Hi
I'd like to backup my wi-fi access points and passwords. In 2.1 this was just a plain text file. Not so in 2.2 - and I have been unable to find an app for this in the Market.
I'd like to export this information in plain text so I can check the data for corruption.
Any ideas?
i would like it too..
if you're rooted soo..
can you find it under data/wifi
cheers/H
Thanks a lot!
Is there any way to wipe a specific saved password from the browser, rather than resetting all the saved passwords?

Try forgetting all networks and try again.
If problem persists, reflash your ROM
Also you might want to upgrade to V023 its awesome
Also, you were to post this in the Q&A section.
Take care of that next time

Settings - Yes
But it takes less than 3 minutes to set them back.
You can backup your apps with Titanium Backup.
Your contacts are synced to your gmail account. You can easily restored.
You can backup your messages and call logs to your Gmail Account with
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zegoggles.smssync&hl=en
So you can upgrade to V023 and get back all you had in maximum 15 minutes.

Not sure...
But with titanium backup , I guess Yes you can restore your whatsapp/talkbox messages.
But please confirm this from someone else too if your messages will be saved.

I've never used whatsapp
Cant say. Installation on SD card does not matter. Your Data is saved on your phone and not your SD CARD. Only the app is transferred.
Also , if there's a backup option on whatsapp , then obviously you can recover back. Else whats the point of it providing a backup. That means your messages should be safe , and can be recovered via the app only.
Hey, read my posts on this thread.
It should work.

Restart the router, this way it updates......something
Anyway, it works for me. Try it.
i flashed to v023 and still nothing changed lol
IrishStuff09 - thank you very much my brother
Shoman, it seems problem with your router and DHCP. Could you check your DHCP in your router? Probably you don´t have IP available, so you should increase your range or you can exclude your IP in DHCP list and try to connect again in case your range it´s okay. Maybe it works.
Glad I helped you

I had the same problem.
To fix it I had to restore my phone to original state using PCC.
I just found out that the S5 hashes the wifi passwords in the supplicant file. I know I can't un-hash them but is there anyway to save my passwords and have them automatically restored when I change my ROM? I used to be able to just use Titanium Backup but that no longer transfers the passwords, just the SSIDs.
Maybe a program that I could save the passwords into separately and then could auto-input them?
I cannot use Google backup but am rooted.
Not sure if it was the fact I rooted using:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-tmobile/general/easy-steps-n910t3-dofc-dog1-how-to-root-t3177225
I realized after a reboot my wifi settings has been being wiped, at first I thought it was because I used titanium backup to restore wifi profiles (wiped all wifi settings to try and fix) or if my root method has had this issue.
After wiping all wifi settings after I used titanium backup I still lost my wifi settings
I reset my phone and issue was still occuring
I found an issue with the note 3 forgetting passwords and I figured I'd do the same using a build.prop editor in the app store.

Code:
Original:
ro.securestorage.support=true
Modified:
ro.securestorage.support=false
In doing these changes I inadvertently managed to store passwords as text instead of an encrypted hash so applications that show stored wifi passwords will now work on the phone
