I just got a brand new Samsung G900F. I was able to root it successfully and now i'd like to install the XtreStoLite room.
The install instruction say
- Do a Data/Factory reset first in your recovery
- Start the installation
- Reboot
- Enjoy the Rom!
- Optionally: Flash the Aroma add-on Package, to restore some of the removed Samsung Apps/Functions that you want (You can do this anytime!)

Besides reboot I don't know how to do any of those steps. If anyone could explain to me how to install it I'd be very grateful.
Thanks

You must have a Custom Recovery installed (Philz Touch, TWRP...), you can find them in Android Development section, download then flash it via Odin. Then go to Recovery Mode by pressing the following combination keys: VOLUME UP + POWER + HOME BUTTON. Then follow the instructions above.
Good luck bro
Warning: If you using towelroot, you will trip knox anyway if flashing any custom recovery. If not, so just forget what I just said.

I appreciate the quick reply but i'm not much smarter yet..
Whats the custom recovery and why do I need it before installing a custom ROM? I did "root" my phone already with Odin.
So I downloaded Philz Touch but i'm not sure what to do with the zip file and Odin.
A step-by-step would be very helpful. I really woudn't want to brick my phone. Thanks
I will explain to you some definitions first
1. Custom recovery will overwrite your phone stock recovery. It has many features that stock one does not. Such as: backup/restore your rom, install custom zip/ota update (install custom kernel, custom rom) and many more...
2. According to 1. To install a custom rom, you must have a custom memory first, right? Because custom rom mostly is packaged in a zip file. You can't use Odin to flash it as you did with a stock firmware
There is no chance you will brick your phone mate if you do the following instruction carefully. Provided that, you have your custom rom put into your internal memory or sd card.
1. Use Odin to flash Philz Touch recovery. Its steps are exactly as the same as you root
2. After flashing Philz Touch, your phone will automatically reboot, turn off your phone after that
3. Now, enter recovery mode by pressing a combination keys as I said above
4. After a few seconds, you will see recovery menu.
5. Choose wipe data/factory reset - > clean install a new rom
6. Choose install from zip - > install from sd card if you put your custom rom in internal memory OR install from sd card 1 if yours is in sd card - > choose the rom and install. Follow its instruction and reboot
THATS IT.

thanks for the clarification mate. the only thing i'm having trouble to understand now is how to load philz touch on to my phone with odin.
so i got a zip file with a recovery.img file and a folder META-INF. How do I add it to Odin?
Nope, you downloaded the wrong one. File name should be ended with tar.md5

Update zip but the first question is what update zip .
Usual zip files install via CWM clockwork mod recovery .
Boot to recovery install sdcard/update/zip.

You need to have 2E recovery working on your phone in order to install unsigned update.zip files, either check your phone for the 2E recovery by going into 3 button recovery mode (switch phone off, hold volume up, home key and power button until logo appears on screen and let go of all 3) and the screen will say whether you have 2E or 3E recovery mode or here is a link to Chanfires excellent kernels which include 2E recovery but you must flash them with onto the phone with Odin. I'm not too familiar with the i9000t so you had best do some reading up first to make sure it can be done with your phone as you could brick it if the kernel is not for your unit.
Once you have the kernel flashed onto the phone or you have checked and already have 2E recovery, simply make sure the update.zip file is on the root folder of your internal SD and select the install update.zip option in recovery mode (you get into this as described above)

