No, my Note is rooted, so i'm using Titanium Backup. But, what i have read, Helium must be good for non root users.

tried and failed, I wanted to make backups of saves from Final Fantasy vl but it does not, saying that the manufacturer does not allow it, uninstalled: (
So my question is, after/before any flashing process, we have to wipe everything usually, so what is the best way to backup my data, in a way that I can retrieve them quickly, Titanium Backup isn't a good option I'm afraid, the free version that I own makes this process really painful.
Since Custom Recovery's are Born TWRP is the best way to backup and Restore your data.
Titanium Backup only backsup App and App data! SO TWRP to the rescue .. U need Root tho! but u can temporary Flash twrp to backup Only and then root !

Oh I'm confused, I can backup data through TWRP and restore it in different/higher firmware?
btw, what's quite important to me is the apps and their data, though I won't really mind if the answer to the previous question is yes

Nope u cannot flash the backup as is Takes Full system ! you have option to backup only apps but i have never tried flashing to on higher firmware so Titanium Backup is Good for apps and App data u can use to pro/HAcked apk!

It is possible to back up only the data partition, but restoring it can be a big problem if Sony changes the partition layout between ROM versions.
I use Titanium Backup since my Galaxy S, never failed me. Well worth the couple of dollars.
It's worth mentioning that some of the fw like Concept, Nougat DP4 don't have root or recovery, so the above mentioned methods will not help.

Search XDA before posting!??
Yeah, cool post! on the same tone:
Don't quote the previous post!
If you're comment was related to the availability of recovery for the 2 mentioned FW, this is only valid for unlocked bootloader. Most of the users are on LB

HI guys, please do help me my note 4 got bootlooped while im trying to flash TWRP via flashify. I don't know what to do can somebody help me and give me steps on how I can make it working again? where can I download a stock rom? 5.1.1. and is it possible to make it back working without losing my files? I can still go to recovery mode via twrp and odin mode. Please help me!
Then just flash a new rom through TWRP recovery and that's it !

Root using TWRP and flashing SuperSU, 100% after this the titanium backup will work. And just to let you know, titanium only lets you freeze an app if you have payed for pro version, which is waste of money since there are ton of apps on google play that will let you freeze an app completly free.
