I've just bought a new Verizon LG G2 and decided to root and flash CM11. I got root and TWRP working, but when i tried to flash CM11 it got stuck in a boot loop of the LG logo. I'm able to do a factory hard reset and return to TWRP, but it seems i forgot to make a backup in my eagerness. I can also get into download mode. I've tried using the LG Mobile Support Tool to return to stock but the tool wont download the software and says my device is an LGV500. I've used the adb sideload method but i get "error: device not found". I honestly have no idea what i'm doing wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1st check whether CM11 is available for your handset (usually it'll happen if u flashed other handsets rom)
If so Get into TWRP and then do factory reset, wipe your cache and dalvik cache....... And then 1ce again flash CM11 and have some patience man....!!!

If bootloop exits connect ur phone to pc and flash the stock 1.....
If ur device is not found or shows someother device it is due to some problems in the drivers...... So uninstall the drivers and download new 1 from xda and install it and then connect your device(what I did and worked) and flash stock.......
Sometimes it'll take few mins to detect or else disconnect and try somemore times.......

Hey everyone I'm quite new to android, and I'm currently stuck in Download Mode after trying and failing to install Twrp
I was previously Rooted, tried to install Twrp via Autorec, however when I ran the app it soft-bricked my phone and put me into Fastboot mode.
I followed http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2476972 method, and got back to Download Mode.
I am currently in the middle of returning to stock through http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2432476 using the .TOT method.
I'm fairly close to repairing it but my only issue is that I cannot get my computer to recognize my phone. Neither in Device management nor adb devices anymore.
Therefore I cannot change the port to COM 41 to flash the .TOT file.
I constantly tried installing drivers for the phone both 3.10 and 3.08 but still no recognition can anybody help?
Some more info about the phone:
it's the D801 variant but its on Wind (Canada) not T-mobile
it was previously Rooted
it did not have any recovery software installed
no roms had been flashed previously.

Try to restore your phone using the official LGMobile Support Tool. Just switch on normally the phone, plug it to your PC and wait for your kdz to be downloaded. Once it done, it should install the kdz by itself. Then factory reset your phone (if needed) as it should ask you some pin/password.
Hope it'll help you as it did for me!
Hi Guys,
I brought my LG G2 D802 32GB last week and I believe it's possibly hard bricked if not soft bricked so let me start by saying that anyone who can help me get my brand new G2 working will be receiving some beer money!
I've owned over 15 android devices over the years and i'd say i'm a competent flasher but I've never had such a problem flashing any of those devices as I have on the G2!
So here's what I did:
1) Updated Phone to 4.4.2 and rotted using IOroot method (Root was successful)
2) Install LG USB Drivers
3) Flashed CWM 6.0.4.4 (Flashed successful and CWM was working fine with Root access on ROM)
I then decided to put TWRP as the recovery because after much research it seemed to be the most popular choice.
4) Downloaded D802_AutoRec.apk (I believe this was the correct recovery for my device)??
here's what happened:
After using AutoRec to flash TWRP recovery I rebooted and the phone displayed:
450 Fastboot mode started
500 udc_started()
Plugging in the USB cable then adds the following lines:
660 -reset-
670 -portchange-
740 fastboot; processing commands
Note that Download mode WAS available at this point.
I then tried flashing CWM recovery again through fastboot which showed as successful but still stuck in fastboot after rebooting. The same happened for TWRP.
I then went to the LG website, put in my IMEI number and downloaded the stock ROM (D80220C_00). I used the G2 extractor to extract the kdz to a DZ file then extracted the aboot/boot & laf.img. Since I did this I have lost download mode!
It's interesting to note that fastboot shows attached device as:
? fastboot
and ADB shows no attached devices.
I'm not sure this is relevant as I still seem to be able to push commands to the phone through fastboot?
I then tried to flash the stock ROM (D80220C_00) using LG Flash Tool however it gets to 27% and says "cannot connect to the phone
So as it stands at the moment all I have is the option to flash using fastboot, I have no download mode, no recovery or no working ROM. Have I completely bricked my phone or is there anything else I can try to get the stock ROM back on there?
Any help is massively appreciated!

After reboot i got my phone in boot loop. now the current situation is that
1- I have nothing on my phone everything wiped out. no rom backup or anything else on my phone memory.
2- I have stock recovery (pictures attached).
3- I have broken download mode. ( so i can't attach my phone to lg flash tool) picture attached.
4- I am stuck on boot loop with cm11 M5 ( last rom installed using adb sideload option from stock rom)

How can i try tot method without going to download mode ? as i said phone only have stock recovery , Yes there is an option in stock recovery "Apply update from ADB" by selecting that i can run adb sideload commands. And i can flash any zip rom from that option . I tried several rom's using this option but installation aborted in middle .
Does device manager in Windows recognize your device? In Tot method you do port settings to flash kdz. Also you can give it a try for LG pc suite.
Hi guys, I might need some help or a walk through here, I might have bricked my phone. I stump-rooted my phone ( 4.4.2) and installed TWRP Recovery 2.8.1 initially , Installing SuperSU which patched my sdcard and rebooted causing my phone to get stuck in a boot loop giving me no access to download mode, just recovery. From there I tried to install Cynogen mod 12 in TWRP recovery to fix the bootloop but any attempt at flashing gave me an error "error executing updater binary in zip." So I extracted the folders and flashed the 2.7.0 recovery.img which sayed it worked but now my phone is still stuck in boot loop, no download mode and when I try to enter recovery I get stuck in fastboot mode with port change errors. I took some screenshots so it would be easier to help me out. Every time I plug in the USB I get the following errors, the screenshot is from continuous attempts
I have the mini sdk installed and Koush drivers. Device manager does not recognize my phone anymore but it does come up under Fastboot Interface
Any Help would be greatly Appreciated
Because I'm a new member I can't post screenshots so just add an h infront of the links.
Thanks in advance for all your help

Can you please explain how to do that WITHOUT entering download mode?
Maybe LG Flash recognizes your phone and will do the job.
LG Flash does not recognize my phone at all. http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/lg-g2-unbrickable-fix-real-hard-brick-t2904404 Do you think this method will work?
I once bricked my phone by installing a L01F ROM on my phone by accident, and had to manually reflash every partition in windows CMD prompt. I have been using my phone fine since I recovered from the brick but I was going to tot to stock and update to lollipop but my download mode says secure boot error and shows up as qhsusb_bulk in device manager and gives me a ton of partitions. I have been looking around for a solution but cannot find one. The only thing that is broke is my download mode. I have recovery and a booting ROM.
