I no this isn't the correct forum, but I have the ATT LG G2.
I see several mentions of the LG Update Center in the settings tab to update LG specific apps. However, I can't locate it on the AT&T version.
Does anyone know how I can go about update some of the LG apps then? Does the ATT version have this app hidden somehow?
Thanks.

no the update center you are talking about should be lgsmartworld and it is usually in international and Korean variants, there should be a thread sharing it somewhere on xda check the g2 themes and apps section
I thought I looked in that section already and couldn't find it. I'll search again.
I found the apt, but that doesn't look like the one that allows you to update the LG specific applications. It just takes me to the LG marketplace. I've seen the 'Update Center' even on the Sprint version. It's in the setting area and allows the update to these LG specific applications.
This is what I'm looking for? From the Sprint version - > System settings > System updates > Update LG software. That doesn't exist on ATT version.

Is it possible to update the Market app manually to enable AT&T direct carrier billing on a stock 1.6?
Thanks!
There is a .apk floating around of the new market somewhere here on xda, just do a search for it.
Also, there was a thread about this, but i can't seem to find carrier billing an option on my market. but maybe thats cuz i'm running Dj_Steve's Streakdroid and not the official At&t rom.
Hey people!
Found this fix after I flashed a custom rom & lost my knock on feature. Hope it helps you guys, I didnt realise how much I used it till it didnt work.
How to access hidden menu on LG G2
3845#*802# (for International model)
3845#*801# (for T-Mobile)
3845#*800# (for AT&T)
5689#*980# – (for Sprint )
Dial: ##228378 + send (Verizon)
Other models, please use 3845#*YOUR-MODEL-NUMBER#
Dial 3845#*802# > setting > update touch firmware
Notes, the 802 to your LG G2 Model Number.
The guide shows a few more tests to do, bu I only used the "update touch firmware" step & it now works better than whenI had stock rom, seems more responsive.
Dont think its been posted but please feel free to remove or whatever if it has, just hoping to help peeps out, as this place has always sorted everything for me in the past on various devices.
I did not figure this out myself, I cant post the source as I need 10 posts 1st, so will do when I can, but the site is mylgphones dot com.
Hello so here is my situation, i am on cricket wireless with an unlocked lg g2 D800 from ATT. On the 14th ATT pushed out 5.0.2 to the D800 but i have not yet received an alert for it, and when i check my phone it says i am up to date. I also tried installing the LG PC suite software on my PC and when checking for an update there it also says there are no updates for my phone.
Now where do i go from here? I was under the impression when i went to cricket that as long as ATT sent out OS upgrades OTA i would be getting them on cricket, is this not correct? I really want lollipop for the features and aesthetics where do you guys suggest i do at this point, its also kind of lame that everytime i check for a update my phone puts a 24 hour cooldown before i can do it again can i get around this somehow in settings? (i couldnt find anything)
Any info is very much appreciated, i love my G2 but lollipop would make it that much better!
No one?
At the very least can someone let me know how to bypass the 24 hour cooldown LG put on the phone for checking for updates?
Dear sir,
I found that the LG V20 H990N cannot install my previous download software. Each time I want to install it, there is an error message comes out. For those software which I download from Google Play store, it can be installed. I don't know whether it belongs to the bugs of the Android 7 or I must do some setting. Otherwise, I cannot install those software download from the web site.

Try the stock File Manager
I have the same issue!
I have the same issue receiving texts. Some I will receive and be in a conversation and all of a sudden stop getting replies then get one saying something that shows I have been missing a few texts. I had the LG G5 when this started in Nov 2016 and did everything the customer service rep at TMobile told me and nothing worked. I got the new LG V20 thinking it was my previous LG G5. Still happening. I have done everything including a factory reset and nothing works. TMobile said they would send me a new LG V20 even though I explained this one is brand new and the texting issue was happening on the G5 also. They sent a device and I went to pick it up only to find out it was a refurbished V20. I refused to take it because my current one is brand new. I am planning to call again and convince TMobile to let me trade in my brand new V20 for a new iPhone. I communicate 99% by text. Did anyone find a solution?

What error do you have in message ?
(did a search as well as checked the recommended threads before posting)
As the title states, I have just picked up a Verizon Galaxy S5 that was unlocked and have my son's tmobile sim in and working currently, and with the proper APN info also)
It is currently on Android 4.4.4 and I would like to update it to the most recent available software. My questions are:
-What carrier's software do i install? VZW? When i hooked it up to the pc i let it install the proper USB drivers, and it has said there was software available(it was unable to connect doing it OTA)
-Is the software it found Marshmallow 6?
-Will updating through the VZW app on my pc erase any of the settings that are already there? The unlock, APN, Apps, etc?
I bought this for my son who has killed 3 Iphones in that many years and his main concern is that he has Snapchat
I was able to find an older version that works on this phone as the most recent says it will not and he can't get it from Google Play, I dl'ed an old apk from somewhere online and got that up and running.
Any advice or pointing me in the proper direction would be greatly appreciated. I'm just coming back here after years away since i don't deal with HTC or Windows phones any more
Thanks Again!!
