Try forgetting all networks and try again.
If problem persists, reflash your ROM
Also you might want to upgrade to V023 its awesome
Also, you were to post this in the Q&A section.
Take care of that next time

Settings - Yes
But it takes less than 3 minutes to set them back.
You can backup your apps with Titanium Backup.
Your contacts are synced to your gmail account. You can easily restored.
You can backup your messages and call logs to your Gmail Account with
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zegoggles.smssync&hl=en
So you can upgrade to V023 and get back all you had in maximum 15 minutes.

Not sure...
But with titanium backup , I guess Yes you can restore your whatsapp/talkbox messages.
But please confirm this from someone else too if your messages will be saved.

I've never used whatsapp
Cant say. Installation on SD card does not matter. Your Data is saved on your phone and not your SD CARD. Only the app is transferred.
Also , if there's a backup option on whatsapp , then obviously you can recover back. Else whats the point of it providing a backup. That means your messages should be safe , and can be recovered via the app only.
Hey, read my posts on this thread.
It should work.

Restart the router, this way it updates......something
Anyway, it works for me. Try it.
i flashed to v023 and still nothing changed lol
IrishStuff09 - thank you very much my brother
Shoman, it seems problem with your router and DHCP. Could you check your DHCP in your router? Probably you don´t have IP available, so you should increase your range or you can exclude your IP in DHCP list and try to connect again in case your range it´s okay. Maybe it works.
Glad I helped you

I had the same problem.
To fix it I had to restore my phone to original state using PCC.

After i load one of the ROM and restore my backup, the hotmail & yahoo mailbox could not work. So I create a new account for both and now i have duplicate mailbox on the TF3d .. any idea how to resolve this problem ?
any one ??
Which rom did you flash? I've heard that a back up from one rom and restored on the next can create issues. Were your yahoo and hotmail accounts visible in the messaging app (programs->messaging) after the restore and before you re-created the new accounts?

Yes, it would help to know not only what rom you are using, but also what application you used to backup and restore your information. Do tell...

When switching roms you always want to restore with merge level 1. I am 90% sure if you do a hard reset and restore with that merge level you will not have this issue.

It's OK ^_^
Do you want to backup the data partition (which contains all user apps and data), then you can use recovery. But I'd recommend Titanium Backup for application and data within the Android OS.
EDIT: You'll need to install Titanium Backup again and have the backup data available to restore. If you decide to wipe data.

Press MENU and then select Batch. Then on the Backup sub-heading select the third one (which is 'Backup all user apps + system data). You'll then see all the apps are selected, so press 'Run batch operation'. Wait for a moment and then you're backed up.
If you want to restore, choose the one you want from the Restore sub-heading. If you want all your apps on a clean ROM, select 'Restore missing apps with data'

sorry bro for the long time for me to response from your message.
i have no pc or laptop to use here
anyway, it seems that i'd just wondering that when I'm here in our house, i could definitely download apps from the market, but considering the speed of our wifi connection is barely slow
but when i am in our school, wifi speed is okay but i can't download apps from the market.
is it in the wifi connection? or in the handset itself????
The school probably blocked such actions to be done.
Go to Settings/Apps/Manage Apps/ then press Menu then press Filters and press all then press market then press Clear Cache then press Uninstall Updates then your done
;D

It says that there is access to Wifi but Android apps can't be install from the Android Market. I presume that there is still access to an internet connection therefore having access to other websites.
sometimes my market gets stuck as well. i just reboot the phone and everything works great
Hello, now with the ICS nightly roms there is lots of stuff being flashed each 1 or 2 days, is there an option in the android market so when you flash another rom it automatically starts downloading and installing the ones that have been saved in your gmail account?
How can we do this? Thank you!
by the way, the power shortcut that changes 2g/3g network doesnt work, or its too slow anybody else having this issue? on the last quarx nightly!
I use "app backup & restore" save ur apps apk. Saves all of them. On SD or whatever. Once u restore back up. Works well

