Google Email App on Verizon S5 - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a way to get the Google Email App to install? I am rooted and went to download it and install it on my rooted S5, but it tells me I am not authorized to download it for this device.

You got usb debugging on ?
Is your computer recognizing your phone ? I would turn on allow unknown apps too
Make sure you have all drivers also I would restart phone while plugged in on computer and see if it installs recovery bootloader drivers also

Service code for adjusting i9500 message center number?

I'm using a custom ROM without the stock message center app.

Just plug it in an old phone eg. Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Blackberry etc2 those phones will let you set it up or it'll set them up automatically. That's what I do when I mess up my msg center no.

Download mode tells you what's on the chip. I'm still going with i337 as far as what firmware to use. The imei could have been changed along the way.