I have done all of these steps perfectly still no success My phone just doesn't like this ROM lol
Try this!
Judging from your post it would seem that you have no problem flashing JellyBlast v3, and that the problem actually lies in the flashing of your country's CSC.
Here's the instructions i followed (found this on the JellyBlast Thread, credits go to thirdczee:
1. Back up your ROM using CWM as this procedure will wipe data
2. Use Odin and flash the lates CSC of your region (remember when you extract the zip from doky it contains 3 files right? just use csc no need for the other two)
3. After flashing boot your phone and dial *#272*( your phone IMEI)#
4. Next a pop up menu will appear now select your carrier (ex. here in Philippines my carrier is SMART so i choose SMA from the menu)
5. Phone will reboot to stock recovery, change CSC, and at the same time wipe data
6. Phone will now boot up and voila no more annoying sending of sms to India
7. But wait! Your phone just got data wipe! This is where the backup comes in
8. Reboot to CWM
9. Choose backup and restore >>> Advance Restore >>> Select your ROM back up >>> Restore data
10. Now you have successfully changed CSC. no more annoying text message being sent and you got your apps and data back
Note: Kernel must have stock recovery so savie#62/#73, White 8 rc3, or any other kernel with CWM built-in recovery i am not sure if it will change CSC as i used my own kernel which has stock recovery not CWM built-in

My note: If you didn't touch the kernel in which JBv3 was built with, I believe you won't need to worry as long as you follow the instructions perfectly

Damn! That sucks. Sorry, I can't help you any further, I have no idea what else to do.
Method 1
Download KDZ: HERE
LG Driver: HERE
LG Flash Tool: HERE
1. Download Mode
You must switch off the device to start the process.
Then press and hold the “Volume Up” and connect the USB cable from phone to PC.
Use the original USB cable. Because, other device’s cable may not be detected in the Computer. So, only we recommend it to use the original one that you got it when you bought the phone.
Wait for the driver installation on PC.
Then you will get the download mode screen in your phone.
That’s it.
You can return to the normal mode by press and hold power button.
Don’t unplug the cable while the update process is running. Because, it will damage your phone.
2. Downgrade using KDZ Method: HERE
3. Root (PurpleDrake): HERE
4. BUMP:
Download TWRP 2.8.4.0: HERE
Flash it with Flashify : Tutorial
5. You are ready for CM12!
CM12: HERE
GApps: HERE
[Optional] SuperSU: HERE
Method 2 (thanks to ziggyboy)
If you want to do this really quickly, copy the following APK's before you flash the KK ROM to your SD card:
Stump
SuperSU
Flashify
TWRP
Latest CM12
GApps for LP
This saves you from having to download or copy the APK within the process.
Here's a detailed guide:
Copy the APK's listed above to your SD card.
Flash 10A-10D using the guide linked by the OP.
When setting up KK, just skip everything. No need to connect to wifi, 3G, or your PC.
Install the Stump APK from your SD card. Run it to root your device. You'll likely reboot.
Install the SuperSU APK from your SD card.
Install the Flashify APK from your SD card. Run it to flash TWRP. Make sure you select the 'recovery image 'option.
The installation process should reboot you to TWRP.
In TWRP: Wipe then flash CM12 and GApps.
Reboot and set up CM12!!
Does SuperSU not included in the CM12 official ROM ? I remember that it's embedded inside the ROM.
I flashed SuperSU because probably Superuser app isn't present as I think it got merged with Privacy Guard together but I can assure you an applet when an app requests SU permission is present but first you have to activate it in developers option. I think you can skip flashing it.

I've got a 32GB version of EUR. Maybe because in europe 32gb version is lot more expensive of 16gb.

Yea, you're right. I put the links of all the guides i'd followed so I'm 100% sure that's working. Thank you for the update.
I've got a slightly easier method (IMO) of doing this. Here's a summary. Detailed steps later on.
Flash an earlier ROM, preferably 10A-10D. Don't forget to wipe.
Use Stump to root (it's so much quicker and you can do it from your phone). See http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/orig-development/root-stump-root-lg-g3-sprint-verizon-t2850906
Install Flashify and use it to flash TWRP.
Reboot to TWRP, wipe and flash CM12 + GApps.
If you want to do this really quickly, copy the following APK's before you flash the KK ROM to your SD card:
Stump
SuperSU
Flashify
TWRP
Latest CM12
GApps for LP