If your flashing up between the 2 cm9 builds then don't do a data wipe and your fine, tbh I am just downloading them and flashing them, done 4 in the last 2 days with a straight install zip file and reboot, just remember to do your nandroid every now and then
teamwork makes the dream work
Use titanium backup. Restores both app+data

As far as I know, I was switching between Quarx CM9 builds and after flashing the gapps, when you start your phone it will bring up a welcome screen where you set your account. After finishing all the steps, immediately as you pass this and made a wi-fi connection the apps will automatically be downloaded and installed without asking you a thing. One thing that I observed is that if you switch between Quarx and Epsilon builds (being pretty different roms) you won't get your apps restored.
If none of what I've said applies you can install the apps guys mentioned above and backup them on your SD Card. I personally use "App backup and restore" in combination with "Titanium Backup" . Hope my answer helps!

spidykwya is right it should prompt you at the start to sign in to Gmail account and your previous apps should be ready to be downloaded & installed. Saying that you need to have selected the backup option for you Gmail in settings. But in my opinion you need to use titanium backup, it is easy to use.

+1 when you allow your Gmail account to back up your apps, you use up data connection if you are not connected to wifi. Plus it takes so much longer than just using titanium backup.

If you don't want have problem with lost data, this is a good idea!
Try use Titanium Backup, or Nandroid Backup, Nandroid Manager of any backup software you like.
You'll ony give value for your data when you lose any information.
The best way to back up literally EVERYTHING is a NandroidBackup. Install a custom Recovery like CWM (Clock Work Mod) if you dont already have one. Through CWM, you can backup your phone AS IS, and upon restore, it will restore everything from Contacts, to text messages, to apps, to the Data of those apps, to phone call history ,,,, basically everything
Titanium Backup is the safest and the most reliable app
I usually use titanium to backup my installed application before flashing a new rom... N I hv to backup manually data of the big game.. Like one from gameloft..
Since I use color notes to keep everything n it has backup feature..
And I use google contact permanently to backup my contact n synced between my phone, tablet, and netbook..
For sms just go to playstore.. There is many backup program for it.. But I dont care this one being ridden.. So I dont back up it..
It suck to have generated 10 post just to tell how happy n thankfull iam for using a rom they make.

Backing up "whole data" sounds to me like wants to clone his entire drive.
Like I asked to Stock Rom thread I have a little problem.
I restore the app data and after some app (not all) crash righ after start.
I also tried to delete data/cache of the app but I have to uninstall and reinstall from zero.

ooook,

Install by myself all my old app, without titanium.
After I tested to restore only app data (to have back my old progress with some games ) and I have problems only with angry birds (ever version except for bad piggies), Fruit ninja, plant vs zombies.
Only games heh ...
First question you had app like app to sd on ROM from backup was taken ?
Second question those apps was moved (partialy) to sd via settings in ROM ?
Third question hardly connected to aboves - you switched USB modes ? (UMS <-> MTP) ?
Your kernel is ?
There is a lot of chance that backup was corrupted via 3 first aboves q.

If I change USB modes and restore my app again, there are any chance to get back.
Untill now I found only this app, maybe there are another.
ps: I used titanium backup.
In my opinion there is nothing wrong with ROM, but probably backup was corrupted by something ;D Im not on this ****ty sammy MGA+ ROMS with new knox, so I can be wrong !.
If I'm correct then there is no hope ;P if not then logcat could be helpful.
You can check if backup itself is corrupted. Send this one app backup (titanium backup folder -> app + app data zip) that doesn't work to some friend with android or (if you are not afraid of public way) here to test it on another ROM (you can back to your previous ROM and test it by-self but that will be HARDCORE ! )

I uninstalled broken aps, reinstalled, test and after restore a old backup (two month ago, that I'm sure was working).
Nothing, after restore I had app broken.
I'm pretty sure that is a firmware problem...
You are right !
Rom with knox changed the way of keeping data of apps, so backups will fail.
Creators of apps like Titanium Backup can in near future implement changes for knox ROMs, but I will not bet on this
