search is a very good batterie life cause I am ofter out in the wild with Geocaching and work with always GPS and mostly Display on.
Right now with another Rom (ARHD9) after 3 to 4 hours my battery is empty, mostly before this.
This are a view things I want for a ROM for me.
I will install Custom Rom in a view days, when I have more time to test, but this are wishes from me.