Reboot and set up CM12!!
I live in Spain, I guess this is the correct firmware for me, right?: 42 6UA/EUROPE COMMON_16G V10A
Hi GFXi0N, it's not important where the kdz was released. Flash any KK KDZ (in your case all 16GB version KDZ) then root and bump it.
Thanks Ziggyboy for the guide. Yea is slightly easier, I will update the thread and add yours

Full Wipe/Clean Flash/Clean Install [same].
When you change from one ROM type to another [from KK to Lollipop or even from the same variant but from different Developers/types of ROMS] always do the above term mentioned.
In TWRP go to wipe>advanced wipe. Then mark Cache, Dalvik Cache, Data and System.
Wipe.
Flash the ROM [don't reboot].
Flash Gapps.
Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache after Gapps [recommended].
Reboot and enjoy!
This is what I do and never have a problem.
is it possible to flash a normal 5.0 rom ? i don't like the CM12
What do you mean by "normal" 5.0 ROM?
If you mean something like the Nexus 6 ROM the answer is no. CM12 is probably the closest you'll get to pure Android Lollipop.

I been googling whole day and I cant find even one guide for Linux. I would love to downgrade my lg g3 d855 to kitkat and then upgrade to lollipop 5.1.1 but I DON'T want to install freaking windows to do it.
Hi all.
I have the 935F International on it's way to me, delivering in the next day or so
By all accounts the 935F is already unlocked. To prepare, I have already downloaded Odin 3.11.1, CF's root file, TWRP twrp-3.0.2-2-hero2lte tar, and a custom ROM and bootloader/modem files.
I'm not a noob to flashing, just newish to Samsung.
What is the best way to start? Boot into stock, enable bootloader unlock on developer options, run Odin and flash TWRP, then CF's root file? Also, I want to run unencrypted - format data using advanced wipe 'yes' method?
The ROM states it sets root on installation. Do I then need to flash CF's root file?
Further, how are bootloader/modem tar files flashed? Is it as simple as selecting BL for bootloader, although I don't see anything for the modem??
Finally, what is the actual order of all this? I'm thinking: TWRP first, Format internal data second, CF root third, ROM flash from TWRP fourth, reboot to download mode from TWRP and then flash modem/bootloader last. Then reboot all together to set the phone up?
Thanks and any help is appreciated
1. Update to latest firmware
2. CF-Autoroot
3. TWRP
4. Flash no-verity-opt-encrypt.zip, wipe data.
5. Reboot recovery, mount system.
6. Wipe all except internal and external sd.
7. Flash your ROM

Thanks for the info :good:
When you say update to latest firmware this is Bootloader and Modem yes?
Steps 2 & 4 - just having done a little more research, are these outdated now?; as TWRP (latest) now fixes encryption and the ROM will inject (for a better term ) SuperSU when installing it? Or will this still need to be done irrespective of using the latest version of TWRP and ROM?
Cheers and thanks :good:
If you're not new to rooting and custom roms, pretty much all you need is to unlock OEM in Dev Options in Settings, Restart the device and hold Vol Down+Home+Power to get into Download Mode and press Up at the blue screen. Plug in your USB to your phone and run the tool on your PC.
Once Rooted, its business as usual. You don't need a guide to install TWRP, just install the Flashify app and let it do it for you, and then have no-verity-opt-encrypt.zip handy to flash. I know no-verity-opt-encrypt.zip is essential if you flash TWRP through ODIN, but not 100% sure if you should if you flashed TWRP through Flashify, I always flash no-verity-opt-encrypt.zip regardless so I unno.
Also if you find yourself in a semi-bricked situation where you can't figure out your problem, as long as you have Download Mode, you'll always have a way to get back to a working device. Samsung Smart Switch for Windows has an Emergency Mode that will revert your device back to Factory Conditions.

2. please tell me, in case,if it's 100% legal and/or if it can void warrant.

