Sense 4 theme for Andromadus Beta 3

Hi, can someone make an Sense 4 theme for Andromadus Beta 3? I saw that ROM support themes, but I don't have any installed. I would be very grateful for this theme, maybe other people too

You do know that there is a Sense 4.0 rom for our devices? You should try it, its called Ice Cream SENSEwich Beta 6 and can be found in the development thread. Although it lacks some features like camera and wifi hotspot, you will be able to get the full sense 4.0 experience if thats what you're looking for.

Theme support was not available in Andromadus until Beta 4. But now that it is, go to Google Play and search "Theme Sense 4 CM9/AOKP". They have the theme for $1.18 and a trial version for free.

it works on MIUIv4, smooth, but it just does not fit right, i even used LCD changer,.still not aesthetically good for me.nice find though

[Q] Is there anyone working on MIUI ,it's a very good UI for android.

I believe lots of people know MIUI , it's ios like UI working on android ,and It's base on Cyanogenmod ,so now the cm10 is working for razr m , I wonder anyone could explant it to the razr m.

MIUI is the bomb!

Why you would want an ANDROID phone to look like a kid phone (iPhone) is beyond me...

Well, it's not just that. MIUI is very easy to theme and, at least on my Droid X, very fast. In fact, it was the smoothest ROM for that phone in my opinion, and I was flashing just about everything for two years straight.

Love or hate MIUI, it’s an innovative and fresh take on Android, and one of the most popular custom ROMs out there. What didn’t sit so well with many of our forum members, however, was the fact that, despite being built on top of the open source CyanogenMod ROM, it was closed, with all development being done by the Xiaomi company. Well, was – it’s now in the process of being open sourced.
Besides the ROM itself – or, rather, a “PatchROM” that should allow developers to port MIUI to new devices – the various MIUI-specific applications are also getting their source codes released, all under the Apache 2.0 license. Not everything seems to be available yet, but then, we guess that the whole process spearheaded by the new MiCode community will take some time.

miui is nice, fast smooth and pretty but it has some limitations from standard android. anyways i would love if someone would port the new galaxy s3/s4 rom for razr m. dont know if its possible but would be cool. (pls dont tell me 'u should have bought the galxy s3 then', i bought the razr m for its incredible build )

I'll keep it real, i bought the RAZR M bc it was the best phone for $50.00

Port touchwiz? Yuk. I know there is an AOSP project for that somewhere, maybe for the d3? I forget. Anyways, I installed cm10.1 on my gt2 just to get away from that

not the old touchwiz! that sucks.. yea! well i was also skeptical about the s3 when it had been released. recently i used one and a galaxy note 2, i have to say the ui is smooth and it has some nice features. anyways im just saying. i liked it. i have used sonys and htcs ui but both are as smooth or easy for the eyes as the s3 ui. well just my opinion. right now i would take any rom thats smooth cool and stable. i guess miui v5 port would super cool for the razr m. i heard cool reviews about it. :fingers-crossed: hope they release it soon and someone make a port

I tried out the launcher and it is still a little buggy. Biggest issue is the lockscreen quirks. Like it will sometimes unlock just by touching the screen or sometimes won't even show the lock screen.

[Q] Port Sense ROM Difficulty?

How hard would it be to port a Sense ROM to the Nexus 4? Back when I was on my Droid Incredible, I saw a video explaining porting one phone's ROM to another phone, as long as they were on the same version of Android (mind you, this was back in Gingerbread era). Is it still as simple as replacing some files with others in Jelly Bean?

Its hard. There are tons of people that have been working on it for a while, and I don't think they have even got it to the boot animation yet.

what about writing compatible drivers from scratch? the difference is that you are not talking about porting pure open source android, you are talking about porting something thats proprietary, and not made for a non htc phone.

Its hard alright, like MIUI too, (though different case as MIUI have a team similar to CM making ROM's for all major devices).
Sense itself is a highly modified SHELL, yes we use the word shell. AOSP itself doesn't have a shell therefore the AOSP purity.
Therefore if a Sense ROM is made, it might not be able to use any kernel except the one its developed with. Since Shell and Kernel is tightly bonded.
Hopefully my explanation is right, I just studied these out of my course and merged it with my knowledge in xda. Do correct me if I'm wrong.

[Q] Moto g .. development level

Hello there.
I am not here to offend , just wanna diccuss .
I owned a Lg p500 before and using moto g since 2.5 months.
There were tons of themed and ported custom ROMs for a legacy phone Lg p500 and I loved to switch the looks almost every week.
I am here on moto g thread since the day I baught the phone and eagerly waiting for the themed ROMs like xperia, sense, MIUI , AND other beautiful versions of android but so far I haven't been through any of them..
I just want to discuss why aren't there any themed ROMs that are bug free ..

I think most of us just love Stock Vanilla so much that there is no need fancy themed roms.

Sir i am not a developer and seriously i dont know even how to get a logcat lol
i am a mechanical engineer so i merely know anything about coding android so i cant even think of porting..
my friend have a micromax canvas HD and the themed roms he uses are beautiful even the canvas HD has a mediatek processor. and ours is the snapdragon.
i just wanted to know why there arent any themed rom like PureXperia Rom for canvas HD..

i am the only one here who is mesmerized by the beauty of themed roms i believe hehe
just search for the PureXperia rom on google and imagine that beauty on moto g with 320 DPI and flat body, then you might would understand my thoughts.

Because it themes partially amd there wouldnt be apps for the kinda theme i wanna use. if i would install xperia apps on cynogen mod and use xperia theme engine and manage to have custom xperia lockscreen and somehow manage to have xperia like notification drawer and settings blue background, it want work smoothly , i have tried , it slows down phones and just irritates to uses too many mods where as a themed rom is just perfect

Use CyanogenMod and Paranoid Android ROMs. Both of them have a native theme engine and there are lot of themes available for CM and PA.