Check again --- Just picked up the same thing this week at Walmart for $129.00 + $25 Google Play credits - it came with 7.1.1. - Take it back sounds like you got some real old stock..
They do come with Android 4.4, however if you go to Samsungs web page you can find a crispy 7.1.1 image you can flash with Odin. Then if you wish you can unlock bootloader and flash a custom recovery like CWM or TWRP and then chainfires systemless root. Cheers! Upgrading to just 7.1.1 with Odin will not void your warranty, anything else that involves unlocking the bootloader will and is will trip samsungs knox security feature. If warranty is important only flash the 7.1.1 image using Odin.

Hi, I was with the same problem, and I posted here in XDA, I'm from Brazil, i have the model SM-T560, and now i'm using nougt, from Lineageos 14.1, and this was only possible, because someone from Xda, gave me the following link:
http://www.gearappsnap.com/2018/03/14/how-to-install-android-nougat-on-the-galaxy-tab-e-sm-t561/
The rom is of the SM-T561 model, but also works on the SM-T560, read everything before doing anything. When installing TWRP, you can install the version of the SM-t560, which will not make any difference.
One more thing, I advise you to see some YouTube tutorials how to install TWRP. Just in case.
Thank You for your help!

For nothing, follow step by step that will work perfectly. Except this will end your warranty, but it's the only way to install an update. If you need any help, just talk.
gearappsnap site is not really good made.. The download links behind text which look like a normal one and also that it says, flash boot.img only when the memory is wrong..
Well, CM14.1 did not work for me.. I had to flash boot.img before EVERYTHING else, then rebooted again to TWRP and THEN install cm14.1.
Um, did you follow step by step?
I followed what was written, and for me it worked normal, The boot.img file is to fit just the memory of the table because it had some problem with the rom, without installing it, has tablet that got locked in infinite loop. And the links were working normal for me.
Links that i download:
ROM: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1D0wrGM4XyZMo-t3ll4trvJ93Pl1KEZ1V/view
Boot.img: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bqGmu4NTlEeKdsFPGjIY9lnPqujjazr4/view
softkeys: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ddSB28g1xTd0J7sl8V6QmlPZA1aX77ot/view
Gaps: https://opengapps.org/
First the TWRP is installed, with the battery above 70%, then restarts the tablet.
Within the TWRP:
1) Wibe-> advanced wibe-> selects almost anything but not microSD and OTC. and Wibe.
2) Back to the home page-> Install-> select the external storage (the files must be saved on the SD card).
3) The first file to be installed is the rom.
4) Once installed, go back to the files and at the bottom of the page you will click install image and install boot.img.
5) After Boot.img is installed, switch back to Install Zip, and Install the Softkeys.
6) After installing the softkeys go back and install the Gaps. (I used the ARM-7.1-Pico) and restart the tablet.
In my case I did not install superSU. That's what I did. This rom has some flaws but better than Kitkat, that's what I think.

In reality you have to install boot.img and softkeys before, the reason is because they are modified for the T56X, otherwise install themselves after the gaps will give error when to use. At least it is what was written on the site, and so far I have been using no defect at all.

I do not think that is effective. if you come from 4.4.4 and install it before the lineage ROM (BASE 7.1 for example) it will be erased again because with the new base everything is overwritten.

Well that didnt work for me.. Was coming from Stock 4.4 ROM. Flashed the CM14.1 AND softkeys, but NOT the boot.img, because you cannot flash zip and img files at the same time. Then I booted it and it crashed 10-60secs after it booted. Sometimes it had a boot loop.
Then I tried CM 13 which worked fine and in a german board, someone wrote (based on the gearappsnap site) that the boot.img has to be the first thing to flash and even reboot into twrp again and then flash CM14.1 + softkeys + gapps.
If you could install it, that's what matters, in my case it worked the way it was on the site, there are some bug's, but it's a lot better than the stock rom, and I was already using a custom rom on the T560 before installing this LineageOS 14.1,and it was this link:
